SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam works together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
SlimLP is currently in alpha/beta stage, some custom features are already in place, but much much more is planned for the future.

SlimLP is the project name for SlimRoms based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and offers the following original features:

Can somebody answer me, what the difference between this, Paranoid or any other 5.0.x android versions..? I mean, the main thing haven't changed, so what's the point to flash this ROM instead of using default and full stock?

1. Unlock bootloader (backup whole internal/external sd + TA-partition to your pc, because unlocking wipes all)
2. Put files on your phone, then flash random custom kernel like Hodorkernel
3. Now you boot in recovery and full wipe flash rom, gapps and maybe supersu (not sure if the rom is prerooted)
4. Reboot & enjoy

Welcome to VanirAOSP.
Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.

Sorry, You know me, as a basic user I always tried do something useful in community, but now my Mom is going to use my phone for 5-6 monthes. Also I have to study for university entrance exams so I can't do much here. I'm afraid.
@all : I've tested previous build, not the latest one. It booted fine, but orientation sensors was not working. @AndroidNoob69 told me he fixed this issue in latest build.
Also there was no sdcard bug (In Vanir KK, internal sd had write problems)
So don't worry about bricking your phone, If you want this project alive, please test latest build and report.

Did you fastboot my boot.img?

yes, flashed it before from vanir's zip.

Wait for the next build, might be a recovery issue. At the moment if you want to flash it, fastboot another lollipop ROM boot.img (e.g. cm12) and flash this ROM.

I don't see any issues after using this rom for a day.But the main disadvantage is I can't root my phone.I tried to flash supersu binary update but my phone stuck on boot logo.But I need root so I return to my RR marshmallow.I hoped to use this rom from now on but i'll have to wait when root support in Nougat version.Anyway this the stable alpha build yet.Anyone can use this rom as there daily drive.Though I'm eagerly waiting for resurrection remix Nougat version.Thank you so much for your hard work Chippa-a

I don't see any issues after using this rom for 2 day..battery good when wipe cache & davilk cache after flash this rom..but not as good as 6.0.. great this rom

You need to unlock bootloader first to use this rom.You only need TWRP recovery to flash this rom.

adaptive brightness and auto-rotate screen not working.. @Chippa_a

Good day can be done under the Xperia zl??

Installed and seems perfect! Any error till now. Camera works and takes photos. Only camcorder, doesn't fc but the videos captured doesnt play on mxplayer. And autorotate is not functioning sometimes.
Inability to root for now is the worst thing about this imo.
Btw, Awesome work bro! I'm using my XZR as spare phone, i can be a beta tester for you.

And installed the Rom seems to work well not found errors only to forced close in cmserviceaudio all this with gapps nano else thing that in the camera is not shown complete the image is as if it had two small frames yet it seems fluid and customizable.

camera force close when enabling power shutter on.

I have installed this ROM from 2 days and no random reboots faced.

Nice ROM (–with Gapps pico) [emoji106]
Using it now for one day.
It has plenty of juice in battery.
I had some minor issues. The sound recorder hanged after changing a setting. Also camera stopped after some chance in settings. I use fort now OpenCamera without problems. Videorecorder at HD - good
But maybe the reason is that i didn't wipe data when i installed ROM. [emoji16]
Overall it has plenty of customizations- options. That was a search sometimes.
You can compare it with Orion-OS-mm.
This ROM is fast, it reacts good.

Look after the battery it drains very fast.
Although this ROM is fast and pretty much stable for use.

my mi a1 non-trebble and i installed it, fine. but i cant install gapp
it will wipe userdata, backup it first

This is an AIO (all in one) rom it includes the vendor, boot and GSI image. As always wipe everything, install the zip, reboot recovery to change partion (A->B), now you can install gapps, magisk, kernels, etc. and reboot to system.

now we have more treble ROM for our devices

this ROM is a gem. Got no issues so far. GPS even work fine. Overall a nice user experience. There is a minor issue with the GPS icon. Once activated it never leaves the status bar, even when you switch off location.

agree to this, especially in customization one

The default whole icon shape is square, how to change it? But not just change in the launcher

There is option If in the launcher itself. Long press the launcher and you will have the option there.
