too bad there isnt some sort of automatic "translator" on this board; lately, some of the "English" posted here is just so bizarre..
I had emailed them a month ago and they replied after a week. I received this on the 29 of April.
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your enquiry. We regret that there is no updated Android version for your mobile phone, D958, currently. We would reflect your opinion to our company internally. I've seen this article saying that LG has only confirmed a Lollipop update on the G3. I don't only find it a bad thing that they haven't confirmed anything on the G2 or the Flex yet, I think it's unacceptable and irresponsible of them to simply throw away two phones that have been so popular. The G2, at least.
Anyway, opinions aside, this shall serve as the discussion thread, maybe, for the Lollipop update. Post all questions, tips, suggestions here related to Android 5.0 here.
Honestly i don't really care if we get the update or not, i just love the phone the way it is now and i don't really get why so many people are obsessed with the updates. Sure, the stock android L that Google provides looks nice, buy mostly every company theme the system, but if you come to think of it there aren't sooo many improvements. And the G Flex is not such a popular phone like the G3, just like the Galaxy line or HTC lines. But we will wait and see what happends, for me this is one of the best phones out there just because the battery is amazin, i have never had a smartphone that can resist 2 days on moderate use or even 4-5 days at low usage. I'm the kind of guy that thinks that the phone is made for making calls, texts and stuff like that.
Oh I'm pretty sure we'll get lollipop on our flex most phones usually get two or three updates anyway
In March or April 2015 we get Lollipop update

I'm surprised its gonna be that long. If the G3 update is already rolling out seems to me they should already be working on the flex update since its the model just before the G3.
seriously why so far out that just doesnt make any sense business wise but hopefully we can get a port or a early leak for our device but thats just a little crazy and far out
Compare the sales of the g3 to the flex. That's why it'll be last to update I bet the g2 gets it first.

L is not rolling out for the G3. The update was a small one, not the big one. Went from like d to n.

Well, I'm staying on kk until xposed works on L, if we even get L. No biggie anyway, kk & root is doing me just fine. My only real gripe with lg's ROM is no quick settings drawer.

I have faith in them. T-Mobile and LG have both been excelling as of late. Fully confident we'll see a bump to 5.0. G3 got the update before other Nexus devices - Very good sign.
I think it's likely. Both the L9 and L9 2 have got their official updates after their original official version of Android...
I want to change my back-cover.Mine it is scratched. I found a back cover only for G Flex D955. I have D958 version. It will fit to my device?
Yes, It will..
Do a more thorough search and u'll find covers with network logo. LG logo or plain
