Can someone make a list of which devices are considered "Second-Generation"?
I have a phone called Infinix Hot 2 (Android One, MT6580, 16GB Internal memory, codename "Infinix_X510_sprout") which is supposed to be a second-gen android one phone according to Wikipedia but all the "second-gen" ROMS here doesn't seem to be compatible with it.
Easy:
Only Snapdragon devices are supported here.
.
Usually, nobody from the DEV's is interested in MTK devices, since there is no source/support from Mediatek available.
Your phone(codename sprout, Mediatek 6582 CPU) is 1st gen Android One phone.

If it hasn't been done already, you can be pretty sure it won't be. Porting is not as easy as you think and it's even worse for you because you have a MTK chip. Since they don't fully disclose their source code, developers have their hands tied. Good luck getting any decent working custom ROM with a MTK chipset. Word of advice: next time buy a Snapdragon.

No idea. It is very difficult, or most likely impossible to crossport the rom from another chipset especially for device that has no sourcce code. I will add redmi 2 to your list (snapdrgon 410), same chipset with oppo, but it can even gets stable android 10 (Lineageos 17.1). But no one developer in xda to port it to oppo a37, cause the source.

Almost impossible, unless Project Mainline comes out and support every version of Android with cross platform support, it is not possible. (From my 4 years of experience.)
