Hello,
Some of you may know me from the Mako forums as I built the temasek ROM (cm11) in the past. I am not a person to make elaborate OPs, so it will be simple.
First off, I would like to thank:
temasek
temasek's contributors
CyanogenMod
crpalmer
cristianomatos and his crdroid team
whoever else that contributed to the source code for temasek
@mrapp helping in testing cm12.1 ROM
This ROM is based off of cm12 with added customization and enhancements to temasek's and my liking. I will not be building every day, and I will upload ROMs as I feel. It will take longer for me to build since I will be using an older laptop to do the work. I need my newer one for other purposes. However, if a quick build with fixes need to be added, I will use my newer laptop for a speedy build. If there are bugs or problems, please let me know and do not complain about it since I am only sharing what I am building. However, I will do my best to get it fixed and as time permits.

To flash this ROM, you all know what to do. Flash ROM, gapps, etc. I am also not responsible for any damage that you may incur on your phone. Flash wisely and responsibly.
You may be able to dirty flash if coming from the official cm12 ROM or any cm12 based ROM. Backup is advised
Enjoy
P.S. If you would like to donate, please donate to temasek. I do not accept donations because I do this for fun and for myself. Don't spend on me, save your money
extras:
Since AudioFX doesn't really work, you can use DSPManager that is modded to work with the ROM (Equalizer visualizer breaks however): https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934540373
Here are different files that make AudioFX work: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952592281
Also, if you want Nexus 6 ui sounds, you can flash that as well: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934540374
From the 4/17 build and on, it now can use Google's version of Webview. You should download Google's version of webview from the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.webview. Sign up for beta versions here: https://plus.google.com/communities/105434725573080290360. Google's webview will be more up to date with fixes, security enhancements, and features
Thanks bro!
I loved Temasek's ROM for my Galaxy SIII. Glad to see you are bringing the goodies for our beloved Moto X. Much appreciated.

I implement code from temasek's github and some cherry picks from CM

CM is working on it. When they merge it, then it can be looked at

New build is up! There is a disclaimer: I took out the feature of linking the ringer and notification volume since it did not work. That being said, I am hoping that while doing so it did not break anything else. Please let me know if there are any bugs, typos, and/or mismatches and I will try to fix it (no guarantee). You can view this build as more of a test type, and if nothing bad happens, then it will make me (and you all) happy
Other changes are device specific things and some CM stuff. Enjoy
Edit: I am using a build that I've compiled that's a bit older than the uploaded one with the feature reverted. I haven't seen an issue, but perhaps it'll be different for some of you
New build is up! There aren't many changes since CM has been somewhat slowing down for now (hoping 5.1 is soon). I did remove the notification volume step since Ringer volume is tied with Notification volume. Some bug fixes, more blobs, and more kernel changes were added
New build is available. Only fixes and enhancements were added
sent from my Nexus 7
new build. 4k recording is now back (I was able to select that option in Google Camera)
New build is ready to download. Not a lot was added, only keeping up to date with CM
Thank you sir

New build. Not many changes. Only keeping up with CM, but please flash this if you flashed the previous build. It fixes the no voice during a call

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

I had 3 problems after flashing this rom. First, the keyboard freezes and sticks on the screen when swiping. A temporary resolution was to uninstall the stock keyboard and download the Google keyboard from the play store. Second, sometimes the phone enters sleep mode and it doesn't turn back on. The menu and back keys light up when I try to turn the screen on but the screen stays blank. Third, the gallery shows blank content a few seconds after using it. Please look into these problems!

As was mentioned: gapps are probably to blame. If you're not using PA Gapps you should try those - mini modular package for example.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
Second problem I haven't noticed - are you on stock kernel? I am using Alucard's as KT's is giving me problems with min/max values not sticking and getting stuck at a very low frequency on Carbon. Has great functionality like USB mass storage mode.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590246
Third problem not happening here either. You could try using Quickpic as an alternative, though. Best gallery available in my opinion.
Maybe try a clean flash with pa gapps and alucard kernel. That setup works like a charm for me.

