Hi all!
Since I updated my phone, a Samsung galaxy S4 plus (GT-I9506),my LG watch G R does not show any notification or very few of them. Things started to get worse when I updated the watch to 5.0.1,at the time my phone was in 4.4.2, but since the official update of my S4 to lollipop the watch just does not work. I have reseted the phone, the watch, clean data and cache but with no success... I took the watch to the shop but they are doing anything they can not to give me a refund or exchange it change for another product. I do not know what else to do...
Any ideas? Is anybody else having the same issues?
Thanks in advance!
It could be lollipop firmware on your phone
I updated my note 3 to a leaked version of lollipop just before Xmas and my G watch R was unusable.
Constant disconnections etc
I flashed my phone back to Kit kat and it has been perfect ever since
The official lollipop for note 3 has just been released today but I am very reluctant to go through all that again until I know it works perfect
You could try going back to kit kat on your phone and see if it works again
Thanks for your reply! The lollipop firmware in my phone it's official. I thought android wear had support for Android 4.3 onwards... I am regretting so much having sold my pebble...
I took the plunge and updated my note 3 to lollipop official release and it's much better than the leak was
I'm still getting random disconnects now and again But it reconnects again straight away so not a massive deal
I had to go back to official 4.4.2. The watch was loosing connection constantly... Hopefully they will solve this in a future update

Anyone else experiencing any issues since upgrading to 4.4.2? My phone is Vodafone branded, and ever since I upgraded the bluetooth seems to have severely suffered.
It struggles with disconnecting from one device and connecting to another, quite often it can't find the device at all and will require a reboot before it can see the device.
I'm also finding that the top button to turn on the display will intermittently not work. I don't think it's a hardware fault as it always works eventually.
Also the battery life seems to have taken a significant hit since this update, I'm at about 10% by each evening.
Upgrade? The mini 2 was born with 4.4.2... Are you sure you're talking about the mini 2?
There have been a few updates for the mini 2 but not too sure if there was any major version updates.
I got my Moto X in October 2014, and at the time I thought it was the best phone ever. It did everything perfectly, no issues with the car bluetooth, hands-free, etc. Just great all the time.
In November, the Lollipop update came, and since then, it's been non-stop issues. I know there are memory leaks and people report problems, but just wondering if it's this bad for everyone. By the way, I did a factory reset a couple of months ago, but didn't see much improvement.
Here's a list of things that came with the Lollipop update.
A few times per day, I get this message: "Unfortunately, Google Play Services has stopped". It happens with all sorts of apps. After that, I can't tell what is actually broken, if anything.
Sometimes (maybe once every two weeks) when the phone rings, I get the vibration/ringer, but I can't actually answer it until I unlock the phone.
Not all apps sync to my Moto 360, even after doing a "resync". This could of course be an issue with the 360.
Also on the 360, sometimes notifications just stop, but the "Offline" indicator isn't present.
Google Play Music and Pocket Casts are especially problematic.
Lag. Just starting an application, there is always that half-second delay.
So my questions...
1. Is it possible to revert to KitKat? I haven't seen ROM images available. I used adb plenty of times with my HTC One, but the phone was rooted and had a custom recovery, so I felt safer doing it.
2. Is there any info on when 5.1 (or 5.0x) will become available for the Verizon model?
3. Do you think Verizon would take the phone back, just based on my general complaint that the phone has been essentially broken for 5 out of the 6 months I've had it?
Thanks for any help.
You can't go back to kit kat because the bootloader has been updated. You could try a warranty and tell them all the problems, I doubt they would exchange because that's only the first 15 days, after that warranty replacement. You could flash an unbranded stock ROM, don't need to unlock bootloader . or say goodbye to warranty and flash custom ROMs. I am running eclipse on my moto x 2013. It has all stock features
i been trying to pair the watch to my opo but the app isnt seeing it

Maybe the watch is defective? As it's not getting detected on any of your other phones either? I have my GWatchR paired with 0 issues on my OnePlus1.
I have paired and running correctly on my OnePlus 2 on stock Oxygen OS 2.1.1 (android 5.1.1) for two weeks. Before I owned a Nexus 5 and 0 problems in near a year, using stock Android 5.0.2, 5.1.x, 6.0 and CM12.1, all with and without root
As it said in the previous post, if you tried on another phones and still not working, maybe your G Watch is defective?
I have it paired with OPO. Factory reset the watch and reboot the OPO. And try to connect again
The only issue is that every 2nd day the watch shuts down.
Have to factory reset the watch every 2nd watch.
Going to return the watch back to LG once they respond
Hey guys. Just got my Note 4 (in white, I love it). Just finished setting everything up. Now I'm wondering whether I should upgrade to Lollipop. Basically I don't want to upgrade if there are any major bugs or other issues that sometimes pop up with firmware updates.
Or if someone can point me to the Lollipop upgrade thread because I couldn't find one.
In the poprocks thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...procks-rom-v1-tw-rom-bases-tmo-stock-t3096286
I found the stock COD6 download https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952595535
I (not actually me, she) just got the note4 and I'm wondering the same thing. It came with NK4, I rooted and TWRPed and it's running stock 4.4.4. I have a Sprint S5 that's been running 4.4.2 since February and it's stable as hell.
I can talk about stock, since I have to stay that way for work purposes. 5.0.1 is ever so slightly faster. For me battery is about the same. I had to full wipe 3 times to get it to minimise bugs. Keyboard hangs about 2-3 times a day. About twice a month the phone will all of a sudden really lag or reboot when waking while it's reconnecting to data. About once a month I find I have to wipe cache partition because it'll start getting "buggy." That seems to keep it at least functioning normal for a few weeks.
Hello guys.
I own an xt1800, and pretty happy with it.
It came out of the box with Android 7.1, and got updated to 8.1 via ota sometida months ago.
What I'm noticing is that the phone gets sluggish after 100+ hours of be powered on, this did not happen in 7.1
If I restart the phone everything goes back to normal, so it's something related to the os.
What do I mean by sluggish? For example if you open chrome, it can be unresponsive for some seconds and then comes to life. If you are loading a webpage and scrolling, it can freeze for a few seconds and then continue working...
This is not exclusive of chrome, other apps suffer from this as well (such as Gboard)
Many security patches had been applied since the 8.1 upgrade, but none of them fixed the issue.
The upgrade was done via OTA.
Have you experienced something like this?
I used to have a Moto X 1st Gen, and the stock/original firmware (4.2.2) was the best version of the phone. It got updated to 4.4, 4.4.4 and 5.1 but they all had some issues the 4.2.2 didn't.
I'm wondering if you are not supposed to upgrade a Motorola phone, since I'm experiencing something like that with this phone as well.
Any ideas?
Thank you.
