[Q] L90 D415 MHL HDMI to HDTV? - LG Optimus L90

I tried search all the subforums but nothing came up. Is there any way to mirror my L90 (D415 variant) to my dumb HDTV. I looked online and it seems that MHL is not a supported feature for this phone. Any other alternatives out there short of using another phone?

Miracast or Chromecast. No wired solution.

HDMI or something on the nexus one?

Hi,
I want to know if there is a way that I can see my nexus one on the TV. Or if not that, atleast show videos like from YouTube. I can only play audio.
Please help me. My TV has no USB port, but I have a USB thingy connected to my TV through HDMI.

Remote control your Nexus from your PC, and connect your PC to the TV.
But then why would you need Nexus...
I'm afraid it's not possible... the only thing you could do is this.
afaik, the only device through which you can do something like that is desire HD, since it features a mini-HDMI port.
You can't connect it the conventional way, since there's no HDMI port...but you could try through the USB cables
Btw, the Desire HD does not have a HDMI port, but the Evo 4G does.

There is no way to do HDMI mirroring without HDMI support built into the phones hardware, and unfortunately, the N1 lacks any ability to output video to anywhere other than the display on the phone.
What behelit was talking about is using a DLNA server on your device, which will allow you to have your music, videos, and pictures available for people to view over your local network with any DLNA compatible device. All while being wireless. Many newer Samsung and Sony TVs support this, along with a lot of their BluRay players (including other manufacturers) along with the PS3 and the XBox 360. Essentially it works like a dvd player where you will have menus and can pause and rewind and all that fun stuff.
I believe the usb host thread has examples of people using an external monitor, but I don't think the usb output is HDMI...
The USB host thread has people using external USB2HDMI adapter, which gets the output sent for it by the device driver in the OS.
No way to do anything like it without modifying the OS to have USB host capability to begin with. Or building a special external USB host and drivers.

You could try and find a N1 Desktop Dock on eBay and use the mini-HDMI adaptor on that.

[Q] Connect to tv?

Is there any possibillity to connect Optimus Black to tv?
Through SmartShare?
Sent from my LG-P970 using Tapatalk
Or HDMI dock like this:
http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/11/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-for-atandt-ratted-out-by-its-own-hdmi-dock/
Since when does the OB has HDMI ? It'd be nice if it did have though. Good job don't need to connect to TV if need comes will have to go the SmartShare way.

Cause they are bunch of incompetent idiots - like the rest of LG staff.
Lol @ LG website..
For the topic I may say new generation televisions are having their own CPU and software and thus having a little brain that we can modify with.. and also WiFi so might be there will be a way to connect optimus black to it. But who knows how many of is will have our OB intact till then.!

There are already appearing DVB/Media Center set top boxes based on Android, capable of making many things. Plan to get one.
There are lots of Micro-Usb to HDMI or Composite or Component Cables but does the Optimus Black support it?
-
works?
microusb-hdmi?
I guess, the OB won't support this.
1. You need a MHL to HDMI cable: Mobile High-definition Link Cable.
2. OB isn't support.
Mobile devices:
LG Nitro HD mobile phone
LG Optimus LTE mobile phone
HTC Rezound phone
Samsung Galaxy Note phone
Samsung Galaxy S II phone
Samsung Infuse 4G phone (bundled with an MHL to HDMI adapter)
Galaxy Nexus phone
HTC Evo 3D phone
HTC Flyer tablet
HTC Sensation phone
HTC Sensation XE phone
HTC Amaze 4G phone
Meizu MX mobile phone

Hello everybody, im trying to find a way to connect my xbox controler to my lg O2X. I have some questions
Do i need ICS?
Do i need any apk?
What i need to connect the phone with the controller?
How do i connect it?
Thanks and good luck

Afaik for cable version you need kernel support for this which we dont have. Wireless wont work either. Rather buy some cheap wiimote+nunchuck or ps3 dualshock.

Any micro usb to HDMI adapter cable that work?

I've seen some being sold on amazon but a lot of them don't work properly according to reviews. Anyone know if they have used a cable that will definitely let me hook my nexus 7 up to the TV via HDMI?

If you do a search through the various XDA Nexus 7 forums including this one for HDMI or MHL you will see that the Nexus 7 does not support HDMI or MHL.
That said, wait for miracast in the fall, it should solve the mirroring problem, and similar apps should start making the rounds soon.-Ara

Z1 to TV

What's the best solution for connecting your Z1 to a tv? Say I'm at a hotel and want to play a movie I have on my phone on the big screen. That's one example. I have a Sony HX750 and they don't seem to be compatible, unfortunately.
So what's the best way of connecting the Z1 to a tv? I see surprisingly no discussion about this.
IM750?

Any one find a good working Sony Xperia Z1 Micro-USB To HDMI cable?
I've used a original HTC "m490" mhl cable i bought for the hox a couple years back. Works wonders. But I guess anyone would do as long as it's not bought at the dollar store.
