Thanks. Any tester for DUAL ROM support ? :highfive:
I just installed it on a new XXLSA installation (the sammobile leak). Couldn't do this with stock recovery (verification error). Had to switch first to Philz 3.99 and in his recovery installed your kernel.
And now booting and waiting...
Waiting a bit too long...

Thanks reporting. Must be missing service.
Need to install TW myself to fix this. Aww..
Wich rom is better? What are the differences between them? Why the developers don't work together to make only one rom?
So, first of all, Pure Vanilla is based on an older JellyMod version (v2 I guess), but since then each of them has made his own tweaks to the ROM to suit his liking and now they're a bit different from each other, you would be best suited testing both of these and then choosing the best one... Both are great by the way
some modifications in systemui, themed & build.prob
but both roms based on chucky bean master rom.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2110245
pure vanilla in V3 based on stock firmware I9070XXLQB
i think chuky bean and jelly mod also
I observed excessive battery drain Jellymod & Chucky Bean ROM for me Pure Vanilla or Firmware better at this point.
please keep threads clean!
questions liket this you can ask here

OFF: In jellymod just don't change the governor, don't install no-frills or other CPU tweaker. Use CoCore-E 4.4 or 5.0 and try you battery life again.
well as being a good happy developer who has no problems with any other developer or his roms i'll say both roms are great battery drain issue is because of changing governors and other things you do with the cpu frills app... i use all the kernels without tweaking any other thing and battery is mostly at best in all kernels hope this helps you out! try it

please compare the battery life with a customized governor in jellymod, and with a non touched governor (in a clean installation)
Y have a great battery life, just look the screenshot.

cocore 5.0
jellymod 4.0
no frills: pegasusq /sio
and with data off my battey drains 1% 2hrs.
btw jellymod is awesome, just install nova launcher instead the default launcher of the rom and its works like a charm

4cyl ? Yes u can.

I personally think JellyMod is better. But Pure Vanilla is debloated which optimalized the CPU and RAM, if I'm correct. The other difference is that JellyMod uses Apex Launcher and Pure Vanilla uses Nova Launcher.

I've experimented with a couple of JB based ROMs so far... Slim Bean, PAC, Paranoid Android, and currently my daily driver is CyanogenMod.
What JB rom + kernel combinations have governor options, zRam, overclocking, Bigmem+Hugemem, and other performance tweaks? Each of the above have a different set of the above options... IIRC PAC had the most, but I didn't like the animations used in the UI. CyanogenMod (I thought) had zRam, but now I'm on it I've dug around and, well, apparently not.

For me Latest cyanogen mod nightly ROM, Hugemem patch and Semaphore latest 's' kernel is the best combination for performance. It's worth giving a try

If you're using semaphore kernel then you can download the semaphore manager app from the play store and enable hugemem in it.

First flash the ROM (cm10.2) then flash the hugemem(/bigmem) patch given in below link:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30725734%22
Then flash the latest semaphore "s" kernel.
And finally, the gapps for ROM.
This is the best combination for flashing.
after installation Enable bigmem from semaphore manager app

This kind of threads are forbidden on XDA - "best ROM thread".
You can do this: Install CoCore, install NoFrill CPU, change governor to PegasusQ in that app, and IO Scheduler to SIOPLUS or SIO. For ROMs, try and see what suits you best.