I'm using stock kernel. I'm gonna try using the suggested gapps to see if everything will be resolved.
I also noticed the "adjust brightness using status bar" feature isn't on this rom. Will this be implemented any time soon?

I am not affiliated with the SlimRoms team. I just build it for some of the Moto OMAP4 devices (I have an Atrix 2). But, yea, it would not be possible without the work of the Slim team, along with Hashcode, dhacker29, stargo (with his contributions for kitkat), and many others..
Also, do you guys have Paranoid Android yet? If all is well with Slim, I will probably add targa to my PA builds too...

this is the one I used and it worked
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535920
That's the one I've used for liquid, gummy, cm, and now slimkat. It has worked on all of them. I'm excited about pa coming to bionic. So far the only issue I've had with slimkat is the phone gets goofy and Black's out, but I've had similar issues with all of the, 4.4.2 ROMs.. I'm thinking its a cm base issue.
I'm lovin this rom!!! it fixed the Bionic whine which the other aosp roms don't!!!!
A couple of observations
1. once the wifi has been turned off it won't let you turn it back on (unless you toggle the device in and out of airplane mode)
2. activating data seems longer than in most roms
3. would love, love, love to have pie on this rom
also I have yet to try ART has anyone tried and noticed a difference with ART
Did anyone find a way to clear all in recents? That's an option I really like but don't see by default. Even better if you could move it to the lower left like carbon used to.

Also @BrateloSlava it seems you are doing daily builds
Is it for testing purposes are it will be like this way?

@BrateloSlava Thanks for the builds! How about a changelog for the changes you made.
I have no plans to release daily builds. I periodically review project files of this ROM's. If there is something interesting - I make the build. I also run a new build of project, if I introduced some interesting patches to the kernel/device tree.
For example, today I "spied" two patches, and introduced them to us. I hope that the first boot of today build RR/Tesla will make you happy.
It is also possible that the current build does not bring anything good.
thanks mate!
just tried your tesla build and using it now. feels great so far.
sounds like a good plan to do sporadic builds - go for it.
From today's build I've contradictory feelings. Seems bad.

About changelog, new versions and others.
As I see, now only RR team have day-by-day updates, that they publish in they Git.
On this basis, I see a sense of releasing their versions more often. Though I like the Tesla, but I do not see any reason to use it. Validus, I don't even try to install. If you look at the number of downloads of my builds, the load of RR is three times higher than total number of downloads Tesla + Validus.
About changelogs. Anyone can visit the GitHUB of selected ROM and see a current list of patches. I see no reason to rewrite it.
I did a separate folder for kernel from my test branch. If anyone interested - they may install him via fastboot.
what are the important patches that are already in your test branch?
but: most likely my curiousity will win and i will try it anyway...
Good job. Tesla and Validus is best but, in Validus (top ROM) have two problems: 1. In titles icons icon Sync do not show (empty, only text). 2. Not running Kernel Audi... app for settings - after click in Settings no reaction.
keep updating tesla rom sir and please add notification tile :good:
Tesla - new build up.
Tesla developers not publish any recent updates. Therefore, in the my current build - only general updates (RIL, etc) and upgrades for the kernel.
Resurrection Remix - new build up.
Check RR git for list of new patches.
I'm not check RR/Valdus build myself, because I'm used Tesla. Please, send me info, if new build is incorrect.

How Do I...?
Code:
How do I report an issue? Please use this format -
Device :
baseband:
BL:
Build:
Issue:
* This will make it easy to follow along common issues, which variants and those with updated firmware that dont have the issue one on a older firmware does can attempt to update for resolution.
What if im not on stock kernel?
*I will not be supporting other kernels so if you report an issue add Kernel: to the issue format. Im anxious to know if boeffla has an issues with it over stock myself as thats what i run but its not my priority!
What do I do , In stuck in a boot loop?
*Under the download section up top is a file for substratum removal. This should remove the overlays and recover from most boot loops if they were to occur.
When will you, how long until ?
* Please dont expect or ask for nightlies, weeklies etc These builds will come in my free time. If an update brings about an issue i will move to resync as quickly as i can when said issue has been resolved.
*DO NOT ASK FOR TIME FRAMES! Please keep in mind us developers have lifes and asking or expecting a timeframe is entirely unreasonable. It may take a few minutes to flash and setup but it takes enourmous time and effort to build and maintain!

