Guys can you help me how to wipe bat stats on my note1.my battery drains so fast after i flash rom.
That will not help to solve your problem. After every full charge this file got cleared. Wait 2-3 loading cycles or check for wake locks...

I was just curious if the battery stats battery.bin file is deleted after flashing any new rom or kernel? I have done a search and found only this on it...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12355666
I thought it was but after seeing this I'm not completely sure
No, that is not deleted in a flash, thats why it is recommended to flash at full, bump charge after flash, then boot to recovery go to advanced and delete battery stats, there is no confirmation after but don't worry its been wiped. Now go through a couple charge cycles and your battery should settle in and be calibrated correctly.
Thanks I was very curious on this and will go ahead delete the stats
Yesterday I installed the GingerCruzt Rev 7.3 and I really like it. I'm experiencing problems with the battery though. After installation i did a factory and data wipe and a week ago I cleared battery stats . My phone lost more than 20 percent battery over night in airplane mode, no wifi, no bluetooth and i killed tasks.
BTW i us juice defender and autokiller memory.
If anyone has an idea you are welcome
thanks
after install rom u must battery calibration this step will calibrated battery
1.charge to 100%
2.reboot to xrecovery --> advance --> wipe battery stats
3.let the phone fully discharge and wait till 10%
4.charge your phone to 100% without break
5.Reboot

Hi,
I recently flashed my XXLS7 ROM and while doing so, I was asked to wipe battery stats too, after then I see that my battery % is getting reduced drastically and the worst is that whenever I am in normal mode it shows me 75% but after getting into recovery mode it shows 55% or so. Now I am completely confused whether 100% is actually 100% or not. Any ideas on how to get this problem rectified?
Thanks in advance.
may be you need to do a clean install of the rom again.
use format/system and format /data this time

Thanks, I have tried that option too, but still no help..........
Be patient
Mine was discharging like crazy when media scanner was doing its thing -- just keep a charger handy and stick it on when it gets low. Eventually it should sort itself out.
boot into recovery and wipe battery stats again.. then charge the phone to 100 % and test again.
I had this problem in almost every xxls7 ROM... I tried everything, literally EVERTHING.... i made 3 wipes, format preload format system etc etc... Result is DEVICE IDLE eats battery... I CAN NOT figured out which causes this... But finaly, SweetROM solve the problem... I do not know how but it solved... I tried RR3, Alliance and Stock xxls7... All of them causes battery drain for me but i do not know if it is a problem of all... Anyway, just in case you can try Sweet ROM... At least it does not cause drain when you do not use it...
I have this problem too..
Nokia 3210 with PA Utacka
after restarting the phone go to settings>application>all>media storage and stop it.
on every bootup, media storage process consumes %5-10 battery to scan media files.
you can disable it but the gallery wont work.
you can use Quickpic instead.
Hello all
basically i rooted my note GT N-7000, installed philZ cwm6, franco kernal r5, i also installed CM9.1.0 rom... all was fine, i installed gapps, all seemed fine, i dont have a stock 2500mah battery i got a extended 5200mah battery, it lasts all day not 7 hours with the usage i do of my android phone, my battery usually lasts with my extensive usage from est. 7:30am till 10pm with roughly 10-15% remaining but for some reason with these new mods/roms my battery was dead by 2:15pm with the littlest use ive done in a while... i think at max i used 30-45 mins of facebooking.... so i thought it was the ROM, ive downloaded Ultimate n-7000 LT4_JB_4.1.2_v6, but everytime i try to flash this rom it says (BAD) and refuses to let me, im following the same steps as i did with the CM9 i installed.... wipe data/factory reset, cache partition, dalvik, cache, system, data, preload and emmc..... but no prevail??? can somebody help me in some way with this issue please, sorry for the essay but any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you in advance
Try copying the .zip file of the ROM to your phone again or if you downloaded the file on the phone itself, then download the file again. The error BAD you get in the recovery is an indication that the .zip file is damaged. This should solve the problem. And yes some ROMs do give a pathetic battery life and it worsens many a time with custom kernels flashed on the ROM.
Multiple attempts of re downloading the file and still the same result (bad) even tried downloading from various different sources too its OK though in just going to have to learn to live with such a terrible battery life just glad I've got this battery that's twice the size, stock battery would last 6 hours tools this one lasts till I get home from work thankfully that way I can charge again when home

Hello everyone,
I've got a problem with my Mi 8. When I charged battery to 100% then I remove cable from my phone and use it until battery 30%.
So I've to charged again but nothing happened.. it's not charging until I restart the phone, it's will charging again.. and If I want to charge my Mi 8 I must restart once before charge it.
How to solve it and what happened with my phone?
Thanks.
PS. I already update the global rom latest version
Hello i had the same problem, i installed new ROM (factory reset) and this fixed the problem, seems something gets stuck. Got mad that i had to reboot everytime when i wanted to charge phone.
At the beginning everything was stock. After the problem occured i unlocked BL flashed TWRP and then a ROM from mi-globe. This fixed problem for me, since then i never had it again.
Probably batterystats file was broken. Try deleting it. It'll be recreated at 100% charge or at reboot. You can do this on twrp or with different apps.
I agree with @The War Profiteer
Boot to recovery, and use recovery file manager to navigate to Data/system and then scroll down past the folders and delete batterystats.bin file then reboot. Alternately if you have root you can install this app "Battery Calibration" to calibrate your battery.
Afterwards charge your phone to 100%.
