Easiest Rooting Method for Galaxy note every Firmware (GB & ICS)-Rooting Only No CWM

this is not my method just found this in the forums and wanted to share.
the credits are to the original developer dr.ketan .
This is the Easyest Method Without kernel flashing and Yes -- No Triangle
Confirmed Working and Tested on latest official LPY.
1- Flash any Stock firmware with PC or Mobile Odin
2- Let the phone is completly boot
3- Copy CWM.zip and Superuser busybox installer into the root of memory card
4- reboot into stock revovery
5- select update from zip and then slect the cwm.zip file
6- after flashing the phone will boot into CWM
7- flash the busyox superuser.zip through this CWM
8- after flashing reboot and now you have root

cwm is not permanent
next time u boot into recovery it will be stock one
but root is permanent

[GUIDE][How To RooT 4.2.2][STOCK 4.2.2][P3100/P3110 first leak]

Okay guys so you flashed the new 4.2.2 rom and lost root access then this thread is for you

So I spend 1 hour trying to find way to root the new 4.2.2 and came to this very easy method
HOW TO ROOT THE 4.2.2 Frimware BY SAMSUNG!!
1.Download the recovery .tar.md5 from the attachment it is philz touch recovery repacked by me for 4.2.2 thanks for phil for his recovery
2.Download the root .zip from the attachment
3.Place the root.zip in your EXTERNAL SDCARD
4.Reboot to download mode
5.Download odin.zip and extract the zip in a folder
6.Flash the recovery.tar.md5
7.After odin giving you sucsses
8.Rboot to recovery
9.Flash the root.zip
10.Reboot
11.HIT THE THANKS BUTTON
Note:WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD THE RECOVERY.TAR.MD5 YOU SHOULD DELELTE THE EXTRA EXTENTION WHICH IS .ZIP
REMMEBER I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOU DEVICE!!!

Is this Odin (attached) is sufficient to flash 4.2.2 firmware ?

Is it necessary to flash ur recovery.. As I have ketut repacked version of philz touch recovery.. This is necessary for dual boot.. Please explain?

remove dual boot as the kernel does not support 4.2.2 Sammy roms i thinks you still did not flash the new rom?????

The rom is now avalible

As I found in another thread that the deodex version of the ROM has bootloop , I have decided to flash the official version first and then root it. I have not done anything before on my stock 4.1.2 I.e no CWM or root . For this ROM is it sufficient to keep system recovery or I have to install cwm recovery , after flashing through Odin does the warranty violated ? Please clear my doubt and also provide Odin link .
Thanks in advance .One more question, what about lag compare to 4.1.2 ?

Don't worry Bro all Devs among them Mythi, are aware to make JB 4.2.2 run fine on your p3110

Can i set root.zip into internal sdcard (i don't have external one!) to root my 4.2.2 gtab2 ?

u need to extract it from zip folder :good:

cf-autoroot works very well
To root 4.2.2. Buil just use the latest cf-autoroot for 4.1.2 it works like a charm

Yes but odin wipes internal storage!!

Noo dont use the cf auto root cuz it installs 4.1.2 recovery on 4.2.2 then recovery partition will be corrupted.,

How to install CWM Recovery?

I downloaded several versions of CWM for S3 Mini (e.g. PhilZ CWM, 6.0.3.2, 6.0.2.7, 6.0.2.8. touch...), all installable via Odin. I put TAR into PDA and click Start, Odin show message that update is successful (after 6 seconds) but when I enter into Recovery mode, there is still native Android recovery.
My device is not rooted and it has original 4.1.2. android. I tried to change Recovery first in order to root it. What am I doing wrong? I also have Galaxy S3 and I can change Recovery which I want, so I am not noobie in custom recovery install procedure via Odin.

what version of odin you use?

I tried 3.08 I think. Have to check at home. What version do you prefer?

for s3 mini all version we must use odin v3.09 and up

Huh, I tried also with Odin 3.09 and it didn't work. Odin notifies that file is uploaded but still I have original recovery. Any other idea?

1,Download twrp recovery
2,download supersu.zip
3,download odin tool
Steps
1,Open odin
2,Go to odin options and uncheck auto reboot.
3,choose AP and upload twrp recovery in odin
4,connect device to pc via usb cable
5,boot device into download mode
6,hit start in odin to flash twrp recovery.
7,once odin shows pass take out battery and insert again
8,boot into twrp recovery by pressing 3 button combo(volume up+home+power)
9,flash superzu.zip
10,reboot and wait until your device full booted.

i download it and flash it with twrp it's go well but the device freeze on T-mobile for more than 30 minutes then i remove battery and reboot and same thing
the good thing that i was having a backup for the system and boot so i restore it and he come back to 5.1.1 and boot normally
i dont know what i did wrong you have any idea why 6.0.1 didnt work for me ?

It won't boot Because you are still on dok2 lollipop bootloader.
You need to update your bootloader and modem to marshmallow first.
Link below for marshmallow bootloader and modem.flash through odin.
Choose ( BL) in odin for flash bootloader.
Choose ( CP) in odin for modem.

If still doesn't boot try to flash rom again with any custom kernel in twrp because the rom you are trying to flash is n910t3 rom not n910t.

I have 920c .. after trying several custom roms .. i want to get back to stock .. i unroot super su .. the device boot to TWRP recovery .i did full wipe factory reset.. reboot and its get back to recovery .. flash the stock through odin its give me error DRK ...the only way to boot its flash TWRP after stock then flash super su through usb ... how can i have the device UNROOTED ?? Thanks in advanced.
