This is also for apps. I believe a widget could also be defined as an app. What are you the forum police? I'm well aware what section of the forum I'm in.

Wow so yeah this forum is if you have a wider or app others can download not talk about so you are wrong. Then ur other post belongs in the general cause you just say hi look at me I bought a phone. If you would of posted this in the q&a then maybe you would of gotten some help or even a Dev to let you know if it was possible. Now you just gonna run at the mouth and people report this thread to the mods so they move it to proper location. Show respect to others and you get it back . the guy above me has been around way way before you so he might know a bit more. Just saying.

Well im looking at all these different home screens and i like alot of them but i dont kno how to put it on my phone. I Also do not understand how to add these new updates to my phone...

You are in the right place to learn about your new phone. FYI, though... asking questions like this makes people angry. When you registered on this site, I am almost certain you got an introduction of some sort asking you to read a LOT before asking questions like this. Do some searches, and you will find an abundance of information, and the people to help you.... but only once you get yourself started.

What I mean is, I flashed KingKlick's Espresso rom (v1.3 I think) and the Home page had a sweet flip-clock with a weather app embedded just below it. I ended up flashing to SuperCSD later because I didn't like that the keyboard light wasn't functioning, no BT, opening keyboard on Home shutdown phone for 2 or 3 minutes...etc. I really like the color scheme and the QUICKNESS of SuperCSD, and I'm sticking with it, but unfortunately the widgets are few and lacking. Any ideas on how I can get the .adk or .akp or whatever files for some of the nicer widgets in other ROMS?

Tried it. Couldn't get it to do anything though. When I press it it doesn't tell me anything. Other than that, unless its just me, I would suggest making it into a widget. If it were a clock widget that you could press to hear the time (for those sunny days where its hard to see the screen) then it would actually be a pretty handy app for this and other phones with smaller low resolution screens.

That's what the search button is for. And believe me if Google mentioned anything, anything at all about the next android version, XDA would be the last place where it would be needed to be "up-to-date"

I can only see the general search for the whole forum. Man, this material look forums are adopting are so fugly. No texture, no lines, just pure fugly. Harder to navigate also. It's not a matter of me not liking change, it's just ugly. Why do forums have this need to do this? I don't even come here anymore since the changes.
Anyway, is "Advanced search" the only way to search the forum you are actually in now??

Nope. When you click in the "Search..." text input box, there is a dropdown list right below it, where you can define the scope of your search, i.e. where you want the search to happen. Just select "This forum" in there and the search will lookup your keyword(s) in the forum you are in. See the screenshot below for reference:
