Hey guys, how are you?
I install the Cyanogenmod 12 on my Moto X1, but it stays just on the Cyanogenmod bootlogo, and don't start..
What may I have to do?
I'm so excited to experiment Android Lollipop.. but I'm thinking, I'll take a little bit time..
Sounds like you didn't follow the instructions for installing cm12 (mainly the part about installing cm11 and booting once first)

If you made a nandroid backup. Hold power button down until phone shuts off. Press down volume key and power button simultaneously to get into boot menu. Choose recovery. Restore nandroid.

Ok so i rooted my moto droid i just got in and installed ROM Manager. I Dl'ed the newest stable version of the cyanogenmod rom and choose to make a backup and install the new rom. the backup failed and moved on by itself to installing the ROM. after it was done and rebooted the boot logos have just been repeating themselves over and over. It has the "droid" logo that turns into the red eye. Can anyone please help me. I just want a "working" custom moto droid. Thanks
Can you boot into recovery (hold x while you power on)?
I had the same issue and could not get into recovery. I removed the battery from my Droid to turn it off, connected my Droid to my computer, started RSD Lite and re-flashed SP Recovery. I was then able to boot into recovery and reinstall my previous ROM (which you can do if you have a valid backup). That got be back to normal save reinstalling apps.
Some time ago, when I did my first flash process on android I fell on that very problem, and I could fix that flashing again, BUT I think that is very important to do a factory reset before that, so, yes, go to your Open Recovery and clean first your phone, then flash it again and I hope you are done.. good luck
can somebody please help me? my screen just went black at work today and it does nothing at all now. if I hold the power button it vibrates once. if I hold power+volume down I get to recovery. I tried to reboot from there and I get the unlocked bootloader warning screen and from there it just goes to a black screen. so I get back to recovery and installed my back up and that didn't help at all. somebody please help me.
So the bootloader is unlocked, what else have you done to the phone?
You may need to reflash it with rsdlite.
OP you need to provide more details. are you getting the M logo? is it bootlooping? is the phone doing ANYTHING but getting in to recovery?
load the fastboot menu and use mfastboot to flash the system, boot and recovery images. you should be able to bring the phone back to life without losing data.

the only thing ive done to the phone is put xposed framework on it and gravity box. that was prob a month ago tho. this is the first prob ive had with the phone.
You may want to follow this guide to return the phone to stock firmware:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446515
You could also try commenting out the line that overwrites user data so you don't lose your data.
Try plugging your phone into the original charger and then boot to recovery, from their try rebooting while still plugged in. If that doesn't work try this again but wipe just the caches and reboot while plugged in. I have had a screen go black before on other devices and plugging the original charger(car and most others didn't work) in and booting to recovery then rebooting would get it working again.
PS When you boot to recovery check your battery level.
well...I used the moto x toolkit and returned to stock using that. everything booted up. so far everything is looking good. lost all my data but that's not that big of a deal.

Hello
I had my HTC One running Cyanogenmod 11 like a charm. After that I flashed ElementalX kernel which I have used many times before. It flashed correctly but my phone got stuck in the boot loop. Then I rebooted back to recovery and tried to flash Bulletproof kernel. It flashed correctly too but my phone is still not restarting. At this point I thought "**** it, I'll flash new rom" but I can't boot into bootloader. The only thing my phone is doing is flashing software buttons. It doesn't show even the HTC logo screen! I'm starting to get worried I actually bricked my phone :crying:.
Does any of you have any solutions?

Hold the power button and the Vol down for about 15 seconds in a well lit room
when the buttons stop flashing let go of power and continue holding the Vol down .. you should be back in boot loader.
After that you should RUU back to stock
find the one that matches you phones CID and MID here

Hi
Thanks for your quick help. I have to admit I was at first a little pessimistic about that light actually working since I had tried it a few times, but for some reason it really worked and let me into bootloader. So a big thank you for you who used your precious time to help me, thank you. :highfive: Now my phone is fully functional again. :victory:
When I got home, I went to update to 4.4.4 kitkat but it keeps taking me to the team win recovery and when I reboot to my system after everyting loads up it shuts down and reboots into the recovery, I was wondering what I would need to fix this

Dude I think U have flash custom recovery and rooted your phone which might cause failure updating stock rom.
My tablet tf700t. Each time i attempt to install a rom within twrp; the tablet reboots to the recovery screen attempt to install it and then goes to dead androidred exclamation. I also try to go in to recovery to do it manuall (power volume down up at unlock screen up o rdk dead android again)y same result.
I have install twrp, and busy box free.
Kernel 3.1.10-g9827b9a
Build jop0d.us_epad-10.6.1.14.8-20130514
Android 4.2.1
also unlocked with asus unlock tool
I want to install a rom to possibly stabilize this tablet a bit more
Thanks in advance.
First of all, you posted in the wrong forum. This is the TF701 forum.
You sure you have TWRP installed????? Do you see the blue TWRP splash screen? Which version did you flash?
It rather sounds as if you are still running the stock recovery... The dead Android is the stock recovery not finding an Asus update file....
I think you need to start at square 1.
