c11 in speaker have mic fail in speaker
Hi I tested cm11 in my s4 active for 2 months; its very stable and fast; but i never used the speaker, but today i put the speaker on and the microphone dont work, i tried make other call, but in speaker the mic dont work. Sorry for my bad english. Thanks

Seems to be a well known problem at some newer builds of different ROMS.

I run this rom as my "toilet device" right now nightly 10.12.2014
And no problems.
Have not tested phone functionality but it works great with video, web surfing and LTS data and wifi.
An issue I have noticed is excessive power-use when syncing (owncloud). might be related to wifi.
I want this room to reach stable badly. Please tell me if there is anything you need.

1: @spegelius has put 6.0.5.0 on his Gdrive. Built Aug 15. Link in OP of CM11 Original Dev. tread. @allram has 6.0.5.1 on his Gdrive. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55589413&postcount=871
Both is OK for clean/dirty flash or backup. Both have Reboot = ShutDown. No big deal, just power on after. External SD exfat support is only 6.0.5.1.
2: Baseband ???
After reading some posts and seen the use of baseband = modem, baseband = bootloader and baseband = LTE modem, also aware that System - About... present this as tag for ....? (not sure which of them)
This is certainly a source of confucion and also probably the reason why some experience loss of WiFi when they have done a Odin flash of LTE modem =NON-HLOS.BIN on wrong bootloader (aboot.mbn, sbl1.mbn, sbl2.mbn, ...) version.
It is NOT reccommended to mix 4.2 bootloader and 4.4 LTE modem.

Please keep in mind that i9295 Active is really similar to i9505 S4 LTE in hardware. Thats why my link in the CM11 thread point to a well visited thread for i9505.
BE AWARE that modem/LTE/bootloader IS NOT interchangeable for the two devices AFAIK.
You _must_ be sure it is for i9295 Active.
If you choose to do it the Odin way with modem.bin, NON-HLOS.bin: first identify your bootloader version in CM Terminal or ADB:
Code:
getprop ro.bootloader
Samsung last 3 letter code naming:
N = year = 2014 (14th letter of alphabet)
E = month of year (May in this case, 5th letter of the alphabet)
x = build # of that month (10th for, "A", as they start 1-9 first, before letters)
NE4 = 2014, May, Build 4 (4.4 KitKat)
NH2 = 2014, Aug, Build 2 (4.4 KitKat)
Generally - if you have working WiFi/GSM/LTE after CM11 flash = no need to fiddle with modems.
The safe way to update is by flashing a complete original Samsung TW ROM for your region/country that has this bootloader-LTEmodem chain setup correctly. When later flashing CM11 nightly, flashing CM11 nightly,... you keep whatever bootloader+GSM modem+LTE modem version you had from first transition to CM11 world. CyanogenMod does'nt touch any of them.

Camera Crashing
Hi All,
anybody else having problems with camera? It's crashing a few seconds after starting camera. Tried 20141019 and 20141016 build. Same Problem. Just tried the google camera from play store. Same problem...

1017 & 1018 or older never crash.
System settings - Apps - Camera:
Force stop + Clear data
This will not delete any pictures /video.
CM11 camera version is 2.0.002, Google camera replace CM11 camera and has a higher version.
There are pending updates for CM11 Camera in next nightly. If Clear data doesn't help do you recognize similar issue fixed as listed in cmxlog web page (change log) ?

Hi and thanks for your help.
I have deinstalled google camera, force stopped camera, cleared data. Still the same problem. When i start camera, the camera opens and starts focusing. During focusing it force closes.

Does the IR suppose to work? Upgraded from a nightly from may 2014 to the nightly 20141024 last night (without wipe). The saved remote in the app ASmart remote doesn't turn my TV on. Anyway to check if IR is supported?

Your i537 has AT&T locked bootloader. This is different from the i9295 and topic of this thread. No known CyanogenMod or AOSP option available for the i537.

This is still my number one issue. Got any ideas?

Does anybody else get a FC when trying to reply/forward to an email in the new Gmail 5.0 (1569867)? The only way I can get it to work is to roll back to Gmail 4.9 (1271612).
Any ideas?

No issues besides known like man. carrier search.
Along with CM11 1105 I did a /system format and flashed updated pa_gapps-modular-pico-4.4.4-20141103. After that I had slow down speed from Store, below 100kb/s usually over Mb/s.
Repair:
Went to apps and deleted data from Google Services, removed Play update, let Play update (pressed Play - About inside Play) =speed restored
Delete data from Google Services won't remove account or contacts

I wiped Google Play services, Google Services Framework, and Gmail data, but still Gmail 5.0 FCs whenever I try to reply to an email. I uninstalled Gmail updates and reinstalled Gmail 4.9 and no problems. I think I'm going to convert it to a user app with TiBu and see if that works. If not I guess I'm wiping the phone and starting over.

