Unsync your Google account from the phone, wipe your Wallet app data and then re-add your Google account to see if that fixes the issue.

[Q] Contact does not exist?

Just got my Droid Turbo Sunday after having a Moto X 2013. On my Moto X the Owner toggle had my Name and photo from my Google + account info. I've logged into Google + on my new phone but the toggle still says Owner with a blank photo icon. Pressing it takes me to a blank ME profile in people. I have a contact for myself already in my phone, carried over for years from phone to phone via Google and Exchange.
Is there a way to set this up using the Google+ profile or point it to my existing contact? Not a big deal to do so, just curious if I was overlooking something.
Thanks.

ok go into the google plus app, top right 3 dots click and go to settings. click on your email address under account settings
. click on contacts. Uncheck them both and check them back up.
then go back one page and then go to profile uncheck the views and check it again. reboot. See if that works.

Not worth it for that minor problem. I'll just setup the me account or leave it blank. Not sure what point it is without full multiuser support.
a FDR does not work. I did a FDR two days ago and it says owner now . Before I did a FDR i had to setup the owner contact manually as it never linked my google plus photo like my S4 did. To setup your Owner photo and info go to people app>touch search (bottom left)>Setup profile

chrome browser sign in

Anyone having issues signing into chrome?
Try downloading chrome beta or another version of chrome others then the one you have installed.
Open and it will ask for you to sign in to sync bookmarks etc.
Whenever I click sign in it brings me to the Google account log on screen and never signs into my existing account already on my device.
I tried to enter my credentials but says that account is already on my device. I have yet to be able to sign into chrome with my Google account.
Anyone else able to replicate this? Or have a solution?
I have tried removing my Google account from the device and adding thru chrome but nothing will let chrome sign in
Thoughts?
Yeah. Clear app data from chrome and then give it Contacts permission. Then go back in and it will work.

i got locked out of my google account because Google Authenticator

So i was using Pure Nexus rom 7.0 for my nexus 6. And i was using 2 step verification with sms option.
But because i was logging in a lot out of my PC and didn't receive the sms codes sometimes, i decided to try Google Authenticator app. Biggest nightmare of my life.
I disabled the sms option to try make the app the default way for using 2 step verification.
Then a Pure Nexus Nougat 7.1.1 rom came out and i wiped everything, without making a nandroid backup (yes i know, so stupid of me).
When i wanted to logged in to my account it asked for a code from Google Authenticator app which is not installed in my phone so i had no way to log in.
I had to ask from help from Google which is apparently has the worst costumer services i have ever seen. I filled the account recovery form which asks me when i created my google account(like i would ever remember) and then i ask me to provide all the details i can.
This week my 5th request to recovery for the account was rejected. Sadly, i get an auto email from google telling me that they couldn't verify i'm the rightful owner. They asked me for more details, but wont tell what details that could be. i have no idea what can i do to prove then im the owner.
What a disappointment from google that i cant even attach photos to the request and that all they do is to tell me to provide more details with an auto message, with no guidance.
Oh, and btw i posted in the google nexus forum and was told the exact same thing as the auto -reply email.
Anyone here had he's account recovered and can tell what detail to provide?
Isn't there an option to get the authentication code via SMS?

Yep. I used it more times than I want to count, in trying to resolve OK Google issues on Pure Nexus.
You can still choose to obtain SMS with verification code which will be automagically pasted in appropriate field.
Just look around your UI before lashing out.
i have one Nexus 6 with NBD91P build which is locked with google account (FRP),
i tried almost everything in order to bypass it, but nothing worked for me till now,
dirty-c0w exploit doesn't work also,
any ideas ?

Yeah. Get ahold of the account owner. There are some tut around on how to get past it, You will need an otg flash drive to do it. I know it works as I had to do it to a few devices this weekend and it worked on all of them without fail. Completely bypassed all security.

There should be a link that says something like "Having trouble?" below the field where you would enter the authenticator code. Tap that and you will get a list of options, one of which is to verify via text message.
Getting such a text does not change defaults.

Just to cover one more possibility that you haven't mentioned, did you not print the 10 authentication codes that you can use for exactly your situation?
Failing that, maybe zelendel can give you some advice on the procedure he mentioned above?
Edit: on rereading the thread, maybe I'm getting confused because mirosaw2 has posted a question which seems to be related to his device, not his account, and therefore (if I'm correct) should not have been posted in this thread because it's a different question and zelendel's answer doesn't apply to the OP's problem.
Here is the link to the tut that I used. It worked across a few devices.

There are two different discussions going on. However, you are correct in that he should have the emergency codes. If he doesn't, he should be able to get them easily enough.

well it looks like you'll just have to contact google and let them help you.
@Strephon Alkhalikoi
"he should be able to get them easily enough"
But if he hasn't got access to his account, and Google are playing hardball, how can he get the codes now?
By signing in on his PC. Unless he didn't click the box near where it says "Don't ask again on this computer" on the Google sign-in screen, he won't need an authentication code to access his account. Other devices and services requiring access to Google still need to go through the authenticator.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the problem. I understand that the OP doesn't have access to his Google account at all, therefore he can't validate his phone, but also can't sign into Google on his PC. Maybe he can clarify that for me?

To that to the 4 nexus devices I had to do it this weekend to bypass FRP as well as a couple of Galaxy devices.

He set up the Google Authenticator on his N6 because of his frequently accessing his Google account on the PC. Apparently he disabled SMS retrieval in his account, and then wiped his device. Now when he tries to activate the account on the N6 he can't because the account requires an authentication token. Google cannot verify that he is who he says he is and thus will not give him a code.
Unless he set up his PC to automatically authenticate his account upon login, he won't be able to authenticate his account. That means he's locked out of everything and will have to make a new account. He'll also have to find a way to bypass FRP on the N6, as he'll get locked out trying to activate.

I don't have that problem except ok Google when screen is locked, have you granted all permissions in the permissions app and auto start the apps.
For Google contacts, you can download https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.contacts&hl=en
Try this

Downloading now thanks

Ya, that's what we're saying in the GOOGLE OK not working thread. but hey, you got contacts working. that was driving me nuts for a long while.
Oh, also depending on which messaging app you use, I use hangouts, the person that's "related" to a phone number may not update even if you have that person's phone number in contacts. It's a painful way to fix it, if you have lots of this happening, but it's quick enough. lmk if you want that.
