Hi,
so I rooted my phone, unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP, put in 3 different ROMs on my External SD card, went ahead, deleted EVERYTHING from the phone, tried flashing ROMs, not a single one worked.
I rebooted the phone because I saw no other option, TWRP said that there is no OS, I went ahead and did it.
Now the phone won't start, I tried returning it to stock firmware as per lg-phones website guide (worked before, though my phone was not this messed up, I could access download mode and now I can't), but I keep getting connection problems. I have tried doing this with the phone just "turned on", it hangs on LG logo for infinity.
When I try putting the phone in download mode, the only thing I get is fastboot. When I try to use adb devices and other similar commands, it says device not found or simply does not list it, regardless of the "mode" the phone is in. However if I try and use LAF RECOVERY MULTITOOL, it detects my phone and I can use fastboot commands. I have custom recovery, boot and laf imgs on my PC, I tried flashing them all, PC and phone tell me everything's ok, but when I restart the phone, I get nothing... what am I doing wrong, and can this be fixed? If you have any questions, I'll answer to the best of my ability.
Thanks in advance!
SOLVED!!!!
Just found a backup laf.img that enables download mode... PHEW!

Hello,
I just got the HTC One today, and installed CyanogenMod. There were problems with some key-features, so I decided to just stick with the stock rom. Unfortunetely, when I tried to re-install the stock rom, everything ****ed up, to say at least. So with the help of TWRP I wiped the SD-card, but I think something went wrong in the process, because the phone kept restarting only making it to the logo of TWRP. (Then, I tried to do an adb sideload, but I was told that no devices was found. Fastboot sees my HTC One, but ADB doesn't. Also, I am not able to transfer anything to the SD-card, as it is not showing up when I connect my phone to the computer. Now I am just stuck at the bootloader, with access to TWRP. The bootloader says TAMPERED and UNLOCKED.
I have been using the AIO-kit so do most of the unlocking.
How do I get my phone back to stock rom?
Or, how do I make ADB reconize my device?
Okay everything started when i wanted to go back to stock after having installed CyanogenMod 12 on my VS980. Everything went well with the install but when i finally wanted to go back, i couldnt enter download mode, instead i would get fastboot mode. I looked into that and people said i only had to replace files like Laf.img, boot.img, and aboot.img through command prompt. When i did this and rebooted the phone, the lg logo came out saying "Security Error" and then bootloops. I can enter Twrp Recovery with ease but i cant go into fastboot nor Download Mode. When i connect to the computer while in Twrp though, my computer picks it up as VS980 but says it was not installed correctly. I dont know what happened and im confused on whether is Soft- Bricked or Hard- Bricked. If anyone could help me with this problem please i have a Windows computer btw, not linux, im not sure if i need a linus for this fix though
Just putting out there, everywhere i look, people always send me here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
This just doesnt work for me since i cant enter download mode.
All help is appreciated and thank you in advance.
which TWRP version do you have?
the most simple solution if you have TWRP working is to flash a rom via OTG
I'm in the same boat man. I can get into TWRP 2.8.0.1 and download mode, but I can not get my drivers to install correctly. I have the drivers in a file. I've pointed my computer at that file, rebooted computer, changed usb cables, tried sideload feature in TWRP, tried the LG flash tool. Nothing helps. God I'm so dumb for erasing internal storage. I'm so used to having an sd card and was just thinking, don't erase sd card and you're good. I rushed through it and f'd up really good.
Errors
adb devices-doesn't list device just blank space
sideload or push just yields a list of all the commands, but nothing else
when I plug phone in to computer-drivers not installed correctly. 'MTP USB failed'
flashtool-'failed previous load'
sideload function of TWRP-It just tries to load forever
terminal in TWRP-I ran a command, but then it says you are not rooted install supersu. Not matter what I choose it reboots and sticks at 'LG' screen.
My drivers worked before I wiped internal storage, so I know it's my phone. Drivers just worked to transfer xdabbeb's 2.3 over 3 minutes before I shyt the bed with it.
Hi guys. I've had my HTC one for a while now and it had TWRP flashed on it. About a week ago I flashed the android revolution rom, worked well but my camera went really weird if I looked back at some recordings. So I wanted to revert back to stock everything. I flashed a stock recovery for the M7, after that I had the problem of not being able to connect my device to the computer when I fastboot mode. Simply wouldn't pick it up when I typed ADB devices in cmd. My device wouldn't show up after installing stock recovery. And it doesn't want to restore any roms either in stock recovery mode. I can't even access my folders in that mode to flash any roms. I click either apply from sd card, apply from phone storage. Says for a split second check CID failed or something and reboots itself.
I cannot flash TWRP back cause my computer since it can't pick it up. I've tried everything. Changing USB ports, uninstalling my drives for htc. Changing computers, unlocking, relocking bootloader. No result. I'm screwed cause I'm stuck on this android revolution rom, rooted. Just wanna flash custom recovery. I can connect it to my computer, access folders and add things to it but soon as I turn it off and go into fastboot mode it says fastboot usb and can hear the noise when its connected but it doesn't show up in adb devices and when I flash the TWRP it starts send then comes up with FAILED. Help please, would be appreciated!

