So I just got a Nexus One and I was hoping to download a stock ROM for each Android version it went through. So I went to http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Passion%20(Nexus%20One) but I cant figure out what the names mean. Can anyone help out with this?
I what I need is pretty much which is the ROM (most updated version) with Android 2.1, 2.2 etc.
try here

Hello,
can i upragde only the radio fw version ?some people are reporting better battery life with the new baseband fw. And if so, can i flash back the old "downrev" fw back, if i had problems ?
From :
Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31.zip - OLD, standard in 2.1 Roms
to
Radio_13.53.55.24H_3.35.19.25.zip - NEW in Chinise Froyo 2
I currently have the unrbanded wwe version 1.25.405.1 installed.
This is something I too would be interested to know. I have tried to do some serching but this is the first case I can find regarding the new 2.2 radio from the chinese rom.
I am currently on Puzzlerom 7.3
Once the v8 rom / v8.0.1 is stable I will go to that. Unless we have ourselfs a 2.2 froyo rom out before that. As I use my phone in a variety of ways and in multipule situations, I cant go without it for very long. 2 hrs at a time max.
Hope to be able to test things though ^_^
Peace
Just Made the update trough recovery .now iam running at the 2.1 Rom with the new radio firmware active from the new android 2.2 chinese rom. Actually I see no problems at all

All components are working fine (gsm/umts,wlan,gps and bluetooth).
Only the frst Time GPS FIX takes a bit longer after update.
Also, the battery life seems to be a bit longer and the handy seems
to be more stable during calls with active data connections.
I'd like to use the plain old update, but the assert is failing on googlevoice.apk... I was one of the unfortunate souls who had their Google Voice disappear after the 2.3.3 update, so I had to slap some version I found on the net in there.
If anyone could upload the stock nexus one 2.3.3 (not 2.3.4!) googlevoice.apk, that'd be swell!
EDIT: Never mind, realized I could get it out of a stock nexus one GRI40 ROM, which I have... here's hoping.
I have a rooted Sprint HTC Hero with Fresh 2.4 flashed and ever since I flashed the ROM I have had major market issues. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a patch or market upgrade to fix this problem. I've been researching for a week and finally decided to post about it.
is there reason why ur using fresh rom? If not, I'd suggest using the updated roms such as (jaybobs, cm7, sense 2.3.3)
As for your question, what kind of problem?
A while back I rooted my G1 which was running 1.6 and I successfully rooted and installed cyanogenmod. I wasn't impressed with the battery life so I decided to switch roms. I did something wrong and my phone pretty much reverted back to unrooted Android stock 1.0. That was a while back and I have been pretty much hanging with it since. I could do generic things such as send and receive calls, send text messages, play music off sd, etc., but I'm tempted to find a way to root my phone again and with a diff rom. Is there a way to do this with android version 1.0? Can I also do this without a data plan and just wifi?
Here are the specs for my G1 if anything:
Firmware Version: 1.0
Baseband Version: 62.33.20.08H_1.22.12.29
Kernel Version: 2.6.25-01843-gfea26b0 [email protected] #6
Build number: kila-user 1.0 TC4-RC29 115247 ota-rel-keys, release keys
forget it. I got cyanogenmod up and running. Close thread.
Before this is closed, try out the Froyo for Trout rom. Its stable, and faster than CM. Really recommend this.
Anything will be better off than CM (that from my experieces) But the new CM (XDA Mod) is promissing.
@ TheIneffable - I would suggest (if you still wants to use CM) to look at [ROM] NameLessFroyo (CyanogenMod variant) by NLJ or [ROM][2.3.7 GB][18.10.11] BananaBread v1.2 DS +cMTD(Based on CM 7.1) by banana4444.
But if you would like to try other ROM, I suggest [Rom][2.2.2 AOSP] DREAMteam Froyo v1.9 "I'm hungry...." by DreamTeam (AKA:Green ROM Projects) or FroyoMelt (see my sig for link) also by DreamTeam (with Customization by ldrifta).

i also have problem rooting T-mobile htc G1 with android 1.0
i downgrade it to unlock from data plan and to be able to use on my network , but now i cant wind file manager to install for this android,
also all tutorials that i find about root are incomplete because all download links for files are dead
this is probably a stupid question, but i found no answer to it and i am very new to this
for the context, i had some old phone that was running on android gingerbread 2.3.6 for a while
i discovered a few days ago that it was actually possible to change the version so i could actually use it for stuff (since 2.3.6 is pretty old, almost no apps are compatible)
so after quite an adventure, i managed to get android nougat on it. the rom looks fine so far, except for some bits in spanish but they don't bother me.
i went and tried to install some apps but they were still incompatible, i checked the version in the settings and it was still in 2.3.6
shouldn't it be 7.0 or something like that?
for info the rom is "nougat ME V3.1", the kernel is CM7 v3.0 and i rooted it prior to installing the rom.
