Hi. I have a i8190n. I have noticed that the battery is draining when i'm not even using it. I installed Wakelock Detector and have narrowed the possible causes to the following:
-Main
-Deleted_Wake_locks
-mali_wakelock
I am using stock android which is rooted: PDA-I8190NXXAML1, CSC-I8190NVFGAML1, Modem-I8190NXXAML1. Anyone know why I am getting such high kernal wakelocks with the above mentioned when the phone isn't even in use?
Thanks!
BUMP. Anyone?? I had formatted the phone, which helped for a while but now the problem is back

I have both android system and Android OS listed in my battery use screen the android system uses 1% of my battery while the Android OS is using 58% of the battery and I have have no idea how to stop it or what is it...
I assume you are running Gingerbread 2.3.3. It's a bug . To stop it, reboot your device.

That's strange... the bug is caused because some apps which use the 3D module are not optimized to work with gingerbread and they keep running at background... but if you rebooted and it didn't stop, you should have installed an app which is draining your battery... try to remember which app did you installed before the drain appeared!
I know for those of us on the captivate with that issue it takes pulling the battery for a few minutes to get that issue to stop

Just curious, but do you have a reference/bug link for that one?
If you are on 2.3.3, that's probably the android OS battery drain bug.

If you install watchdog lite and allow it to monitor all system processes, you might see suspend taking up a lot of CPU. If you reboot, the battery stats may not have been cleared, but the bug may be temporarily gone for a while.
Easiest fix seems to be to flash 2.3.4. I have not had it since
Its probably the android operating system which is what your phone runs on.
It's probably pulse that is causing the battery drain I will check it out and report back

i believe we are having the same problem
my phone even had the charging animation going
flying_bear has a point but there was no cable inserted into my phone at the time
this is definitely a bug
i'm using latest eternitymod and reflashed latest kernel
will keep an eye out for it in the future and see if it happens again and why
Having exactly the same issue on eternity prj kernel. Also noticed a loto f battery drain. It made my phone stay on 51 mhz for like 32 hours. It only slept for 33 hours.Never had such problems before this wakelock.
EDIT : I also have widgetlocker installed, could it be causing it?
Hi. I have the i1890N currently on stock and rooted. The problem is there is some wakelock causing the battery to drain like crazy. I've spent months trying to figure out whats causing it but can't figure it out. I have a feeling it is something to do with wifi as when that is turned off, the wakelock isn't present. So I was thinking of changing to a custom rom, in particular, one which isn't heavy on battery, and which is stable Any suggestions? Thanks!
I was using Maximus HD 53.0 and I notice my cell battery was horrible and it was because of Cell Standby. I did some research and it seems like a known issue with 5.0.2. Im now using a downgrade Android Revolution HD with Kitkat 4.4 and it seems to help the issue. I would much rather fix the problem so I can use 5.0.2. How can I fix this issue?
I had a similar issue while living in Japan. Battery drained insanely fast due to cell standby.
I applied this bl .oov.ch/2013/04/android-docomo-mvno-sim.html xposed module and everything was fine and dandy again.
Not sure if your issue is caused by the same issue, but it cant hurt trying.
Even i am facing cell standby drain. Can anyone link me to the xposed module ?
Hello!
I have a huge battery problem with my Note 5... I flashed a lot of roms to see if anything changes but it doesn't... I always get max. 3hours of screen on time. Even after installing xposed for amplify and greenify but it doesn't make any difference. In the battdry settings i always get this Android OS bug which is very high. But it doesn't go away with the latest SuperSU or disabling a lot of things in the settings (googled this Android OS bug) I even replaced the battery but it didn't help at all... I'm really desperate...
Perhaps one of you has a solution, that would be fu******* awesome!
Thank you
I found the problem finally!! BLUEDROID_TIMER is causing wakelocks!! If i turn bluetooth off everything is great! But i have bluetooth headphones and i can't find a fix online...
battery drain issue may be the cause for this so try to flash stock rom and then supersu systemless with xposed and check your battery
also it may be an app that you installed causing this wake locks so I suggest making a factory reset if the problem presists

I flashed at least 10 roms with no success... I amplified this bluedroid_timer wakelock and battery sees to be better.
only 3hours of screen time??? I wish i got 2hr
