As you know, the Alcatel OTE doesnt have any custom recovery built to support it, not to mention that the OTE has an locked bootloader. But there is still a way to to install Cynagenmod themes using Xposed.
So here's what you do:
Install Xposed
Install Hk themer
Then that's it, everything is set up, now all you have to do is choose a CM rom, to try it out for starters download and install the theme CyanOrangen Cobalt from the playstore and install it using hk themer, reboot and enjoy

Very cool man. Do you know how i can get https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dustinb.theme.cobalt to work with xtheme engine?
Is there any way to create or/and install a theme on my phone, which is not rooted.
The version of my phone is 9.2.A.2.5.
Thank you.
There are guides in XDA, you can search for it.
It it possible at all to install self-created themes on 4.3 without superuser mod?
Being a former stock 4.3 user, I dont think so. Only the theme wallpapers would work in that case. :/

So I love new Androud Lollipop themes. I want to install them on my Stock LG.
I do not want launchers that change only homescreen and app drawer. I want to fully change the looks. From Notification bar to settings menu.
I am rooted and have installed a custom recovery.
I dont know what to do next.
1. Lg smartworld has no Lollipop themes.
2. Tried HKthemer via Xposed module. It supports only CM10. So no lollipop.
Anyone knows Lollipop theme for LG L 90.?
How to install it if I have root.?
I'm pretty sure this won't work.

Themes requires the use of some kind of theme manager. There is no theme manager support of any kind in LG Stock ROMs. Unfortunately on stock your only option is to use launcher themes. None of the Xposed theme modules work with LG stock. Sorry. I personally have tried everything under the sun to get some kind of theming when I was on stock with no luck.

I've used Xtheme with Xposed to install themes. Someone can port a CM theme to Xthemes and you can install from there.

Have not tried that. But if you're on new Xposed that means you are on Lollipop. Why do you need another theme? Enjoy Lollipop for awhile!
The theme am using on 4.4.4 is based on Lollipop. If I actually installed Lollipop, I wouldn't need a theme.

For dark theme
My main frustration with Miui is not being able to theme it myself, I don't like any of those themes in the store.
I applied for designer in their website but my theme has been waiting to be approved by them for like 3 months now.
I've tried several workarounds, like the force close method (Doesn't works for me I'm on Miui 12.0.6 Btw) and the theme editor from playstore (Works but reverts to stock after a while).
EU roms have a fix for this but there's no EU roms for this device, screw MediaTek.
I have root access via magisk and the unofficial twrp as recovery, is there anything I can do to install a theme permanently?

I just looked it up, only works for Miui 11 and is paid.
Also, even though it is restricted, I prefer Miui theme engine, it is very customizable and system wide. That's the main reason I haven't switched to Lineage Os, I've heard custom app icons only apply to launcher in Lineage Os (No custom icon in recents or settings apps tab)
Did you download the Swift Installer? Because it will support every phone after you install it will cost some money but you can download apk
MIUI themes are in MTZ format, You can either import them in theme store, or apply them through an app named "Theme editor for MIUI".
Keep in mind since there's no proper support for third party themes, they get reseted after some time and the phone returns back to stock theme.
So for now either you enjoy your theme for a few hours and it resets, or try to get it on the MIUI Theme store.
