One Button to 3,5mm for G2 - G2 Accessories

Hi guys, Im wearing my G2 in pocket and last time I wanted to listen music I ve found a lot of mess inside my 3,5mm. So, I decided to resolve it. As I dont like those cheap rubber sealings and didnt find telescopic stylus into 3,5mm socket (yeah) I decided to buy some one click button into this 3,5mm socket. Ive read on internet that the compatibility with G2 is quite arguable. Do you guys use some programable button like Mikey, Pressy, Clicky or other cheap chinese copies? Im looking for working solutions ONLY!!!, so please give me some ebay link for some cheap button which 100% works with Lg G2. I know they are very cheap, but I dont like useless stuff at home and new and new orders to find the working one. Thanks a lot and maybe it will be usefull for others. Many THX.

I bought a clickable button on ebay that i leave number below. it works fully functional on my g2.

3.5mm Headphone Jack

Hey anyone know of a 3.5mm headphone jack - Ext-USB that works with this phone? I've been searching everywhere, but haven't found anything that works.
i got one with the phone well it was a 2.5 i think and i got an adapter from Radioshack... it's very ugly and dangles i really wish phone companies would just put 3.5 mm jacks right into the phone -
you can also google mini-usb to 3.5 and can find some.
yeah. i'm using the one that came with the phone but it's so bulky. I was just wondering if anyone found something better.
I am currently using this one:
http://www.usbfever.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=289
I've had a for about 2-3 months and it works great
T-Mobile Store
If you got to your local T-mobile store you can get an HTC branded 11-pin mini usb to 3.5 mm headphone jack for around ten dollars. I've been using it for a couple months and it works great since it was made to work with the Android HTC Dream. It's a little more pricier than you can find it online, but it's definitely reliable, the connection is sturdy, and it's not terribly overpriced.
i dont recomment the one above because i bought it and when it tangles over time the black rubber part breaks.. try
http://cgi.ebay.com/3-5mm-Headphone...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50 .
i just bought one and no problems so far

Which rubber part breaks off? (So I can be careful and elongate the time my cord exists)
I gotta admit, if I wasn't paranoid about buying stuff over the net, I would buy that. It's exactly what I was looking for originally, something sturdy (mainly the one piece connection that is likely to break) and simple.

perfect i saw this on ebay a while ago, but didn't know if it would work with the vogue. thanks so much!
Im just using the adapter for my Dream. Works great, has a built in microphone and hang up button that the ones online DONT have. Connection is fair, sometimes you gotta tighten it a bit.
This is the one that I'm using:
http://www.oriongadgets.com/product_info.php?products_id=2087
It looks like it's bigger but I like it because it's got more cable, which to a degree makes it more flexible in where I can put it. The little block includes a mic, and also has the connector for charging and 3.5mm output. So I can charge and listen to music, or charge and talk using standard headphones/earphones with the built in mic.

leather case with bluetooth keyboard inside !!

today i see a great product. a side flip leather case with bt keyboard inside,
it is design for hd2 specially. the keyboard cannot be taken out n use mini usb to charge
i think this will be super for my leo!!
however i still get a hold on it because
1. its a bit heavy when i put my leo inside
2. the leather case is very old fashion
3. it is a bit expensive @hkd400
i hope more manufacturer will use this idea to make more similar product
any photos?

Closest I found so far:
http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?i...8&um=1&hl=en&safe=off&sa=N&ndsp=18&tbs=isch:1
'Ultra-slim Credit Card-Sized Bluetooth Keyboard
"Similar to the Freedom Mini Bluetooth keyboard, this Freedom Slim keyboard lets you add qwerty input to non-qwerty phones—the iPhone, perhaps?
The keyboard itself has Moto RAZR-ish design, including blue or orange backlight and magnetic pads to go with its included case. It's good for 4 hours of use and 100 hours standby and can be recharged via mini USB. May not be useful for most people, but great for those who do a lot of texting." Via Gizmodo.

These are available on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-FREEDOM-S...e_Phones_Bluetooth_Acc_ET?hash=item563a441e8d
I love the idea of the keyboard intergrated into the case. Well done to KDenilson for finding the link. I've e-mailed the company for cost/ordering info. I'll post the info once I hear back if someone hasn't already done so.

this case/keyboard combo would be great. I'm very interested in this. Let us know if you get a reply back about ordering information. I'm already missing my touch pro qwerty, but love the screen size on this hd2. this case, keyboard combo would be the perfect solution. I just hope it won't hurt battery life too much.
Cool idea. Reminds me of my old Athena with the magnetic keyboard.

Xperia Keypad/keyboard

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a keypad/keyboard for the X1 and was wondering where I can get one. I've searched online but only could find sellers on ebay. My T & Y buttons are cracked so I want to get a replacement. Any suggestions where I can find one other than on ebay?
Thanks!
buy new x1,
Wow...seriously? Buy a new X1? How about you give me yours and you buy a new X1? Sound good, cool. PM me and we can set it up.
me too, i broke the space key. other keys were lost the characters. Find on eBay, it's terrible expensive ($15 for a keypad)
i woulda thought $15 was actually quite cheap :/
also ebay is really the only place
there's also here but thats only the PCB and not the keys, and is horribly expensive, although if you ever want to replace your housing, get it from there, because practically all the ebay housing are fake, i found out the hard way >.<

Car holder

I dont seem to find it anywhere... there must be somehow to hold this device in the car, when using as GPS....
I already have the charger, but finding a suitable car holder is a pain!!!
The ones you find (not original ones) usually mess around with some of the side buttons, like the cammera..... leaving them pressed alll the time......
Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!
Try this one from Nokia 5800 (original). I bought it and it fits very well. It's solid and very cheap (you can find it on ebay for something about 6 EUR). Only sometimes holder is pressing the volume down button but a quick regulation of phone solves this problem. As I said, I'm very pleased of this solution. I bought mine in Poland for 4 EUR.
I use one I got with my Nokia E52 (original car holder) and it's fits perfectly.
The easies way is to go to the nearest shop and try a few holders ourselfs, instead of buying one via Internet form someone who's claiming that it will fit.

