What does this mean? What would you guys suggest I do, ive never restored a TA before. Its just doing a loop of connecting in flashmode and then rebooting and then reconnecting in flashmode.
Edit: The phone does not reboot, it only flashes green on and off when connected to a charger, it doesnt connect in flash mode, and when i press the on button, nothing happens, if i hold it, it takes 5 seconds then it just vibrates, no life otherwise.

So its all okay again, I hadnt installed flashmode drivers. Im fully back to stock with restored TA and relocked bootloader.

I had a similar issue today. Try keeping your USB unplugged , start flash tool , make sure you have the rite firmware , wipe all data and such then click flash and wait until it tells you to plug in your phone by holding down volume down while plugging in. Had to do it this way twice , once while it was boot looping , have to plug it in at just the right time if its boot looping with not knowing when its powering on or off lol. Good luck.
Sometimes I have to get it in fastboot mode to stop loops then I can get a stable flashmode.
some ftf have a TA option below there, don't flash it so uncheck it, the ta option is stopping the flashtool to flash it, so uncheck wipe data if you need, uncheck ta, then try flash it in flash mode, dont plug in phone yet , after you press flash, when the computer screen shows you to plug in then you plug in, should work if there are no exceptional errors.

flashtool says its connected in flash mode but when i try to flash a .ftf i get "flash aborted" every time.
i also tried to restore the phone with sony SUS. but when i have to plug in the usb cable with flsh mode(volume down) the SUS programm dont recognize the XZ.

In TWRP Wipe --> Advanced --> Repair --> Mark System --> Repair or Change File System --> Repair. After that reformat all and restore backup. Other way is to reflash to stock with Flashtool.
I did exactly the same thing, I was trying to wipe some hidden backup files from twrp and accidentally deleted everything, backups from sd card included . I got to careless but anyway, I'm trying to flash a stock rom with flash tool but

I would appreciate any help.
Use FlashTool 09.18.2.
Nevermind, it was only a driver problem, Thanks anyway for your concern Chamelleon. As for the OP, Insted of going for your specific device driver for flash mode, just install the "Flashmode drivers" found in the flashtool driver installer. The pc should be able to recognize your device in flashmode without manually setting up the driver. Get a rom (google it, I'm not sure if i can post links here from other pages yet) and flash it with flashtool, as easy as that. I'm already using my phone again. Remember, to enter flashmode plug the usb cable and press the volume down button. (Volume up for fastboot). And thats it. Good luck :fingers-crossed:

Xperia T won't boot into flash mode, also looking for stock recovery

I'm planning on selling my Xperia T, but need to reinstall stock firmware (preferably UK) on it and preferably overwrite TWRP with the original recovery.
I have tried every conceivable shortcut to get the phone into flashmode. Held vol down while inserting USB (that takes it into fastboot). Held the vol down and power button until the phone vibrates once and also until it vibrates three times but also get taken into fastboot mode. Perhaps my volume button is broken . Flashtool obviously won't respond.
Whatever the cause, I need to get a stock firmware on the phone. If there's a stock firmware in .zip format I can flash through TWRP, or maybe in fastboot? I'm also looking for stock recovery (this may help with getting phone into flashmode) but worried that means phone won't boot at all if I don't have a stock ROM installed (currently Lineage 14.1).
Edit: apologies for the duplicate posts, not sure what happened...
I factory reset, installed the TWRP app and flashed the latest revision of the recovery (3.1.1.0). I managed to boot into flashmode from here... Once. Since then I have the same problem, only being able to boot into fastboot mode.
Is there any way to access flashmode through adb / fastboot / some other method?
I've had some luck since my previous post. I've been able to boot in to flashmode a number of times. I have two additional problems now:
1) Emma, the official Sony flash tool, does not automatically detect the lt30p. Instead it asks to choose from a list of models. The lt30p and most older Xperia models aren't on there, so I can't go down the official route.
2) Flashtool hangs at Reading Device Information. After an hour and a half, it attempts to flash anyway and fails within a second. I'll post the log here but don't think it'll be much use.
If anybody can help - with a zip file I can flash from TWRP for example?

Success!
Flashmode, for some reason, only booted when plugging in the phone and holding both the camera and volume down button.
The "Error - null" was solved by another post on Z5 forum, using an older version fixed the problem and the phone flashed successfully. On a stock ROM now.
