Hello Team,
Good day!
I updated my Asphalt 8 today evening to the latest version available in play store. After updating, the game is not launching in my device. Tried restarting my device and not luck.
Previous Version: 1.7.0K
Latest version: 1.8.0i
Android Version 5.0.1
Could you help me out in this!
Regards,
Realistically, unless anyone else has it and wants to confirm the issue, you should post or email the developer on this.

Yeah, contacted Gameloft support. This issue is mentioned under known issue and they working on it seems. Awaiting response from them. Would post their reply once I receive.
Meanwhile, thought our experts might fix this issue.

I just picked up 4.1 from the market on my G1. For some reason it kept force closing and saying I was 70000meters away from where I am. I even uninstalled it and rebooted. What I ended up doing was running RA recovery, entering the utility area and then using the experimental permissions fix.
Walla it runs smooth and seems to load up pretty fast. I'm on my phone and on the run. Just wanted to let others know that it does work despite all the rambling in the comments on the market.
It worked for me too, not much of an improvement if you ask me....
FC all the time and a lot slower than the old one (I'm using CM4.2.15.1)
It works great for me. I have no idea what everyone else is complaining about.
Agreed works well for me too i'm on CM 4.2.15.
It actually seems faster than before as far as scrolling around the map
Could someone post a link to the apk?

no access to market. can somebody help us?
Pulled off my phone after updating: Maps 4.1
Does this one have international navigation enabled or is it just the plain version?
plain ver. no international nav.
Shame
Don't suppose you know where there's a tutorial on how to edit the maps to add these features in like Brut does?
(Still looking for one but no luck yet)
just wait for brut to release it.

Thanks. Works fine on Dwang 1.17.1
Did anyone else get another update today? The Market said there was an update available, even though I already had 4.1.0 and the new version was also identified as 4.1.0. Strange.

yes I got this too, it crashes my phone
Yup, tried it 3-4 times and it completely resets the phone.
Had this too. Logcat said that the package manager crashed with an uncaught exception and the phone will therefore reboot.
I solved the problem by uninstalling + re-installing Maps instead of updating directly.
how do you reinstall it?
uninstall. install.
where do you go to install it?
sorry i'm new to this phone
I'm on maclaw cyanogenmod 11 latest build. before installing i did all the wipes and everything. after i flashed the gapps, play store wasn't up to date. after play store updated itself, apps icons inside play store became discolored. i installed the rom again and again the same thing. i cleared play store data and cache and did everything but no solution. here is the screenshot.

I think that you should ask Maclaw about that. I saw lots of the comments about it in S3 Mini thread.

Yes, it's related to the ROM development of graphics, which still has not been corrected by him. But it seems that if I look at the release of the latest Mini S3 CM11 ROM, that problem no longer exists. That is correct. For previous releases did not face any problems with it. So you need to wait for repairs to it I guess. On release 06/01/2014 I also experienced the problem. But the latest release of the TC, and even then the problem disappears. So the decision is in your hands today.

Yes, should be tried first. Because I think the ROM installation process is rather quite boring as well. So I think it was the right decision, I think.

That seems like the most probable answer. As for the OP:
I had the same problem.Greenify fixed it for me so I would suggest that you try it.
how does greenify works? What apps should I add on it? Will I add asphalt 8 on greenify?
Thanks

Done with it but it still crashes. I have 250-300mb free of ram.
Are you using the official version from Google Play?
Also, try running it with Wifi and data off or in airplane mode.

Yes official version on google play. with wifi on. I just flashed my rom on Cm11 right now. I hope this will resolve the issue. I will update you guys. :good:
I have played asphalt 8 on .205 ana it worked like a charm.I have also tried .207 but ram management is poor in .207 so i returned back to .205.
Thanks guys. I think my problem is solved after installing cm11.
Hey guys so I'm posting this just to let you know I'm on Android marshmallow on the Verizon version of the Nexus 6 and I'm having a little bit of trouble. I have tried it on both chroma and pure Nexus roms and for some reason I keep getting the Facebook has stopped error has anyone else been getting this error and possibly have a potential fix I tried uninstalling reinstalling and nothing has worked any help would be greatly appreciated!
Check the Facebook app permission, it needs at least Storage permission. Probably that is OFF.
I am on 6.0 fresh install, stock, Facebook is running fine.

Yep, if you're using the Beta or Alpha of Facebook, seems that whatever they did caused this issue. It isn't your device, just download and install the version Hogyoku suggested.

Apparently it isn't compatible with any Huawei handset that has been upgraded to EMUI 5.0.
I literally updated mine just the other day, and it just crashes out on starting up the app. . . frustrating.
I do hope they manage to fix it soon.

As said above works on marshmallow but not on Nougat.
I've spoke to Barclays they are aware of the problem didn't give me a time frame for when the app would work just check when the app updates
Well, at least it's not just me. My phone only recently updated to EMUI 5.0 (Nougat) build and suddenly, Barclays is dead. Great.
Same problem here. On the Honor 6x, EMUI 5.0.
yes known problem barclays are aware. i rolled back to MM so I could use this app mainly.
Did you guys read the changelog before updating to Android 7? It specifically says that the Barclays app would crash because it doesn't support Android 7.