List your Recommended HD2 Accessories

So I've decided to make one thread for All HD2 Accessories.
The idea is for users to list or suggest some of the best accessories you've owned and used during your time with your HTC and give a brief recommendation.
Car chargers, cases, screen protectors etc.
If an existing thread of this nature already exists - I apologize, my intention was not to create another needless one.
Please just simply re-direct me to it by the link of the preexisting one and close off this one - No hard feelings...
I think it's a better idea for a thread than the stickied film protector that sucks.
Anyway, my recommendation is the Otterbox Defender Case

Same. I'm pretty tall so the size doesn't bother me at all. If I were tiny then I could imagine the extra weight might be annoying, but I enjoy having the ability to clip it quickly to the holster. I'm also now really fast at removing it from the case in order to get to the microSD card to load up android builds directly to the card.
PS3 Controller, better and cheaper then most bluetooth pads.
In car holder, I use a cheap chinese one works fine.
THB bury bluetooth connection / HUD, good in car, read your messages/call lists/make calls/contacts ect.
here is my suggestion...
I got the first Hard Gel-case that was available and did not quite like it because it was not really perfect fit. Than at one occasion I've read I think here at XDA a post that was pointing towards this case (pics attached along with ebay item number) that was really good good fit for tmobile US HD2s ... and - ordered, and have it since... the best fit so far and serves me well.
ebay item number is: 330485183615
Hi,
Would you kind forumers give me some good suggestions on possible physical keyboard accessories that fits the HTC HD2 on an Android ROM?
I have been looking at a few and am still looking. I bought an old Freedom Pro Keyboard and found it a bit unstable to use (keys not registering certain presses). So please recommend what you are using if possible. Thank you!
My phone never leaves it's £3.99 Wallet home!
I'm already on my second one (I decided to replace it after six months as it was getting tatty, and at this price I can't complain). What's great is that it serves my need as a wallet, keeps all my valuables together, adds little bulk to the device (in the sense that it's also your wallet ), and my phone looks as good as new despite my occasional clumsy droppage. Definitely a must-have for me.
While on eBay I just saw a smarter one for £9,99 which I'm a little tempted by...
My DREAM accessory would be a genuine, larger-capacity, same physical-size battery, ah but we can only dream...
So after watching a couple reviews, I'm liking the otterbox defender case and I'm giving it some consideration... Just thought I drop a line, see if any feedback is given on this (positive or negative)
1. mugen 2600 mAh extended battery (must have...GET ONE !!!)
2. skull candy ear buds nice and loud for 13 bucks on sale!
3. 2 16gb's + 1 8gb for music
4. zagg screen protector
5. when not using the extended battery i use a thin rubberized 1 piece hard case mine is actually navy blue not black
Otterbox Defender..a must have for my work. very tough but makes the screen a little less sensitive, a small price to pay for good protection, i wish it was a little more dust and waterproof though.
HTC Oem flip case simple, cheap and works well
Desk Genie Non-Slip Charging Desk Stand..brilliant love this stand, again cheap but works well, bought this for my TP2 and still using it
Vikuiti (TM) DQC-160 best screen protector ive ever used, easy to install, would buy another if ever i needed to but 6 months and so far i dont!
Andida "1600" battery, so cheap i dont care if its 1200, good enough for a spare.
Motorola HT820 Bluetooth headphones...Old school but work flawlessly
IO Play bluetooth music streaming car kit...got mine for £60, pairs first time evertime, good voice quality and full A2DP, which is more than ive heard said for more expensive alternatives of the feathery kind!
HTC Car holder i got free with my TP2..tight but just fits
If i didnt really need to use the Defender everyday, I would have bought and extended battery, probably the offical one, but hey...
I'm looking for a soft rubber case like the case I have for my i900 Omnia.
I've just ordered an HD2 and I find this sort of case is ideal for satnav because I change cars a lot and I can plug the charger in and the phone lies flat on top of the dash without sliding off.
I haven't got the time or space to carry a proper cradle, but this works just fine.
It's made of soft, stretchy rubber a bit like the inner tube out of a tyre, with some texturing on the back which helps it grip - does anyone know what I am trying to describe?
my pocket.
^ What he said + Vikuiti (TM) screen protector.
I know I'm going to regret asking this but who or what is "my pocket" apart from the bleeding obvious?
Music Bluetooth headset
My recommendation is Bluetooth music headset ''MW600'' from Sony ericsson.
Its also been called or well it is a officially accesiore for the Sony ericsson Aino.
Cant remember and find the exact typenumber that the MW600 have for the Aino, so its has 2 type numbers.

I'd be glad if anyone could tell me.

1. OtterBox Defender (built in screen protector removed as below far better) £30
2. Vikuiti™ screen protector ADQC27 (Same as DQC160, but now anti-reflective too) £10
3. A couple of cheap spare batteries (never had problems with them myself) £3ea
4. Mains USB/Battery charger (replaces the HTC one and adds spare battery charging functionality) £3
5. Retractable Mini-USB cable (great for travelling when combined with above) £2
6. Komputerbay MicroSDHC 16GB Class 6 £30