Before installing I formatted / system (and caches).
per day use of the phone freezes 2 times. This happens when I actively use it and the screen is on.

do a full wipe and try first rom + slim minimal gapps only. if all is ok, then install your apps and observe further until you find which app is causing problem.

N7000- Keeping losing my IMEI & Serial Number on Upgrade
Friends,
I have a Galaxy Note 1 GT - N7000, currently with Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and Baseband Version ending with DDLS6. I have been trying to upgrade my Note from JB to Kitkat, i have tried approx 10 different types of Well known Custom ROM's each time i upgrade i am unable to detect a network on my phone.
I am able to get a network when i restore the Original Factory ROM, but do not get a signal with the custom ROM's. I have followed all the steps that are mentioned for upgrading to a Custom ROM Each time.
Primary reason i see after the update is being my IMEI and Serial Number gets set to Unknown. What are the possible reasons this is happening? how can i fix this. I really am looking to get to KitKat, but can't due to this persisting issues.

The last assembly for n7000 you did
Changes:
Bluetooth: Revert CM bluetooth changes so that we are now synced with the official SlimKat.
The result came back the old problem with listening to music via a2dp: If you stop playing for a few minutes, then continue, the sound is distorted and interrupted. This is similar to rewind during playback on the old disc player. On October 17, the assembly of this problem is not present.

when you mentioned IMEI problem, it is mostly a RIL issue. this could happen if you change your modem baseband together with the RIL.
on samsung based roms, it is ok to change modem together with the RIL, but on AOSP roms, you need to change modem only without RIL. there are some zip files that contain both ril and modem and there are some that only contains modem. that is what i meant with the modem+RIL.
GetRIL app is the same. you can use this app on samsung roms, but not on AOSP roms because it replaces the RIL.
if you are not changing the modem, then the problem lies somewhere else which i have no idea...

yes, that is the contra of not having cm bt changes. i might consider to put cm changes again.

problem with icon

first of all thank you very much for this rom it's really fast and stable.
I have just a minor concern about icon size.
Can I have the same size with the icon on the lower side of the screen (call, internet, msg, photo, button to show all app) than the rest of the screen. Because I have found how to change the size of the global icon but there is still a difference between these icons size. I prefer to have the same size without changing to another launcher.
If it's not possible I will deal with it it's a minor porblem for me =).

After I updated 11/16 weekly on my note n7000 ( installed in recovery wip cache n dalvik cache ) , i am getting "unfortunately, google play store has stopped working error" whenever i try to open Play store. Solution please......... apart from that this update is really smooth.....

i think it'll be done automatically when flashing gapps...to make sure, you can wipe dalvik and cache after flashing gapps.

Now playstore is not working at all . when i open playstore. it opens n hangs there itself. i flashed minigapps .. cleared cache/ dalvik....

First you will need pocket neo's cm 11 zip. You will have to replace carbon rom's boot.img with the one of your cm 11. With that it can boot but it may experience problems with rotation. I suppose because of the proprietary blobs inside /system/lib/ but I don't really know wich are necessary to change. Probably the ones inside /system/lib/hw but that's something you must test. I don't know if it will experience other bugs related to proprietary files...
Also you may want to edit the build.prop to show the correct device instead of galaxy music. And you may need to change the updater script of the zip inside /META-INF/com/google/android/ and change ivoryss with corsica

No notifications at all? I'm not sure if that could be related to vendor blobs but I don't think so I'm not facing that issue actually. And also I was thinking that if i'm correct, the galaxy pocket neo has a torch, however i disabled the quick panel torch tile and removed the torch app so I think it would be better to compile carbon rom using dhinesh's device tree...
Also sorry for the long time answering, I don't have too much free time on these days

Yeah
And released RC 2 trying to fix too the systemupdateservice wakelock. However I had troubles updating from the previous RC (gapps force closing every second) so anyone that wants to update the RC, you should remove first gapps, then install the RC and reinstall gapps... With a fresh install this issue won't happen

Dual Sim not working!!!!
Tried every method to enable dual sim but not working.
edited the build prop, there is a problem with the RIL.

Hmm then maybe the only rom with dual sim really working is cm 11 I tought it would work on carbon too...

Can anyone please help me? My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Music GT-S6010. I have upgraded it to CM10 JellyBean but when I tap on any random onscreen button, my phone force reboots, before upgrading it to CM10, everything was just fine, but when upgraded to CM10, I cannot press any button as it reboots after that.

Probably you installed the rom over stock 4.0 ICS and you need to install it over stock 4.1 JB

dual sim problem
sir the dual sim works for sometimes but after sometimes it say that sim card not inserted so how to fix it...????

Don't really know how to fix it. My device is the single sim version so anything related to dual sim i can't reproduce it. A logcat could help but i don't think that i'll be able to fix it. Also, does it happen to you in cm 11?

Yeah you can install it ,and make sure that you do a clean install wipe everything except external sd card ...