Adb only works if you'te booted to OS or custom recovery. Command you're looking for in bootloader menu is "fastboot devices"
Fala Puno. Ja sam raditi sada. I'm of Croatian decent in Australia. I'll try this later when I return home
Fixed it! I'm an idiot, I didn't realise I was flashing the m8 twrp instead of m7. That's why it failed. Lol. Anyway thanks
Hello everyone, it's my first time writing here, but I’ve tried everything, searched everywhere, and am desperate for help.
I screwed up big time while trying to flash a custom rom on my nem-l21, as I successfully did before with my xiaomi... So what I did:
I managed to unlock bootloader with dc unlocker. Then I got stucked flashing twrp with adb tools. Everything was looking to be fine, no error messages, “flashing successful”… But, I was never able to boot into flashed twrp. Always got stuck on “your phone has been unlocked blah blah. Your device is booting.” It never booted, not in twrp, nor in stock recovery. I tried different versions of twrp from different sources, always same result (flashing successful, booting into recovery not). Booting into the system was fine. And then I made that horrible mistake. Oh, how I wish I didn’t!!
I read on some website, that you are supposed to flash the twrp as boot.img, not as recovery.img. Seemed illogical and stupid to me, but in the end I tried it. Of course, this just bricked my phone, with no possibility to boot. After hours of googling, installing, trying and crying, I managed in the end to flash back stock boot.img. But at that time, I didn’t know my build number (b359), and I flashed boot.img b351. So now I have a phone which boots into the system b359 with boot.img b351, but with lot of errors.
- developer options, security options, display and factory reset option doesn’t work and just crashes. Therefore I am not able to flash the correct boot.img b359 or anything else at all from pc, no way to enable usb debugging and oem unlocking. Adb devices → nothing. I am able to use fastboot (fastboot devices sees the phone), but when try to flash something, I get error “command not allowed”. Also I can’t enable unknown sources installation, which bothers me a lot. And I can’t make factory reset to restore the crashing settings. Also I can’t change display timeout, and original 30 secs is super annoying.
- I am not able to uninstall even apps installed by me, always just restarts system UI and app stays.
What I tried so far:
- flashing correct boot.img from pc, not working because of dev options crashing
- go into recovery, but stock one is overwritten with unfunctioning twrp, always just get stuck on “your phone was unlocked blah blah… your device is booting now”, but it never does, have to hard reboot
- go into huawei erecovery, which is working, but when I try to resolve problem from there, always ends up with errors and crashes
- connect to pc and use HiSuite, system recovery tool here always says “no problem detected”
- updating to b361 through system update settings, always crashes on 5% and sends phone into “your phone was unlocked blah blah… your device is booting now” error
- downloading the proper b359 as and update.app file, put it in dload internal storage → same error during update, put it in dload sdcard → same error, no matter which way I use to start the update
- boot into twrp or stock recovery.img through fastboot without actually flashing it, anyway error “command not allowed”
- do factory reset or update through dial codes (i.e. *#*#123456#*#* …), nothing worked
My pc is windows 10, all drivers up to date. Using powershell as an admin. Am an idiot for not making backup of the phone before I started...
So, now I have more or less functioning phone, but I can’t uninstall any apps at all, can’t install from unknown sources, can’t do nothing from pc, can’t make any update, and lot of important settings keep crashing.
I can use the phone like this, but if somebody could think about some solution for this ****ed up situation I got myself into, I would be grateful to him/her for the rest of my life.
Sorry for a long post.
Thank you in advance and have a nice day
I think using Hisuit will help. Enter Fastboot and connect ur phone to ur computer and use system recovery toll
(I couldn't find this exact problem on the forums, forgive me if I overlooked it)
I tried booting my mom's old phone, an HTC Desire 626G, but it is stuck in a bootloop. When I try to enter recovery mode (by pressing power + volume down), it just enters the loop again.
I can however enter what I think is the bootloader menu, giving me three options: recovery, fastboot or normal boot. Fastboot freezes the phone, the other two options just start the bootloop. I've never installed a custom ROM.
I disassembled the phone, un- and replugged the battery to no avail. I tried ADB but I never enabled USB debugging in the first place, so that doesn't work either.
Do you have another idea that might work?

Bro You need to flash the factory firmware using a pc with that fastboot mode.....
The existing firmware might have been got corrupted or the storage might have been damaged, since its an old device(which is very rare),
To do so u can find many articles on the internet very easily,

Thanks a lot, I'm finally able to communicate with my phone via PC now. Booting still doesn't work but now I can at least format the storage and hopefully flash the factory ROM.
