[Q] HTC Incredible s - RUU update success but unable to get through htc logo

I downloaded the below RUU update for my incredible s
[RUU] [ROM] VIVO SENSE 3.0 & Android 2.3.5 for Asia
RUU update was successful but after reboot it is stuck at htc logo screen.
able to hboot but cant do recovery and factory reset.
Desperately in need of help. plzzzzzz

Sometimes it takes two attempt to flash properly.. run the ruu again in pc.. and extract the rom.zip from temp folder in pc.. it will be in c drive-your user name-appdata-local-temp and search rom.zip.. rename it to PG32IMG.ZIP make sure its not PG32IMG.ZIP.ZIP .. place it to root of your SD card and go to bootloder menu the phone will search for the file and it will install again.. if it doesn't work make a goldcard and try it will work for sure...

I tried to flash again as you suggested. After update is success, reboots but it is still stuck at htc logo screen. Waited for 40 min.
Regarding making a goldcard,
i am new to this stuff, plz guide on how to do that : )

Bootloader unlocked? What's your hboot version currently?

I also have this problem. I flashed the above RUU, now it is stuck at HTC white logo. I am S-OFF, Revolutionary. I am missing my HTC incredible S for over 24 hours. Please help. I tried looking into the user folder at windows c: but i dont find the rom.zip.

is it possible to flash with lower version? ex: 2.3 (i read somewhere that revolutionary prevents HBOOT overwrite that's why it is stuck at white logo). If possible, how will it be able to put it in the SD card? (i have no card reader). thanks.

I had this same problem but there is no need to worry. Check out this thread n follow what tpbklake says to the t and everything will be alright. Hope this helps

Thanks for your help -- you're the man. Got it running! Now, i want to update to sense 3.0 anyway to update with the revolutionary HBOOT?
to extract .zip - i used - htcsensationforum.com/htc-sensation-rooting/how-to-extract-rom-zip-from-ruu/

Good to know!! now you are all set to try out different roms. Always backup your current rom and wipe cache and dalvik b4 flashing a new one..... I use rom manager to install em.

after s-off my vivid keeps rebooting please help

I successfully s-off my vivid, now i keep bootlooping, cwm will not load

can you get into hboot/fastboot? if you can then use the HTC Vivid All-In-One Toolkit to flash a recovery (cwm)
if that doesnt work the use the HTC Vivid All-In-One Toolkit to relock the bootloader (assuming its unlocked)
once bootloader is relocked flash the HTC AT&T Stock ICS RUU in order to flash the ruu you must first download it on a pc, make sure you have htc drivers-then run the ruu like you would any other pc program...it will walk you through the rest of the way...if for some reason you cant download the ruu from the link above, i got the link from here http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-vivid-att/software-updates
let me know if any of that worked and/or didnt work...

i ran the ruu, rooted again and i am still s-off, can u tell me how to proceed

Ruu won't remove s-off...just wanted to see if that would fix the reboot issue...here was a thread a while back on how to go back to s-on...ill try and find it for you

I have the same issue, but with option S-ON. Today I UNLOCKED bootloader with HTC Vivid All-In-One Toolkit and bi-mistake I flashed NEW ROM from SD card...then it started rebooting all the time. What should I do to get my OS back on my Vivid. Please help...

[Q] UnBrick Htc One Help

Help me i tried to install android 4.4 htc sense 5.5 on my htc one but it stopped the phone working . Now it wont reload and gets stuck on the green htc logo on start up. i cant get into recovery and my phone is a unlocked htc. Please help:crying:

Give more info!
Post the output of fastboot getvar all minus IMEI/sn.
Is your bootloader locked or unlocked?
what did you flashed to your phone? Ruu, custom rom? (link)
what recovery version are you using?

[Q] HTC One stucked in Recovery mode, Help?

Hi, I have two HTC one stucked in Recovery Mode.
The first one is the M7 International Version:
This one is S-On, Clockwork recovery.
On this one I was trying to upgrade to the 4.4.2 version and it didnt went trough.
The second one is the M7 Sprint:
This one is S-On, TWRP Recovery
On this one I was trying to install the Revolution Rom in order to being able to gain S-Off with Firewater.
Please help me, Im stucked with this problem.

HTC M7_Lu boot loop stuck on HTC LOGO :/

i have a prob with my HTC M7 it's stuck on the boot logo ( HTC ) & stay like this
any solution plz i tray the adb update via COMMAND but it's always show me error :/
i already download lollipop of my M7 but i don't know how could i solve this prob ...
my htc M7 it's unlocked but s-ON !!? and i can acc to the recovery menu
note : i have the same prob with my htc PG88100 ...

Your phone has to be completely Stock to install the update

i solve the M7 by using USB-OTG
i just have prob with the htc desire S PG88100 :/
S-ON & locked !! i find solution 2 eneter 2 the recovery i put the rom on the sd-card but i get this error whene i tray 2 instal zip from sdcard :​
error e can't open /cache/recovery/command​

Glad to know your M7 is fixed. For assistance with your Desire S, please post in this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-desire-s/help
Btw I'm sure everyone helping you would appreciate if you can stop using big characters when posting, much easier to read when everything is kept by default. Even the moderator edited your first post...
