[Updated-8/6/11] Htc Incredible S android 2.3.3 Gingerbread Update & ROM links[Must]

据国外媒体报道，今天英国运营商沃达丰已在其官方论坛发布了Desire HD的Android 2.3更新固件，沃达丰用户可以通过手机进行更新。
与此同时，HTC公布欧洲地区的Desire HD和Incredible S用户也可升级Android 2.3的消息。用户可以通过OTA无线更新的方式来升级至Android 2.3系统。而在此前，一些欧洲的用户已经收到了升级的通知。
据悉HTC称原本打算同时放出Desire HD、Incredible S、Desire Z的更新，但由于屏幕尺寸原因，导致了Desire Z的Android 2.3还在测试中，该机最迟将于6月末更新到Android 2.3。
According to foreign media reports, today, Vodafone UK has released its official forum of the Android 2.3 Desire HD firmware update, Vodafone users can update via mobile phone.
At the same time, HTC announced the European region and Incredible S Desire HD users can upgrade Android 2.3 . Users can update via OTA wireless way to upgrade to the Android 2.3 system. Prior to this, a number of European users have already received the upgrade notice.
It is reported that HTC had originally planned to simultaneously release said Desire HD, Incredible S, Desire Z's update, but due to space reasons, led to the Desire Z's Android 2.3 in beta, the end of the aircraft no later than 6 update to the Android 2.3.

no need to off with all these versions...with s on working perfect...i'm S-on with my vivo....and better to use one S on device for now and use 2.3.3 official rom...coz people are quietly using sense roms these days...just wait until root is finished.and if you are s off..then for now it gives a work but later there wont be any good use of it...be official...keep your S on.
with these rom just use a gold card and its really easy ...

make gold card...put into phone..then simply run RUU to upgrade your rom(run as administrator-windows 7)
Hi guys- I've been reading that Android ver.4.3 was relased last night via OTA but if we are rooted we cant get it. is there a way to upggrade install it while still being rooted? i current have TWRP ver. 2.5.0.0.

Even if it did, which I'm pretty sure it didn't, you wouldn't be able to receive it with unlocked bootloader.

I think OP already realized his mistake, he was just telling us which article he was referring to.
Man, if Sprint used the exact same hardware as the GSM Ones, I would be soooo happy.
Do ya think we're any closer to that? No that I'm going to stay with Sprint or anything hehe.
You can run android 4.3 by flashing CM 10.2. Been running it for a few days. Works great.

Hi! I am using an unlocked HTC one (Sprint unlocked) which was purchased in the US. I reside in India and am unable to get OTA update for Kit Kat on my phone. Kindly suggest as to what I should do and how I can get it updated.

you must be fully stock for any official updates to work, recovery, rom, app's the lot.

Should of never bought the dual SIM unit. They usually always get dropped for support and never have development.. you should of bought 901e/901s

First install stock recovery then reset your phone if dont work then flash stock recovery then flash boot.IMG