Hi, forgive me if I am missing something.
I am running latest LOS nightly and run substratum with no issues so far, at least that I can tell.
Just want to understand what this is providing, and if I am missing something.
Thank you.

While substratum works on lineage your in legacy only mode and many features cant be used or crash. I regularly had to use the substratum removal tool when doing updates on the regular substratum rom then setup my theme again. This provides support for boot animations, sound packs, apply without reboots , fonts, apply & build/update etc. OMS is fully baked into the rom to support each and every feature without issue and without issue while updating.

I see, thank you.
I haven't really done much with Substratum besides load my single theme pack that makes things look the way I expect.
So far stability for me has been decent. I usually run an app called 'Twilight' to weak lighting. I notice more crashing when running this combo.
If you are providing these awesome features and the platform to integrate LOS and Substratum correctly, are you planning on opening a PR on LOS repo? Maybe they will merge your good work.
Be well.
It all depends on the popularity of the ROM and rather it stays close to stock as possible or ventures far away. If things take off I'll use polls to let users decide. As far as you mentioning no issues I'm assuming you were using the swift dark or swift black (forget name) that everyone else was? That was the only stable one I found. Many other themes I absolutely loved but it was only a matter of time before a bootloop, odd issues or an update leading to a bootloop then setting the theme up all over again. You also couldn't use fonts or boot animations as well as required reboots to apply the themes. I'm back on my backup now to get the last of my data to switch to lineageOMS full time and continue to work on it. I planned to build it for myself but felt others may appreciate it shared. I've already synced back up to do a new build as well as I need to make a few small changes.

No but I'm actually trying to find the ROM (I think its Korean variant?) That it does work on. I found one that says volte works so I'm going to try to merge it. If it looks like I can do it you may see bits and pieces of it in future variants. I'm forking sources over now to have a look at their ims manager. I've looked before and seen different carriers use the same imsmanager, I think its going to be more merging and getting the CSC files right. Its not priority though.
For now the ROM is pure vanilla so it does everything lineage official for klte variants do and don't do anything they don't (except full support for substratum).

New update posted in download link, all sources synced up and I made a change to make bluetooth file transfer act the way cyanogenmod 13 did. You should now be able to transfer all file types including apk files, or maybe bluetooth is completely broke =-)

Can you tell me how you do that and is sending of all file types supported again by official LOS?
because currently I use ResurrectionRemix 5.8.3 on my KLTE and Samsung Galaxy Tab S device but there I am not able to send any type of files via BT, allthough it worked in older builds (not all type of files but zip files worked for example).
Many thanks

You should be allowed to send select few files like music on your ROM. I just did a dirty hack to bypass the black filter (not allowed file types). I'm trying to trace back to where we lost the option w the checkbox to send all files but its time consuming and I've only gotten so far. Seems we have the code to support it but lost the GUI part with the option in the 13 to 14 update

If official lineage support so does mine. Kltespr was merged w klte right? I think my first page says it does. You will need to clean flash but I'm may try to make a migration build for dirty flashers like Me. Boeffla runs fine on it, I'm using it.

That's what confused me. kltespr has not been merged in klte in official LOS. So I was wondering if you merged them all in one. Thanks.

Thank you. I was looking at your list, and maybe I am not understanding what type of merging you are referring to, but there are separate builds in the official LOS website for klte, kltespr, klteduos, kltekor, and kltedv. The ones that have been merged into klte from your list are klteusc and kltevzw. And, using my G900P (sprint variant) as an example, as far as I know, I am not supposed to flash a build other than kltespr. This is a list of the devices that continue to have their own separate builds (latest 08/02):
kltespr: https://download.lineageos.org/kltespr
kltekor: https://download.lineageos.org/kltekor
klteduos: https://download.lineageos.org/klteduos
kltedv: https://download.lineageos.org/kltedv
I'll see what I can do tonight about spinng you a build. I was building for kltespr, kltedv, kltevz and another before lineage was official. Pretty sure I can get one going for you sprint guys but I don't know they move CDMA to klte and leave out sprint . locked BL?

