Is it possible to uninstall busybox from my device?
I have installed it, run some of the scripts but as I've noticed it had stopped Xposed to work, I closed those scripts.
But now I think that busybox is blocking my Moto voice app, so I wanna uninstall it. Does anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks in advance.

i couldnt install apps like "Gtalk service" or "Live wallpapers picker" in CKDroid
or some start up apps in different ROMs?
how can i uninstall them? ...any uninstaller with root permission?
You need to use adb and uninstall them via command line using the "rm" command.
and you need to know what you are doing. removing gtalkservice will break the market (and probably other things).

hi, quick question.
i originally installed busybox via busybox installer in /system/xbin
then, because openVPN requires busybox installed in /system/bin, i did that too.
now busybox installer tells me that i have more than one copy of busybox installed (surprise), but doesn't tell me whether that is good or bad. i also do not see any detrimental effects at this moment.
so should i just keep it like it is?
if i should uninstall one busybox, how should i do this?
thanks
have u tried busybox (installer) from market, think it will give u option to uninstall if it finds several copies..

it doesn't
it says it will remove existing versions, but i guess only if you overwrite (means, install over previous version in same folder.
i have it in two folders /system/bin and /system/xbin
should be easy to delete it manually from xbin, i have only to files there
ipctool & vfp-crasher
reboot

but i dont think it matters, i had several busybox files as well, decided to remove all except in /bin folder..

I'm wondering if anyone know of a sort of whitelist when it comes to uninstalling system apps?
I'm running a stock 2.2 Android with root access and would like to uninstall all those pesky stock system apps that come with the Samsung rom. AllShare, Aldivo, Mini Diary, google maps, layar, latitude and so on.
I can uninstall them with Uninstaller for Root for example, but I'm sure some of these might generate errors if you just remove them.

Without any errors?
I can uninstall _all_ apps already, but I'm unsure if doing this will generate any unwanted errors.
