I honestly take no credit for this Rom at all although I would like to give a big shout out & Thanks to everyone at XDA, Cyangenmod, and MIUI Dev team.
I, nor ANYONE else is responsible for what MAY happen to you and your phone, or anyone else and their phone.
So by moving forward to downloading you understand the risks of flashing a new ROM, and understand it's NOT anyone
else's fault except yours. . . No one put a gun to your head and said hey download and flash this now!

Installation Instructions. . .
Reboot into Recovery
Do a Nandroid Backup (optional)
[U][SIZE="3"]-[B]Wipe data/factory reset[/B]
-[B]Wipe cache partition/dalvik cashed[/B]
-[B]Go into Mounts & Storage and Format /system[/B][/SIZE][/U]
-Install the ROM
-reboot (as always first boot takes a bit longer)
-let sit for a few minutes
-reboot
-set up as you like
-reboot and enjoy
The Rom comes with Devil3_1.2.1_JellyBean kernel, but of course flash what ever JellyBean kernel your heart desire.

1. GPS May be shot, let me know and I'll attempt to fix
2. Low memory space in /Data? Use an app to put your apps in the /system/app folder or use to app2sd
3. BLN doesn't work properly. [FIX? Disable Screen on in sms settings]
4. EFS (IMEI ERROR EVERY BOOT) [FIX? Unknown at this time]
5. Play Store Error: (app name) could not be downloaded due to an error; error retrieving information from server [RPC:AEC:0]
5a. Fix? Remove Google account and re-login .

Yeah, see what had happen was when i first started porting it it was just for personal use so i did everything more of to my liking but I'd be happy to change things up and add/remove things. It's two things you can do as of now dealing with the DPI.
One: Download Build.prop editor from Google play, and change the DPI to 240 yourself. build.prop Editor by Nathan Campos
Two: Wait for the next update which will come with more options

I am not positive if it'll work, It does have the options but I have no way for sure to test it.

My comfort level of DPI is "182" as you can see in the 2nd post screenshots.
that picture in the first post is from en.miui.com it self.

Alright, I'm currently trying to update to 2.9.21 once successful I plan on releasing on the 28th or before. I have a working port, but I'm having the very amusing CM9+ IMEI problem.

Not sure if you or Jrongi use different sources, but restoring my desktop layout gets me a FC every single time, and we all know how much of a pain it is to setup the homescreen.
Also, stuff like the "hidden proximity" feature seem to not be present (when your proximity is hidden, like if its in your pocket, it won't let you do anything until its unhidden)

Yeah, J did his own thing, & his was ICS. and I'm not to sure on the restoring desktop layout problem, I'll look into that as well as the "Hidden Proximity", I do know it works during calls tho.

Not the ICS one.
He has a JB one as well, but is most likely going to drop support for it.

I'm guessing its because he uses miuiandroid, while you use miui.us
and I guess there are differences.

noooo, we used the same source on this current build, my next one is going to be miui.us unless i can get miuiandroid to work without bootloop, so you shouldn't be having a problem with 2.9.4 .

I looked at the Rom very closely and saw that you've even downloaded my apps from our Upadteme and! Now than your factory angibts Not only that you have even update_me.xml Compline, copied upadtme_check.xml? This Rom is made ​​of 99% a Team Custom Rom, the only ws you have a few pics are purely given! Sorry that is not okay by you! Please tell me what this is,is this a JOKE ?!

On another hand you shouldn't bother to much about download links. they´re dead for at least 2/3 days
EDIT: did you both and all 500 devs/mods ask Samsung if you can mod there original roms??? Just a thought...

point is he ask to use the base but he has copied everything cust0mworx has put time and effort tweaking rud has put time in in the ota then for someone to copie it its not allowed on xda if samsung did not make crap firmware we would not need to make rom's

and if samsung really make "crap firmware" as you thought, why bother and buy crappy phones?

Every phone has crappy firmwares. there made for everyone use. think this: if they sold 1 million phones maybe (and just maybe) 5% came here at xda or other forums to mod and increase(?) performance.

I believe it is because of not being s-off, I remember this from the evo lte but I was s-off so never needed to do it.
Viper rom isn't like that because it's the way he has it setup when flashing, but I could be wrong.

