I can not install any ROM or successfully Kernel - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Please I need help. My Z3C D5833 simply does not start after flashing any ROM or kernel to be.
Every time after you finish installing a rom or kernel, and when I check the "restart", the device turns off and you can not boot.
I press the power button, the phone vibrates, but nothing appears on the screen. That I have to install the rom stock with FlashTool, to the unit returns to normal.
Could someone explain to me what the hell is going on?
Thank U!

Have you unlocked the bootloader?

XZ wont bootup after flashing a ROM

Hey, really need your help here please.
After flashing a ROM from XDA I cant bootup my XZ anymore.
After the Sony Logo comes up the device is only showing me a screen I've never saw before: a wrench and a screwdriver with a loading bar under them.
What to do to get the device working again?
Already tried reflashing DoomLords CWM Kernel.
Any help is REALLY appreciated.
regards

Okay m8, downloading right now. With my crappy internet it takes 25 min from now on. Will test immediately and not going to sleep until my device is working again.
Thanks for your effort at this time.

Factory reset not doing proper factory reset

I did factory reset, my phone wifi wont work, everything is all wonky, its like the factory reset didnt complete itself, done it 5-6 times, still everything all wonky. I cant get into CMW.
What are my options? Sony Companion doesnt do factory reset because it just stops working after the phone resets when trying to do it. Hmmm not sure what options I got.
Before I had this problem I flashed a stock ROM with CMW. It was stock 4.3 and when it finished it was still 4.2.2.
Do I use a flashtool to put reset to factory if so which tool do i use? I can boot into the phone fine but wifi dont work and everything crashes, and factory reset ends up with same problems still.
I think you have to flash the FTF again and Wipe Everything with Flashtool v0.9.13, fresh installation. It's compromise to much your phone right now.

How you can't if your phone can boot? Switch off the phone, when the phone is off keep pressing volume down and connect the phone to PC via USB, let windows install the drivers, keep pressing volume down all the time. Did you do that?

Xperia T LT30p 4.1.2 can't get it going !

I'm trying it for days now, and can't get it work, always bootloops.
I can flash every 4.3 stock firmware, from every region, and it works, even the new OmniROM 4.4 KitKat HOME/NIGHT Build;
I just cant get it going, the 4.1.2 firmware. I have unlocked bootloader, i tried every stock rom, with all the DoomKernels from 1-4 and 7-9v, root superSU, but nooothing.
I want that firmware, because the 4.3, it has lot of problems, the battery cant stand 45-60m, the battery becomes sooo hot, and i have no wifi and dont recognizes my sim, and the 4.1.2 that i had, was perfect working.
So if anyone can help me, please help !

I didn't forget you, mate
This is my last idea:
1) Flash 4.0.4 with Flashtool https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B55PDGQqCzReV2dFSjFSNnlLLVk/preview?pli=1
2) If 4.0.4 works fine, then re-lock your bootloader like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1924221
You must re-lock, because updates with OTA and SUS are disabled when the bootloader is unlocked.
3) Once re-locked, the phone should ask you to update via OTA... and it should be the 4.1.2 update.
Accept the update and the phone automatically downloads and updates to 4.1.2
Remember that you can re-unlock your bootloader whenever you want, also if you can get your 4.1.2 full working

Nevertheless I taught you to work with bootloader... so now you can install Omnirom or Doomkernel... just enjoy these few things ...and let's hope that Sony will release a bugless 4.3 firmware... or better, a full working 4.4... but it's hard, since our device is getting old :crying:

[Q] Is this the latest version of CM11? FreeXperia Project, FXP325

Hi guys,
Now I have a dual recovery in my Sony Xperia Z,
I am following this,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/orig-development/zdevelopment-cm11-android-4-4-t2540633
And in the last few post, there's someone who mentioned there's a FXP325
but when i go to the official download page, http://unrestrict.li/FXP
I could only see FXP303 that has the date stamped of Jan 2014; is this the latest? or should I go with Cyanogen nightlies?
ETA:
the download link for FXP303 yuga did not work

If your bootloader was locked your phone is now hardbricked and you can throw it into the trash
If it still vibrates you can try to bring it into flashmode and flash a stock .ftf file

Do you know that after your first sentence you've broked the xperia z owners heart? Don''t be so rude... If would be in his place then I tink I get a heartshock.. But you're right. Owner, try SUS, maybe it'll work.

I know how it feels like, I hard bricked my Xperia T by trying to flash a custom recovery as a kernel via an app. It refused to boot after that... (but my bootloader was unlocked)
Also he mentioned that his bootloader was still locked, this usually means that his phone is now hardbricked. The fact that his phone still vibrates could indicate that he might has luck and he recover it, and I wish it him for sure, but it is very unlikely.
Btw, I didn't meant to be rude, I'm sorry if anyone felt attacked or anything like that.

[Q] Xperia T Dead

Hey guys. I was trying to install Cm10 on my sister's xperia T. I rooted it, installed recovery, wiped everything but after I flashed CM and clicked reboot, the phone is dead. I can't turn it on, I can't enter recovery mode, the PC isn't recognising it. If I push the on/off button it vibrates once but then nothing and if I push at the same time power on and volume up, it vibrates three times but then again nothing.
I know I forgot to do something while installing the ROM but please any piece of help might be extremely useful as I ended up with a dead phone and nothing I can do.

Did you unlock the phone's bootloader? Because custom roms like cyanogenmod require an unlocked bootloader for xperia phones. Also, try using the flashtool to revive your phone. This sounds pretty much like a soft brick. If I'm right, it's 100% guarandeed you can bring the phone back to life.

Also, you should really figure out if your bootloader is unlocked or not.

Are there other errors above the ones seen there?
What ROM did you Flash? Maybe you could try with ones found here on XDA.
Also, when you start up the FlashMode process in Flashtools, is your phone already connected?

Yes it was a problem caused by the ROM I was trying to install. I found one with stock 4.0.4 and flashed it and finally it came back to life.
And in fact it is faster than when it was running 4.3.3

Guess what: if you don't like the 4.04, you can find official 4.3 firmware files in this site. There's a collection of these things. Just search for them.

Thanks for the tip. In fact I'll make another effort to install CM and this time I'll make sure to follow every step properly. But comparing the two editions, I think 4.0 is smoother than 4.3.
