I remember when they switched to this forum format and people were supposed to say what ROM and what Hardware their themes are for...
Well it didn't quite work out that way.. people post the ROM but not the hardware...
Early it was fine .. everyone knew that Cyanogen 4 was G1 MT3G ROM
but with all these new ROMS .. I don't know which one works for the Hero/Droid ERIs NExus one etc...
So can someone give me a breakdown of the ROMS and tell me which one works for what hardware??

Actually this section is for 1st gen devices(G1/MT3G), these themes wont work on other devices with diff res.You need to goto the actual phone section and look at the theme section there, sorry but that's how it is.

Well that's not how it's supposed to be. If this section was for 1st gen devices, it wouldn't be labeled with the generic, "Android Themes", would it? The section you are thinking of is the Themes sub-forum under the G1/Dream Head forum.
Exactly .. why would this forum be for 1st gen devices.. when the devices already have their own forum??
This is a mess... I'm sorry .. I hope the XDA guys clarify the forum format..
We're trying to figure out a resolution. Perhaps we just need to rename this forum to make it clear the the themes are for first generation devices that have HVGA screens. I'll report back after I speak to some mods!

That's great but it still seems like everything is dedicated to G1 and Mytouch 3g aka HTC Magic
This forum is fairly redundant, since most D/S roms support the same themes, but when it started that wasn't really the case and many people were confused as to which themes worked with which roms.
The thing is, now most roms work on both Dream and Sapphire so the logical thing would be to have the Sapphire Themes forum redirect to the Dream Themes forum, and migrate the Android Themes forum to Dream Themes.
Of course the generic Android Themes/Software forum was created before we were sure of how compatible existing (D/S) themes would be with Eris and Hero devices, let alone an N1, etc.
ANYWAYS, until the forums are adjusted, if you have a Dream or Sapphire device, you're in the right place. If you have anything else (Nexus One, Eris, Hero, etc.), go to the respective forums of that particular device.

Can anybody help to mod the IME working fine on the Nexus One. The IME which is extracted from desire with Chinese Input method!

What are you talking about, we can talk about IME's. He is just asking about cIME, can't you download that from the market because it's a google addon?

alot of people have asked what my font is...it's Walkway Sans which I got off one of the Flip Font Packs on the Market...not sure which one....
but this thread has one called Walkway Bold...it's pretty much the same...and a whole bunch of other fonts.... great thread....check it out

Okay, So as some of you may have noticed, Development started off slow for our humble Desire C, it has peaked recently, and has no died down again, i wont be releasing anymore Roms for this device and will end up no longer supporting my Roms or this device! Development is dead!
HOWEVER:
The Device does still have work to be done, and this is a thread to bring each member of the Desire C community together, it should help the device get a little more development (by those who are motivated to do so), come here with all your problems, errors, and SOLOUTIONS for Bugs. Not " can you fix this "
THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ON TOPIC AT ALL TIME!
Okay so now what?
Well, if you are interested on how to develop for this device, but just don't know how, search for a tutorial, and post errors here, team up and create themed roms if you must, but you can't let this little device just die out! If it came to it, the whole community could each come up with a super Rom for the Desire C!

We understand this Speed_bot, however the theme created would then be posted in themes and apps, but progress is progress! And no offence to you @aman23091998 but iv'e already made an Xperia Z Rom so theres no point having two, that's not progress.. And it's a little annoying that, i made cm10 with crt, then you did, iv'e made an Xperia z rom, and now you must? Make something different, in the way of progress?? prehaps your own creation? Or look at other popular roms from other devices and make a port of a decent looking rom? Or find some apks and build your own custom ROM? I'm sure you would get help from the creator of Darkbreed with theming and png editting!
Progress is expansion, new android versions, Different Roms, not variations of one Rom! I think this is one of the reasons development flops on this device!

the base is a rom which i ported then many advance stuff.

Why not try decompiling the systemui.apk and editting EVERYTHING, not just colour but the .pngs, and see what happens, if it turns out good, swap some launchers and mms.apk, and make a themed AOSP Rom

I was wondering if anyone could help me out finding some available ROMs for HTC One X9. Im new to this website. Im really interested in CyanogenMod, is there a build for HTC One X9 from CyanogenMod? Are they even onto creating one?
I thing because of the mediatek there will be no customroms for this device,a customkernel,too!??!But its a nice phone from HTC,is it worth to buy it?I´m using a Note 3,damned good after 3 years now,so how is it,is the X9 much better than a note 3?

This is bad, no support from HTC too , haven't received a single os update on this one and no custom rom available too. Fake promises by HTC . Wasted my money on this one.

So I found the ROM that Chinese guy had made, and I don't see any payment request or something like that; just the need to make an account and have an invitation code to the website. If anyone could post something helpful about it, I and the whole HTC One X9 community would be very thankful