Sorry if i did a bad instructions installation.
I have a hox, i m not s off... So I never flashed a rom like soff way... If u can install the rom without flashing the boot.img, just do it and report back, so, if you succeed, i will add two versions.
Also let me know if all sprint devices are soff.

Using a tweak...its initial release, so my first goal is to find a good battery life and good perfomance... as i dont have the phone, i will be updating the ROM acorrding to feedback. Thats why also there is no mod, i like to go slow but steady. Sometimes we add all together, then it is a pain to set down the ROM.
In my sign you can see my work.
If someone want to join my team, will be a great help, also Rom will improve faster

I ve got a Pm that Rom is not booting, so please, give me time to fix updater script. As you may know, its normal to face kitchen bugs when playing with a new device, but nothing to worry.
Once i fix the bug will state in Op.

place it in Rom zip ( doble click to zip)
Go to META-INF/com/google/android folder
Delete original one and put new one.
then flash the rom as usually, dont forget to make a nandroid backup first.

This ROM was source built using my own custom device tree, but failed so i ported it using Nikhils as a base, so i'm not sure whether this counts as port or source build but i'm counting it as a source build :3

- Clean Wipe
- Flash ROM
- Flash Kernel
- Reboot
- Enable then Disable ADB
- Re-Root
- Enable and Disable and check SD is recognized

yeah, whats so hard to understand about that? the Rom isnt pre-rooted, so you have to re-root your phone or use it without root

Root using Superboot but when it gets to " Starting apps " do a bat pull and restart then it will be fine

hey guys, i steel have a problem with superuser i have done everything thats says about the reroot, i have root acces on the terminal emulator when i'm typing (su) but i can't get the root acces on the file manager, so i can't fix the "app not instaled" eny help please

[Sprint/Virgin Mobile] [Kernel] Stock Desire 510 [Write Protection Removed]

Hello everyone,
Today we just got something super cool, a custom kernel for our desire 510. Its only working on vm and sprint models but basically this is just a stock kernel for now with no goodies other than write protect being removed.
[Disclaimer]​I'm not responsible for anything that happens as a result of this pending flash. Do not cry to me if your phone goes up in flames or if your wife leaves you due to you being addicted to your phone.​ ​
I take no credit for the actual kernel build or anything like that. All credit goes to rbheromax. The kernel is currently being edited and uploaded. ETA is about an hour or so.
Instructions:
Pull the battery and put it back in then press and hold vol - and pwr.
When in hboot navigate to the fastboot option and click the pwr button.
When in fastboot connect your phone and on your pc press and hold shift and right click your downloads folder. Then click open command prompt here.
Next type fastboot flash boot b.img and tap enter.
Done!!!

already have recovery, root, superuser, busybox installed... Followed instructions and worked like a charm, Already deleting bloatware as we speak... Now to figure out which HTC bull**** is safe to remove..

Since BOOST is via Sprint can anyone confirm success with BOOST?

Ill put in the description its only for the US version of the Desire 510 so no one makes the mistake of flashing this kernel on the wrong device.

A few things you CAN remove are the voicemail app, Mobile ID, Htc Mobile Guide, KeyVPN, Lumen Toolbar, Polaris Office and i believe thats all. Im not to sure about the qualcomm app. I would keep it just to be safe.

Apps I have removed without issues.
I actually uninstalled the qulacomm app and phone still works just fine. I also removed, HTC guide, HTC gallery, HTC dot view, HTC service pack, HTC blink feed, Messaging Plus, Lumen Toolbar, Stock internet browser, Anything involving google besides framework and play store (redownloaded apps to let them be a user app to move to SD card.)... A few others I can't remember as well, But what is interesting is that after removing all of that bloat... I really don't have that much internal space available still.......... Getting sick of phones with storage issues.. A smartphone can only be as smart as the apps installed on it.. But yet after my crucial 25 apps I have no storage space to install anything else. :/

Its alright . And if you can download the eu source and build the stock kernel sure. If you dont know how to you might have to wait till someone picks up the eu model and makes a custom kernel for that your model. I dont currently have that model. Let me ask my buddy if he can build you a stock eu kernel.
