Can Galaxy Ace 5830 be upgraded to Android 4 (ICS)
Please help me.

No! But custom ROMs are always there for you. Maclaw's CM9 is based on original ICS.

It can be. But Samsung won't provide it. Maclaw had made a CM9(ICS) build which works perfectly 95% but flashing it will void your warranty!

Go to the Dev section, look for [ICS] tags in the threads.
Currently the camera does not work on any ics builds, this may be fixed in the future. If you do decide to flash make sure you read the instructions on how to flash in the rom thread.
Samsung will never provide an official ics.

Where have you been bro? Lagloose and some members (i think) of galaxyICS team already made a patch for cam. although it has no preview. And OP, official ICS, NO Unofficial ICS, WIP already, almost perfect

I do apologise, not been active as Samsung have had my ace for almost 2 months for repair!

Cm9 camera has gotten preview too!

it can b upgraded via cm9 as said b4 ....but since u ahve bought your phone recently u may want to check the model no ... the roms here are mainly for GT S5830 not its variants like GT S5830i ....if your phone is GT S5830i then the roms wont work for you

most of the galaxy mini devs have moved to ICS or JB based roms, or are looking at Galaxy mini 2. So I don't think that your request will be accepted. This rom seems to be a derivative of MIUI and CM7 so you might want to look at some other rom and use a theme on top of it.

hmm...but this is based on a chinese rom and its different from miui...
though i ported it but m stuck on android logo and i just need some help.!!:good::fingers-crossed:

Hello, can you help me with something? I searched over the internet in order to find any roms for galaxy mini plus device, but all I can find was 2 roms ( jellyblast and repencis ). Does anymore exists? A cyanogenmod ported or something else?

So here using them and adding some improvements such as custom kernel and some script, you'll have the best possible experience playing games

If you have Ace II, then wrong section mate. This is Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 Q/A section. You can check for custom kernel and scripts in your device's Development section. Here is the link,

Also don't install anything from here or from any thread that is not intended for your device as it could hard-brick your phone. Hope I Helped

How can I port a samsung rom (touchwiz) from galaxy Y s5360 to galaxy ACE s5830???
The 2 devices have different hardware and has different screen densities.
dont tell me to go search for guides, all the guides I found only work with phones with SAME resolution, chipset or aosp roms.

however, options 1,2,3 requires same resolution and #4 is for aosp only.
meanwhile, im trying to give this automated rom porter a shot.
