I just did some important translation :
1. Install the Windows Insider app on your phone (you will need to have a store account configured)
2. Open Internet Explorer on your phone and navigate to upwp10.chinacloudapp.cn:7777, then a file will be asked for download, accept and run the file to install it. (Why install the file?because the file will change a win8 registry key and set device value to Lumia 636 Hongkong Version , cheating on Microsoft in order to get Win10 technical preview notification)
3. Edit the settings for your phone WiFi connection to turn on the Proxy and set it to use upwp10.chinacloudapp.cn as IP address and enter 7777 for the port
4. Run the Windows Insider app and tap get preview builds
5. You will see Enroll page with two option: Insider Slow (wont work for most of phones) and Insider Fast, Do NOT join any one of them now,(See the picture below,your Enroll page might be in English)

6. Return to your WIFI setting and turn off Proxy (Check your phone's Wifi Proxy setting to make shure it is off, because some phone reconnect Proxy automatically )
7. Go back to windows insider by using Back button of your Winphone, and be aware it is the last time for you to make decision whether or not update Win10. You never know what happen after......... Good luck!
Make sure your phone has at least 275M system free space(main OS partition), not your phone's disk free space.
BTW, I am using Unlocked BLU Win HD with duel sim supported function. I decided not to update win 10. Even i have seen the update notification page already.
I went through all the 65 pages of Chinese forum, and got some helpful news:
1 DO NOT try it if you DO NOT have a Nokia phone, some people said win10 works on HTC8X, 8XT though (Nokia Apps can even be installed after win10 update on these HTC devices!!!).
Because if something unexpected happen, Microsoft recovery tools may not work for your phone.
2 Make sure your phone is at the latest 8.1 version, or not earlier than 8.10.xxxxx.341.
3 Lowest c: space of successful case is about 275 MB. Lower space can cause 80188308 error
4 When windows insider alerts "error", try to reinstall the file of upwp10.chinacloudapp.cn:7777
5 C: space is different even for the same device, all depend on carriers and original device region. Win 10 works on some of Lumia 520, but will not work for the others.
6 Successful case: Lumia 920 Hongkong version and at&t version, Lumia 920T; Lumia 638, Lumia 925 Mainland China version, Lumia 820, Lumia 1520, Lumia 822, Lumia 928, Lumia 620, Lumia 930, Lumia 830, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020 At&t version, Lumia 625H,Lumia 638, Lumia 920
7 If error c00cee3a/ 80190194 shows up, check and turn off proxy and try again.
8 Failed case: Samsung i8750 , Samsung ativ s, Lumia 530..
Update:
If you downloaded the above online file before 2015-02-15 and want to change your device name back to nornal, you have to reset or reflashing your phone.
If you installed the file after 2015-02-15 and win10 did not come to your phone somehow, you can set WIFI proxy as mentioned before, then go to Windows insider, there is an option "restore, Default, Reset or initialize",some words like that.
It reboot after all these steps, but there are no updates, any idea? Lumia 925.

Edit: it fails to install, I guess sys partition too small.
After the reboot, you just have to go look for a normal update into settings, phone update.

I tried, but no luck. Even when i look in windows insider app in about it says Preview builds: Insider Fast, and i have enough free space, but it wont find updateds

The same issue with my 8x, Sys room just around 230MB and it requires more than 275MB to install w10 successfully :3

One more hint: after reboot , try disable first windows insider preview, then look for normal update. if it does not work, then
According to original Chinese forum, because of so many variety of Lumia version and carriers’ Rom, Win10 update would not be guarantied for all of Lumia 925 .
A few people said there is only 226M space available on Lumia 925 Hongkong Version or 925T, that is why nothing would happen after reboot. disable insider preview and look for normal update.
But Lumia 925 Mainland China version did works with Win10 update!
If you really want a try, go backup and reset the phone before you start. Correction, DO NOT reset your phone, otherwise, your Windows Insider will be crashed! Then You have to reflashing your device!

According to original Chinese forum, 300 MB are not mandatory, but it is suggested.
Otherwise, so many people will see 80188308 error after, or will not find any update info.
Reset the phone sometimes will get a larger C: space, if really want to try Win10 but short of space.

Successfully download update and extracted but once when upgrade start there is error. I cannot remember is it 80188308 but assuming that sys partition is small.
I'm already perform full reset but sys partition is still around 200 Mb.

Sorry, Microsoft recovery tool 1.0.4 might only designed for Nokia phone at the moment. Or
Try unplug your phone and click on My phone was not detected as microsoft suggested and then select your device. or when you plug your phone, push at the same time volume down , camera and power key 10 second, after vibration, release power key
You can try HTC flash software as well. Maybe it works.
I am not a Pro at all, but in the troulesshooting log file below, i do only see: 'www.caresuite.nokia.com'.

6. Asian support.zip. For Chinese and Japanese support if you don't want to deal w/ UC. Extract to yr ppc and open it w/ file explorer.
7. Other SIP for CE star: Japanese, Zhuyin注音 ,ChangJei, pinyin

As for the following requests for this in or that, we always have the same debate on every forum whenever there is any ROM.
The only solution that will please (nearly) everyone is to have a vanilla ROM with cabs for people to choose what they want in.

in linux I use pofs lrk - linux rom kitchen, it works reawelly well
As I replied in the rom thread, Rom Kitchen for touch pro work perfectly in extract the rom. But you need some changes in the parameters in order to repack the rom.
how can dump the rom for backup first?
The ROM sounds great! Any chance you will do the same with a german ROM? Even with the Links / Hints you provided I think I can't do that myself yet, even though I will try to learn... when I get some free time...

