I have Ubuntu , and everything so far , but I just don't know how to get rid of this awful mode .
It happened when my Battery run out of power, the phone turned off, i tried to turn it on the next day , and I was unable to.
so Basically , let's summarize everything :
-HTC sensation XL
-QHSUsb_Dload mode
-I have Ubuntu
-I tried everything on unlimited.io (like PblClear.sh , it can't find my device)
Come On People , I know someone knows the solution

[Q] Sensation XE Reboots after installing ARHD6.2.1

Hello Admins and people .. I am new here ..
Firstly I have a HTC Sensation XE .. But there is no phone category of XE so I am posting in XL ...
Here's the situation ..
I rooted my phone , installed CWM ... did everything , i successfully upgraded to the custom rom , Now when i start the phone .. First HTC Screen appears , then android appears ,then it restarts and again android appears ,i managed to get my phone back into the stock firmware ..but i really want the update, how much time does it usually take for the first boot?
What is it that I am doing wrong.. Help would be appreciated
Forget me if I'm wrong, but the Sensation XE is essentially the same as the regular sensation. You might be better off asking on that forum.

Juopunutbear S-Off Bootloop Raider / Holiday / Vivid / Velocity - NOT BRICKED!

Hey guys, quite honestly this is just a post-mortem help I felt I would want to chime in with. I just had almost a heart attack last night thinking I bricked my HTC Raider 4G / HTC Holiday / HTC Vivid / HTC Velocity 4G - Whatever you want to call it, it's the same phone. BTW, the captcha on this site and the discrimination towards new users is borderline a war crime
I want to ensure you that if you followed the whole Juopunutbear S-off bootloop / ControlBear method - your phone is NOT BRICKED. Mine wasn't, and I almost gave up on it last night. I ended up trading my HTC Raider 4G with someone for a Samsung Galaxy S III, but I wanted to touch base and just give you a heads up as to what I did (as best my memory serves me).
My situation was as follows:
1) I used the whole S-Off Toolkit By Hasoon2000 - and actually got S-Off (Security Off)
2) I followed to a tee, with all of it's "beer" references and did the whole "wire-trick" see picture below, I had to pull out my lab lamp light to see it and was getting more and more angry as the evening progressed.
3) My phone was stuck in the Juopunutbear S-Off Bootloop (or Boot Loop as some put it)
4) I could get the phone into Recovery/Fastboot (whatever you want to call it.)
Here is what I did to fix it:
1) Get yourself your OEM RUU (This is the Original Equipment Manufacturer Rom Update Utility), I hate acronyms so I will clarify as I go. You can download these at the following link (If you come back to this page a year from now and the links are broken, Google them by the exact file name, I am certain someone out there will keep backups forever. The link below surely has your carrier, e.g. Telstra etc. Follow the instructions and download your RUU for your carrier:
http://www.filefactory.com/f/002b74e0f4775869/
2) Pull the battery out of your HTC Raider / Holiday / Vivid / Velocity
3) Re-insert the battery into the phone
4) Press the volume down button + power and hold until the "Bootloader" or "Recovery" or "HBoot" or "Fastboot" screen comes up - many names for it.
5) Once the screen has come up, click on Fastboot and connect it to your computer. If it detects your computer it will say "Fastboot USB", this is good and it will look like the image at the bottom.
6) Once the phone is connected, run the specific file name for your phone based on carrier from point number 1.
7) Leave the phone plugged in and running, and it will basically flash the phone back to OEM - at least this way you can have a useable phone and will allow you to retreat/regroup and fight another day.
Fastboot USB Photo - Get your phone to look like this by going through the menus, it won't take more than 10 seconds

My Lab Setup - With The "Wire Trick" + Lamp and me getting more and more pissed off.

I hope this helps, I was quite honestly pulling my hair out trying to find out more information/help but it was just almost impossible to find for this phone - I think the reduced user base is partially to blame for this. My previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy S I9000 and I had absolutely no issues with support. I've learned my lesson and devices to back out, I now have a nice Samsung Galaxy S 3. If you need anything - I think you can PM me. P.S. I ran both Virtuous Inquisition ROM as well as Wajee's 1.5 and they were ok - Wajee was a bit better.
Thanks for that. S-OFF seems scary for many, and I'm sure a lot of people got stuck on the whole juopunutbear splash screen (including myself on my 1st attempt S-OFF!)

well the htc soft ware said error, i dont recall the error code #, i did have it in fastboot usb, also after it failed, i unplugged the data cable and on the fastboot usb menu it said(i think)
security "something" fail
and
rom"something" fail (in red letters)
im super lost and im doing everything as you mentioned. also once i reboot, the phn just boots into that flash light and phn. if its ok i would like to record a shot vid of what my phn does and send it to you, because when im in the fastboot usb menu the phn starts running some cheks and stuff on its own and THEN it lets me choose what i want to do(reboot, fastboot, etc.)
thank you so much for your help!!!!!!!

You can go to the HTCDEV.com site and download the last official ICS RUU for the IncS and see if you can execute and run that to bring your phone back to life.

Can you post a screen shot of your bootloader (HBOOT) screen? Do you have the original box the phone came in? If so, can you post the Model ID?

[Q] help!! ***stuck in recovery entry screen***

HI Guys,
Im facing a problem with mobile(HTC one) which unknowingly came into hands of one of my friend. Seeing the problem he gave it to me and I am shocked to see the problem.
The problem is phone doesn't boots and it goes straight into recovery mode when power button is pressed. The big problem is its not giving me recovery options but it shows some sort of loading bar with an unpacking logo and that's it nothing happens anymore. If I switch it on with powerON+ volume down button, it goes to factory mode and there it has no options regarding cache wipe or recovery.. I can see only some inbuilt tests such as wifi, bluetooth, headset, camera etc...
So, What I can understand is someone tried to install custom ROM without doing s-off or enabling USB debugging. In tht stuck recovery screen, ADB in my PC is unable to detect the device (or) my HTC drivers are not good but I tried ADB reboot using various HTC drivers from sync to BMP but of no use. Please see the attached ZIP file which contains all the pics of the phone with screens
Coming to phone specs, it looks and feels like Original HTC ONE dual sim phone which was launched in Asian sub continent by HTC. It has 1600 mAh battery which is something weird as minimum battery is 2300mAh in present HTC One phones.
So, what can be done on this phone to make it useful? Can I flash a kernel and install custom ROM? If possible, what are the steps?? Pls, help me here...

The word One on the front and the bootloader screen and the battery all add up to Fake. Software in these forums will not help you

MY PHONE KEEPS ON GOING IN BOOTLOADER MODE WHENEVER I PLUG IN MY CHARGER

MY PHONE IS A HTC DESIRE 626, I wanted to install a custom recovery but I downloaded the TWRP image for HTC DESIRE 626s instead of 626 only so it didn't work but I had it flashed already that could have caused my problems but I'm not sure. I tried turning off OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging in the Developer Options but it still didn't help and now the phone is CHARGING SUPER SLOW. it cannot increase from 3 %
*PLEASE ANYONE WHO IS SEEING THIS HELP ME MAN I WOULD REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE IT*
I was thinking of trying to uninstall the custom recovery image I flashed but i don't know-how
please, anyone, I know only a few shall see this but if you are one of them please help me man if you know how to get me out of this nightmare. you'll be such a hero
