Hi there,
I wonder if anyone has succeeded to install an alternative camera app on the EK-GC200.
I would like to prevent the "autostart" of the default camera app and start it instead of the original app.
Any ideas on this topic?
Thank you,

Hi,
I'm sorry if someone already asks this question.
Since the GRI40 update, do you have a force close when you open the camera app and switch with the gallery app ? It happens to me when I do it twice. I got a force close for the 2 apps.
Thanks.

Hi
Camera app in Galaxy tab is stock email.apk dependable.
So if you had deleted stock email.apk, or you had disabling from starting, the camera is not working.
I had this problem in the past deleting email.apk, because I had put K9 mail

I have the stock OTA ICS update on my Droid 4. I have always hated the stock camera app on the droid series. I like Camera Zoom FX way better. So, I changed the dock to use it instead, easy enough, and then set the app to be my default camera app.
Now, how do I change the camera app on the lock screen? I had thought that setting it to default would do it, but no. Also, cannot seem to find settings for it.
Help anyone?
Thanks.
Hmm... No replies... Does that mean you cannot change the stock apps on the unlock screen?
Maybe you can try to delete the camera app thru root explorer and then rename the app to camera
Worth a try
Do not attempt without backing up first!

Or just freeze it... I tried to replace messaging app on lock screen this way work but could send SMS just not receive might have gallery issues might not you would have to be rooted tho as you would have to freeze it not possible to disable on stock no root... good luck

Hi,
I'm running Android 4.2.2 (RomAur) on my Xperia Z. When I first configured the lockscreen, I defined the Sony camera applicaition as the camera to use on the lockscreen.
Since, I have installed the JB 4.3 camera application and would prefer to use this one, as it starts faster.
However I cannot find where I can change the camera application used by the lockscreen. I tried freezing the Sony app with Titanium Backup but the lockscreen does not ask back for another camera app, it just doesn't do anything.
I found in TB a "Lockscreen" application. I deleted the data for this app but it did not change anything at all, it's still the Sony app used.
I could not find a reference to the Camera app in the DefaultApp application either.
Any idea? Thanks!