TRICKS :
i've been make a riset, and found a solution for going faster Xperoid :
1. try decrease application install in folder androidapps
2. using wifi when you we're needed. if not try to turn off.
if you're running this build for the first time, Android looks heavy and slow running, just be patient let android finish all process. and then push the red button on the panel to shutdown (after that softreset of course).
next android will go fast.

How to update kernel
download latest kernel from Download Kernel Build part and rename to zImage. and then copy zImage into sdcard if already exists kernel replace it. (backup your old kernel, is good. in case something happen you don't want it ).
example :
zImage-build20100126 -> zImage
How to running this thing :
1. hit "haret", and then your screen will show a millions text after that you will see an boot animation.
2. just wait 5 - 10 minutes. (to long for waiting)
3. after you will see setup wizard appear.
4. if got some error message pop up just hit "wait"

Hi, I'm om T-Mobile NL and after android is booted and I try to enter my pin it does not recognise it. Did not try to enter PUK from android, did that from WinMo.
Any ideas on whats going on here?

Nice progress, especially the new 2.0.1 version. Making receiving a call is not a problem using the slide to answer/reject as well as hardware send and end buttons. GPRS/HSPA data works nice on Rogers network in Canada too. WiFi works as well (tested on WPA2 network).
However the thing feels like lacking memory BIG time. Looks like it constantly swaps to mem card. If you get more than one app running, things get really slow. Slow to a point you can't do anything anymore. X1 has a not bad amount of RAM, wondering if OS can run from RAM somehow..

All junks will be remove for the lite rom. And eventually comes w/ a super full rom w/ Chinese support. It may contains lots of software you may not need. Just take the lite rom, OR remove the shortcut and pretend they are not there for the full rom

Installation (**UC start automatically in first boot**):

Use RUU tools or Micro-SD method written by me
Optional: Download my UC package, extract that to the root on yr SD card (can be the same card for flashing yr X1)

For all WM rom, SIP change may become slow after lots of software installed. Here is the solution that works by re-import the CLSID in registry. (Backup first!!!)

There was a person on youtube replied me back. He said Xperia x1 and x2 will be supported Wm7.. and i was like you must be mistaken. WM7 requires higher specs and xperia is gonna be = wm7? does anyone knows if this is true? He even said it's on official SE website and i went there, i couldn't find any. Please reply back if anyone knows about this.

It so good to see your new post. Waiting for your new rom. Any X2 utilities in this rom?
Just to clarify, it's going to be WM6.5.1 (21889) with Manila 2.5 (non landscape, having a hard time to get the landscape version working correctly. But is working on that).
None of X2 will be integrate (except some drivers) since all X2 stuff I see so far are either ugly, buggy, or useless. But of course, you are free to use the package on my rom.
Roms are ready but take me some time to upload and finish up the SDconfig (UC) package. (UC are automatic again in the first boot for all versions).

OK! You've proceeded the installation process successfully.
How to execute:
ATTENTION: this can be harmful. Be careful to provide the exact path of your theme.
1) Double click the VBS file
2) When asked, provide the zip archive file of your theme.
At the end of the cleaning process, the tool (7zip actually) will generate a report regarding that execution into its same directory. It is just a text file and contain all the statistics of the Thumbs.db detected and deleted.

As those horrible files are automatically created by Windows when you browse your images, it's advisable to run this tool whenever you are getting to release the theme, just before zipping.

I've been experiencing the same reception for the matter as you've did.
Unfortunately I've could determine that YES ... it's a big deal!
See what I've found out there:
ZIP size: 220 Mb
Extracted: 251 Mb
Thumbs.db: 165 files accounting for 168 Mb [ 67% ] !!!!!!

This is ridiculous. And the themer was unaware that they are there. Yes! they are still there because yours exact description of the authors behaviour is what almost all of them has.
EDIT: WROST! All these junk are being flashed into users devices that are too unaware of what is happening.

i see and read that thread.
when i write "no big deal", I mean no big deal if i delete all files by my self...up to 100mb.
now i don't remember what's that theme, but when i see the final result i rest like this

When you do not select a ZIP file the following window will open:
If the ZIP is informed correctly and there is no evidence of junk inside, you will receive the following message:

It's my mistake. It's having trouble with paths that contain spaces or special chars.
As you may know its 03:00AM here and WE are not so young.

HA HA...Dont be worry friend... I just want to see how the smart tool work.
In this case I use the theme of my friend @aki-saar which I almost sure he use your tool to kill the junks already ( from his post on top of this page)
Your tool work correctly and say congratulation to me (sure it should be clean lol) . Only the log have error as you found .
I concern about you more than these junk files...If you sleep on 3 am every night please beware... your body growth will be disturbed and your height will be stop...Warning from DOC.:silly:

The problem (I've left inside) was that the script could not deal with Long Path Names.

Sure @aki-saar's theme is DETHUMBED ... He is one of the few aware of the matter AND have 'balls' to look after his own work with the necessary competence.
But I could not find his theme releasing post ... Where do we can delight our eyes with ?