Good work @omgbossis21. Though I'm not a big fan of substratum and themes, it will be nice to see more options for kltexxx devices. As @eurohunter said, I think most of the klte variants need separate builds except kltevzw and klteusc (those are already merged with klte). I don't know exactly about kltespr, klteduos, kltedv etc, but I'm fully sure that the klte build will not boot (instead, directly go to download mode) on my kltekor (due to significantly different device tree as well as a slightly different kernel) unless the users will flash a compatible kltekor stock/custom kernel on the top of the klte ROM. You may probably clarify those things in the op.
Code:
What phones will this support?
At the moment these builds should support KLTE,KLTEDUOS,KLTEDV,KLTEKOR,KLTESPR,KLTEUSC & KLTEVZW
Btw, It will be really great, if you add some simple but useful apps (like OmniSwitch, OmniJaws etc.) to the ROM. You can easily find the sources from RR/crDroid github repos. And if possible, may be pixel like blue accent color. Such simple changes make this ROM really unique. These are just my suggestions. Of-course, all these things are up to your choice and decision. Thanks a lot, anyway, and keep up the good work...

Thanks I appreciate that. I originally made it for my wife and as we like the themes but unless you stratmy far from lineage or use what little theme support it has, you can't do much. I considered changing colors but I think its best to leave it up to selected themed especially since you can mix and match them. As far as app I have some plans for that up my sleeve. My isp is still down after getting home from work so I'll have to build a kltesor ROM tomorrow. I'll do one for any other build requested as well, otherwise other variants come in my free time. I'm still curious if my bluetook hack fix worked, may need to update my phone to find out! I'm also all for boeffla kernel and viper audio so as things pick up more and more I'll let users vote via polls. A few cherrypicks on the other ROMs isn't a bad idea either!

Thanks for this rom! Just tried it out for my ol' nexy's sake, and I am plesantly surprised. I thought that P roms were too heavy for mako, but that doesn't seem to be the case. If you don't install gapps, it is definately smoother than oreo roms(without gapps), and it can be fairly compared to N roms with gapps. Options are abundant too. Love RR.
Thanks to @Cice96 for this rom! Surprised by the fact that there were still developers for mako. Please continue support, if you can! Thanks again!

Thank you but I just put the pieces together. All the hard work has been done by @voron00 and others who provided the device sources and obviously by the resurrection remix team. Without them this wouldn't be possible.

Check your apps, they might be the most probable cause (for example Facebook or any other heavy app).
Still using this ROM. Thanks for keeping it updated! Still works well, love neat features like gestures and Q lockscreen clock. Fast if you don't install gapps. @Cice96 , if you have some free time, please keep RR P updated. Love how great features are added to RR repo. Thank you a lot!!

Try the new build, some changes were made to the device tree and maybe your issue is solved.
Still using this ROM! Super thanks!
One bug report : Many Features(especially options that changes UI looks) with lots of options are little broken.
For example, when you choose one locksceen clock option, it doesn't apply correctly at first. If you choose another option, the previous option is applied instead of the new chosen option.
What I'm saying is ;If you choose option A, ther are no changes in the UI. If you choose option B after that, the UI changes to what option A indicates.
The only way to apply the chosen option correctly is to reboot.
It is not a big bug, but if you can fix it, I would be grateful.
Anyway, thanks for your commitment!

Ah, then it doesn't matter! Not a big bug anyway.
I am pleased with the new build. Glitches with gesture interface(especially the glitch when recent gestures acted like it was double tapped) are completely fixed.
Thanks a lot!

Just for information, i managed to build Resurrection Remix Ten (Android 10), but it lacks so many features that i see no point in sharing it yet. Also the current version doesn't seem to have the latest security patches added yet, thats why i haven't update the ROM.
Thank you.
