Hey guys, I am in need of changing the DPI of a single app. I am running Terminus with a screen DPI of 532. My problem is one app gets distorted. See the screenshot. Is there a way I change the one app? I know there was when I was running PACman rom on my sgs3 (it was built into the rom).
Thanks in advance.

There is probably a module available in Xposed that does what you're asking for.

I had a feeling someone was gonna say that. The problem is, most roms and kernels frown upon the use of it. So I am trying to stay away from Xposed. Ran it on my s3, so I know about it...... :-/

Ya, I am sure I can still use it, and while I was installing the .arm file for Xposed, I thought about using chrome and creating a link, which is basically why that app does. It just makes it easier to log in while driving (at red lights of course!).

Hi all,
Curious to know if anyone has the Sense 5.0 camera apk and if it'll work with CM 10.1... I love having stock Android but the camera is well not so good. Probably not even possible without having Sense but though it'd be worth a shot.

Like you said, it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot, but I doubt that it will work. Probably framework-dependent, or something else that requires sense.

This has been asked many times. The answer is no. If you would have searched first you would have known that already.

A coworker of mine has this issue with their phone. (Please see screenshot). I'm able to connect it through ADB and its drivers and everything are running properly. I'm just not sure how to fix the screen defect, as I can't even see what's on the screen itself. She said it was in her pocket, and she then pulled it out to make a call, and the screen was like that. Its running cm10.1 with the speedmod-kernel. Has anyone seen anything like this, and what's the best way to fix it? Thx in advance for the help!

This kind of messy screen is usually associated with wrong bootloaders, but in this case I believe it's a hardware problem.

I initially thought it was bootloader related, but when I flashed CM10.1 to it, I made sure that it was the right one. I think it's hardware related myself, but didn't wanna rule out a software fix, if there is one lurking somewhere beyond my mental capacities.

Saw something similar in the at&t gs3 forums but it was a blue line and it was vertical not horizontal. flash back to stock and see if that resolves the issue. If that doesn't resolve the problem then its obviously hardware issue.

No need to say thanks friend, the thanks button goes along way. You should post back your results in case others run into the same problem. Good luck.

Well after fiddling with software, I've concluded that the hardware is the culprit. After asking my coworker if she'd dropped the device, she said yes, but didn't think it fell that far or that hard. Thx for everyone's help/input!
Mods pls close thread. Thx!

I have a nexus 6. Its in stock not rooted either. Its strangely weird because I have a tons of app. Including one of them is trusted face, which don't make sense because I don't have face unlock. I feel like I'm getting monitored all the time too.

In settings>apps>all running apps. I even have a google apps device policy appp. When I don't even work or belong to any organization or what not
And I have 2 Phone app. 1.28mb and 728kb and there's this app called LifetimeData
Those are just system apps, nothing to worry about.

I think there's more to it. Coz whenever I go to chrome then incognito. It even says that I'm not invisible to my employer, organization, internet provider or websites that I visit.
That's how Incognito works. it just prevents the browser from keeping tracking cookies. The network owner can still watch your traffic. It's the same when using Incognito on your computer.

If you are unrooted I would factory reset and once it boots back up enable security pin and pin on boot up. Should keep you protected from any malware. Also if he or she ( no judgment ) turns off your phone to reboot it you will know.

Same here, it seems the servers are down, unable to download xposed as well
rovo89 said:
The repository (repo.xposed.info) is currently down because my provider is temporarily moving it to a different server. They said the load is too high, but unfortunately failed to provide any details so far. It's also been six hours since they have started the move, no idea why it's taking that long and when it will be finished.
Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do at the moment, so please be patient.

Hmm... I wonder if Niantic has something to do with this due to all the Pokémon Go hacks... (Might as well start the conspiracy theories...)
This being a server issue makes it even worse. If the server is deleted or broken xposed has to start over.

That's not true at all. If he doesn't have a server backup, he would be an AWFUL admin. Assuming he has a backup (which, given he's obviously a smart cookie for coming up with xposed, is nearly 100%), it'd be trivial to migrate it to a new server.

The funny thing is that I just rooted my phone and got xposed.
And now I'm here like waiting for a fix that's actually really we to fix in 16-48 hours.
Yea I just installed xposed.. installed two modules and now waiting for other ones..lol I thought it was odd that I was browsing through hundreds of them, then I go and check later and it says nothing... I said crap hope it's not down and found this thread... hoping it pops back up shortly.
I really want the add away for youtube and in general.

i found a temporary workaround to getting and installing the modules. Download XDA Labs and install modules through the labs app
Not necessary, repo is back up

Of course I'm rooted. I'm running a custom ROM, custom kernel, etc. No Xposed though. Do I need to download a weather provider from the play store for it to work? Does it basically read whatever your weather provider informs you?
