Is there any way to disable light dimming on ICS FOP ? Thanks in advance!

The dev section is not for questions, but if you would have read it you would know that.

[Q] mackay rom

I,m using the Mackay Rom (1.48) But I can not choose my own ringtone. Is there a way to use my own Ringtone.
On every other Rom I could use my own Ringtone.

There is a thread for Mackay Rom in Android Development Forum. You can search that thread maybe this was discussed already. If not, you can post your problem there. I'm sure the Developer will be more than happy to help you with your problem.
P.S.: I'm not using Mackay Rom so I cannot help you with this.

Yes ,I know that. But I,m not allowed to post in the Development Forum. So that is why I post it here.

Sorry, if your problem was not yet discussed in the Mackay Rom Development Forum, I think the quickest way is to complete your 10 posts by posting in the General Discussion Forum and in the Q&A Forum just like I did before.

It took some time before my own ringtones were visible.

[Q] ROM JB with SENSE 5?

Hello guys
I would like to know if someone is working on a new ROM Jelly Bean that includes the HTC sense.
I know that this is an outdated phone but I hate to change it too much and have a new ROM so it would be great!
I like too much sense and I can not give it up.

I'm sorry. SOKP is closed for now due to lack of server. But we will be back online soon.

Thanks for that announcement. This ROM is the best by far and I hope the lollipop version will rock my device the same way the last version does. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Hello, great looking rom here. I woyuld like to try it out. But i want to know few things if its possible...
1. Does this rom improve battery life on LG g2 d802 Kitkat 4.4.2 (not rooted) ?
2. I dont know which one to download on the Sonic kang website, so which one will suit and be best for my g g2 d802 (uk)(international)
3. Will the LED lights still work the same way as the stock rom?
4. Will 4g work on this rom?
p.s Yes i am a newbie and a noob at andriod os and the works. I will continue expanding my knowledge on this site. But thanks for the great looking rom.
ps.s. This will be my first time ever rooting and installing rom

Ahh. Well i saw a vid on youtube, vid was in 2013 or 2014. He was using sokp on his lg g2 , and it looks cool . Thats why was posting it hee my bad :angel: and thanks ! Do you recommend rom for g2 d802 which wont cause heating problems as well as good battery

As for ROMs - I really have no idea. I don't own a kg device. But if you have development for dirty unicorn, cloudy ROM or resurrection remix check them out. But make sure you're in the right lg g2 forum

First of all, this is a question, so it belongs in the Q&A
Yes source was released but as far as I know, not factory images. Its going to be months before anything is seen.

It should still be considered under Development since technically its about development. I do this for other threads posting questions related to ROM developing. And I have marked it as a question so it has every right to be here for ROM devs to give links to their Android L based ROMS if they choose to spread the word.

They're for troubleshooting and device help such as bricks, damaged recovery, etc. I don't need to liter around asking for ROM requests. I want people who needs real help to get help from other devs and I don't want to take their time from helping people from issues with their phone so I made the thread here. For all intents and purposes, I believe this thread can stay here for other ROM devs to make references.

Q&A is what it is, a question and an answer.
It doesn't specify what type of question, and you're fighting pretty damn hard to prove your thread is okay, and I can assure its not. Reardless, I still answered your question, and this thread will be moved/closed/nuked soon, so I'm done.

This is a useless thread in this section... Needs to be moved to Q&A or deleted. As you should see, questions such as this in a development section only cause ridiculous arguments...