Line calls doesnt work the same in CM11. I think the same with WhatsApp calls and Messenger calls. This ROM is awesome. It's a shame. I invite you to follow up of the development of this ROM.

HDR in camera not working
Thank you for this wonderful ROM, it's fast, smooth and slim- exactly what I was looking for.
But unfortunately the HDR function will crash the camera app, the same Issue as in the [ROM][TITAN][4.4.4] Cyanogenmod 11 [UNIFIED] .
I came from stock Motorola ROM, went over to MicroKat 1.2 and wanted to test this PA....but Camera crashes when shooting HDR pictures
Anyone else experiences this one?

first of all i wiil give the congratulations for the develomper ,sorry if my english not the best , but i´m from spain and i dont know if i make any mistake , ok now i will say my opinions , the first think wich i saw was one problem with the refresh aspect , i was chating with a frien in whatsapp and when she send a audio message for mi , i download it and when i think that the downloading has finising , i toch the play button and again download , i dont know why but it happen whit otther chats
otther thin , when i touch the power button some times dosent happen nothing , i have to reboot my mobile to can enter again .
Also other problem wich i had was relacionate with te 3g data , some times i had active the conection and nothing happen , and it wasnt a problem with te signal , then in 5 minutes by surprise charge all the messages ,
And the last (what its better to say problem fix or bug? ) which i saw was relacionate with xposed , i use it from long time ago and when i instal on my desvice , also i install gravitybox and i change some aspect like the possition of the clock or the navigation bar style, because i want to put the android l style and when i reboot my mobile nothing , there arent any changes and it happen with other xposed modules ? ( i dont know if it is write well)

What version of Agni can I use for this ROM and where can I download it. I tried to install just the Boeffla app but my phone restarts whenever I try to turn on the Boeffla Settings.

I followed the steps on the first post, used the GAPPS that r0dman posted, but after connecting to my wifi it prompts "Unfortunately, Google Play Services had stopped" then goes back to the wifi selection screen. I cannot get past the setup process.
Can someone please post the version and the link that you had used for GAPPS, I really want to use this ROM.

When i was installing the latest build i came across the same problem.
I have tried several gapps but the only one that worked in my case were gapps-5.1.x-20150404-minimal-edition-signed.zip
With the previous build i had no problems but i felt some lag on the phone. With this latest build/gapps everything works great, super smooth and no lags or crashes.

Try OpenGApps, see my signature.
Full wipe dalvik cache, cache, system and data.
I don't have that Google Play Services problem on my i9305.
Open Gapps are updated almost daily, when there's an update in Google apps.
OpenGApps is up to date, compared to minimal edition GApps which is outdated.
The thing bugging me is the front camera, it's orange in any app.
Is there a fix for the slow shutdown?
I tried most 5.1.1 ROMs but all are slow on boot and shutdown.

I had exactly the same.
Now it is all about, the ROM is amazing !!!
BTW works also on AGNI pureCM kernel
But the thing - it is what helped me:
- installation pure CyanideL (without gapps),
- installation Gapps Banks-dynamic-gapps-5.xx-8-18-15 ,

OpenGApps work fine for me.
I flashed straight after rom, clean flash OpenGApps Pico package.

Is there a way to disable the anti piracy software detection on this ROM? I've tried using Disable Service, but no luck. Thanks.

Build your own rom. More and more roms are adding it so you might as well get used to it. This is something we stand behind completely.

Is AntiPiracy the reason why I can't run Ghostery after installation?
It's available on Play Store and it's not a piracy app at all.
My 64GB microSD Card has a 1MB read speed limit, never goes beyond that on this ROM. It can handle much more. It's formatted to FAT32
Why is that?

Flashlight always turns off after switching off the screen
I often use a torch, and here is IMHO a bug - Flashlight turns off forever and at the same time - about 1 second after switching off the screen, regardless of the "Torch Settings"

I am having trouble getting exposed working though... Says "Xposed is not yet compatible with Android SDK version 22 or your processor architecture (armeable v7a)"?! WTF is that? I had Xposed working on Slimsaber Kitkat on this phone.
Anyone have any idea about that?

Also,
SlimPie seems to be ambiguous. One time it randomly went off on the home screen against all settings that were set. Is it only supposed to come on during lock screen use?

You need to look for xposed for Android 5.1
Search...
Slim GApps are intended for SlimRom, you won't find support for that.
Try TK GApps, Open GApps or BaNkS GApps.

I'm using Cyanide L RC 18.0. The rom is working well, but have a bug with Chrome. Seems I can't play embedded youtube videos in the browser, I have to open the link externally. If I attempt to play them the browser force closes. I have tried turning on Javascript, updating Chrome, deleting cookies and private data and still doesn't seem to work. Also, seems to have the same problem with the Native browser. Anyone have these problems? Is it fixed in Cyanide L RC 19.0?
