I have yesterdays OmniRom nightly on Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300
i tried share contact card and I noticed that sharing via Messaging/MMS is missing
Is it by default or is something wrong with my phone?

Maybe I have not got any answer to this simple question because I am not making myself clear
I said 'missing' because I was using Samsung TouchWiz (stock rom) and it has this feature
I am new to OmniRom, and I was trying to share / send contact card it hit me that there is no option for sending it via Messaging app
now I wonder if developers did not put this feature on this rom or maybe I ****ed up something during flush and this is my phone only situation
Maybe someone could try share contact card and see whether there is option to share it via messaging app

Since the the X8 and the X10 are not very far off I thought I would try but none of that worked, does anyone have a clue of how to display MY image/avatar in messages, I did all the steps that I could from that post and nothing.

FYI. It's not really important i just like to see a good image through my sms conversations.
Just save your own number to your contacts then add a picture to it then your picture will show up in conversions

No buddy I did that just like that post said to and no good.
So I've added my own number to the contacts.
I checked other options and still nowhere to be found.
what else can possible be a solution? any other thoughts, anyone?
EDIT: Nevermind people thanks for the help, didn't realize that a lot of changes can be done after you restart your phone. got my image in the avatar working great. just having my own number in the contacts helped.
Try go sms pro sir. It is much better than stock sms. I even remove the stock from my phone.

Not a bad point, how can I remove the stock I already have Handcent on mine and its way cooler with lots of mods, but it keeps interfering with my stock when i receive i have to be checking on both to remove notifications.
I would also like to remove, MAPS, Market, Gmail (Things that I can't use since I'm outside of the US and no internet connection unless WI-FI)

I upgraded to 4.0.3 last Saturday after which the Phone and Contacts Icon at the Bottom disappeared.
I can't add it from App Menu too as it seems the application itself has been removed somehow.
I don't see them in the list of Application installed in ALL Tab.
Please help me restore it.
Any help is appreciated.

I was able to get these back after going to a Samsung Service Center and updating/installing the firmware afresh.
I lost all Data. Had taken a backup of important files before going for it.
Do take a Backup of all your Contacts, and Files.
You can use kies which is available for Windows.
I used various Contacts and Dialer App till the time it was resolved.

Hi guys. Im one of the devs who make RCB and CM. We recently released an update that was supposed to fix issues blocking and otherwise managing calls on the newer xperia phones.
However im getting conflicting feedback. Please be so kind as to download the apps and test their blocking functionality by doing the following:
1. Add another mobile number to a blocking list
2. Call yourself from that number, write down result
3. SMS yourself from that number, write down result
Post here or find the settings item (its the same in both apps) that says "Write to us" and send logs with a description like "XDA XPERIA TEST". Be sure to say what actually happened.
We had to fix this issue using decompiled firmware so theres no guarantee. And of course theres some people saying it was fixed and some saying it wasnt. Some say that its been fixed in JB but is now broken in ICS, so mention what version of android youre running.

I can only write the same as in call master thread, I have Xperia V, currently on JB 4.2.1, CM 10.1, both call master and rcb works for me without any problems, i do not have reflashed stock today, but yesterday call master was ok on LT25i_9.0.1.D.0.10 firmware

It all depends on what kind of settings youre using. Also, it depends if youve recently been viewing logs but its not a lot. On my phone right now with about 30 managed contacts its using 18 MB. But actual use is probably 10 or so, depending on things like the size of your logs, the pages in the app you have recently opened and so on.
Remember, every activity you dont close will be cached by android, so if you for example keep entering the app then pressing home you will be adding a little. Do it 5 times and there will be a bit more. But this is cache, not memory use.
The automatic memory manager will flush caches if it needs more memory - if it has lots, apps will keep adding to the caches forever. Its unfortunate that many people have no idea how this works, they just assume that its a problem.

When i used Gingerbread it worked perfectly.
But after upgrade to ICS 4.0.4, sms blocked well, call does not blocked at all.

Can anybody help me to find a stock rom orx- I9295XXUAMJ1. I am having problem with in call sound. I cannot hear the other party and nor the other party can hear me.I can only make calls via third party apps (viber, skype...)or via bluetooth head set. I have tried lot of hints that I found on various forums and I have also tried couple of rom's but nothing seems to solve this issue I have decided to ask for warranty repair.

I'm new to the rooting and rom debugging process, therefor I need a hand from you.
I've installed an Omnirom on my Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 and I have a little issue.
Whenever I restart the phone and send a text message, I have an android message saying the Phone App stopped working.
While the text message goes through to the contact I send it to, it still bothers me a bit.
Do you know of a way to check the logs for this issue ? Which logs should I watch ?

And there's another issue: If I want to use the sharpen/soft editing inside the gallery, the Editor closes as well.

Indeed, I had not noticed that since I never used the option. I can look into that as well if someone helps me identify the logs.
