I've been searching and searching and searching and also very frequently checking out "Development and hacking" to see if someone skinned the touch-dual dialer... nope! Can't find it anywhere.
There's a new dialer skin on practically a daily basis being churned out in the Dev and Hack forum and they are unanimously based on the Touch dialer and not Touch-dual.
Why is it important for me (you Dutty's rom users know why) .. cuz its simply the best dialer in my opinion for someone, like me, who uses my Tilt for extensive business purposes and have to entertain over 100 calls almost every weekday. So the dialers smart-search ability which is very intuitive along with a few other perks like it prompting to save a previously unsaved number and large dialed number display are just too much for me to give up on.
I did find one dialer that would've been perfect but was made by one Tom Codon and apparently he releases his dialers to ROM makers only! Blah!
Also.. why I need another skin for it, it cuz this one has a lot of problems with mis-tapping numbers and is a known issue with it.
If I got a bit greedy... then I'd love to see someone add a soft button on screen for "conference" feature when one has two calls being answered. Currently I have to tap on the options and then tap the conference option. A little inconvenient.. hehe.

This was not morse code. I was trying to be helpful, and thought I had found the dialer you are interested in. After I had posted I realized it was not the same dialer you had referred to. I wasn't able to find a way to delete my post, and there is no way to remove the text from the post, apparently there is a minimum amount of letters a post must have.

AWESOME DUDE... I'm very thankful to you for this. The dialer is exaclty what I was looking for. I would've found it had the maker simply added "Touch-dual based" or something similar to the title.
Anywho .. I'm just jumping up and down at the moment..

I'd like for my Tilt to become the Diamond too.. but not until its gonna offer 3G data. Edge simply won't cut it.
The Diamond has a stylus sensor that can be applied to applications, here is one that I stumbled accross that may be helpful:

Sorry, but yes you are...
At the first link you have a animation of stylus in/out and 2 texts : "Action when stylus inside" and "Action when stylus outside"
Even the stupid google translation will give you the purpose of this app.
(for the 2nd link, ok, "SIP" it's a little hard word for newbie, follow this link)
PS : I'm french too, it's not a excuse.
I'd like to know why the hell get this issue in every different font I use.
Thanks for your time.
I would ask Cacheinjection, the maker of Darkstar. He found a fix for this in his theme.
It happens due to the size of the font being large, Android switches to symbols when the text runs off.
Do u think it would work if I resize the font with a font editor?

When Cache was having problems with the coconut font he uses in his theme it was due to missing symbols within the font, once he added them it worked like a charm. Definately mail Cache and speak with him
I got some tips, but I'm still working on it

Hi guys. Earlier in the year I produced some work. I printed the file off and I've had a copy ever since. I've come back to edit it, and I appear to have lost the file on my laptop :|
I've recreated the document based on the hard-copy I have. I'm having a few troubles identifying the font though. Can anybody help me?!
I'm pretty sure it's not Arial, as the letter A looks different.

The 'R' differs. I missed that. The lower case 'r' is suspect for my next guess as well, but I'll go with:
Gothic 720
identifont.com/show?296
(and that's my final answer...)
Helpful characters (that are not in your screenshot) to help ID the font family would be to see currency symbols, such as USD and GBP, the ampersand, some capital letters such as M and G. The number 4 as well.
[My replies and post edits are delayed at least 5 minutes due to my low post count and the forum's spam trapper. Sorry for the delayed updates.]

It was Arial after all of that, it just looked a lot different to how it was on my screen. I printed my re-make off, set the font size smaller and it was the same!
Stupid me, thanks anyway though mate!

Hi all,
I've searched all around the net (and XDA off course), but I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Does anyone have a Snow Leopard folder icon (icns) with an embossed Android logo?
Or is anyone here grafically gifted enough to create such thing? I really suck at graphical design, so hopefully anyone in here is willing to give it a try. I'll buy the best one a cup of coffee (or a beer if you prefer that over coffee...)
I've attached a plain folder icon and an example of the Snow Leopard Downloads folder, to show the embossing effect. I'd really like at least the Android robot to show embossed in the folder, the text "Android" is less relevant (but would be cool, if the robot doesn't get too small). Can anyone help me out?
Thanks for your trouble.
Edit Co-member Jumba created a beautiful folder icon, with can be found in post #19. The result can be found in post #20.
Jumba, thanks again!
Sincerely,
Mac

I wish I had your skills, at least if it comes to Ps
I've replaced the generic icon for the folder with your icon, but for some reason it doesn't match the rest of them. See screenshots attached. The difference is best seen in the first screenshot (list view). Could it be you used a different template? Or did I provide the wrong template?
Sincerely,
Mac

Hmmm, not sure... I tried to match the icon stye to the reference you posted, but sometimes a simple difference in line thickness doesn't translate so well when reducing the icon size. I also used an online converter to convert from .png to .icns, so maybe that blurred the output slightly. The top edge of the folder doesn't look quite like the others, so maybe the template wasn't exactly correct. I can make the lines a bit thicker, but I'm not sure what's up with the folder...

Hi Jumba,
Thanks for your effort, again.
I think I know what's 'wrong'.... If I open the generic folder icon, there's multiple icons inside (like in yours), but the smallest icon has a different folder layout. See screenshot attached. Could you edit the generic folder with the logo, to retain the difference between the large and smallest size? I hope I'm not asking to much of you...
The first edition is my favourite, as all folder icons have the graphic center aligned...
Sincerely,
Mac

That's what I have been using. The only problem is that it only accepts one file, then builds the other sizes itself. I need the ability to inject different sizes into the file, but no worries, I think I have a solution...

Almost there... It looks a lot better (it's nearly perfect), so thank you again for your time and effort . One small request (hopefully)... (and please let me buy you a cup of coffee, as I highly appreciate the trouble you've taken!)
It's only the smallest size which is different now. I've made two screenshots, from your icon and the generic folder icon, both zoomed in at the same level. Would it be possible to give your icon the same 'border' as the generic one? That way it will blend in with the rest of them (see last screenshot).
Thanks again!
Mac
It's a pleasure, thanks are reward enough. Here's one with the small icon fixed.
Edit: The icon is a blank folder for now. Let me find a small android icon...
Since Jumba is being such a good sport I can suggest donating to the XDA crew as they both deserve and need it.
I'm loving both your work and attitude!
