Seriously though, this looks really nice -- I think I might take it for a spin this weekend. Being stock-based, the various alternate kernels (hydra, king, adrynalyne) should all work, right?

It does look very nice and I can't seem to keep the same rom on for more than 2 days without being tempted by another. I think I should be able to restore the HTC news widget (the only one I love!!) and have the best of both worlds. I'll give you feedback after testing.

Just for you sir. I updated the OP with download links to all of the HTC widgets. Most of them can install just like any regular app. No need for update.zip or dropping files in /system/.

Gallery, Music, and video apps.
there are no sense media players. The google apps now read internal storage.

CM9 experemental P5110 Theme

i make a real pure black-blue theme with some tweaked animation fx for perfomance and reabillity! works only for the GT-P5110 cause the framework and settingsui filles are only for this device. i test it i use and works with zero problems.

its only for the P5110 ver cause i owned it, i may port it for P5113... but need to know is worth the time!

I figure that since most items that work on the 5110 work on the 5113, I will just try it as-is. This is a CM9 theme chooser theme, right?

nop m8 its system.apk and framework-res.apk mod.
i make the total black and blue theme, plus i mod some apps too like gmail,market,talk,caculator,clock,calender,google music,youtube.
i do it cause i love cm9 but the gray colour rips of my eyes

Found this dark theme for 5.0 on the nexus 5 forums. Looks sick. Anybody willing to port it? Lollipop can be a bit bright.

i agree, ill look at the theme this weekend but i have a feeling most of this is xml edits. which im not too familiar with.

oooooh thats why he left. His theme was quite nice though unfortunately you cant use all apks anymore but the contacts and dialer apk work on alot of roms still

This would be very nice and elegant on this device...

i took a look at the theme today, im not gonna be able to port it. its basically all xml edits. hopefully a talented dev can do this.

Looks like the new LiquidSmooth alpha has the dark UI theme, at least for the most part. Dialer is still white, but the settings and such are all nicely dark themed. FWIW

I'm on liquidsmooth mainly for the dark aspect (i hate that all white in Lollipop... )

You've got it wrong. We're talking about theming CM12. CM12 has no dark theme as of yet.

well, actually CM12 has a dark theme built-in with Liquidsmooth, DarkoBass and others ROM I don't remember... but not support theme engine right now :crying:
BUT, I think already at today, a theme for nexus 5 lolli 5.0 can be already port to flash into our cm12... But we need a badass dev that port it into our opo's (I suppose many changes in framework etc...)

I *might* port your theme over (granted I have permission) on one of the L themes here on the OPO. I say might because I have to juggle all 4 device's themes and it gets very tiring! Great theme though!

Looks smooth bro. Except for the toggles. They can be improved a bit. Maybe you can check the CM12 MIUI themes or an actual MIUI ROM and change it a bit.

I have to agree with him. Make it flat. Bevel or rounded **** is so old! We can try some sample cm12 themes here on xda itself. Let me try and find one.

Check the screenshots. I wish i had time to install these in my cm12 devices to get more SCs for you man. But ideally it should be flat and sweet!
But from the choices you have given... the second one is waay better than the first!

Icons seems smaller compare to real miui and statusbar theme not so elegant

Oh this looks so much better man! Good job!! Okay so the brightness slider should be the second one for sure! But I think it would look more MIUI to use a simple brightness slider and edit / settings / profile icons. Check this:

Ok So now that we have a mod for working boot animations thanks to this thread here so be sure to give
@stangdriver44 a quick how you doing and thank him in his thread. Anyway I thought I'd share some of my original work with you guys. So all you need to do is flash the zips I have and you'll be good to go.
For now no previews are gonna be posted but trust me when I say this, these are high quality animations (see my signature for an idea of what I do!) with on average 400+ frames in them. Some of these are animations I've made for my Cyanogen themes and others will just be ones I've made.

If anyone is using TekHd 2.4 rom, he has added a line in his build prop to speed up the boot animation. You lose some of the detail and mastery in these animations.
I personally like the full decepticon animation so i took that line out of my build prop.
You guys should delete that build prop line and watch these in full.
You can always add it back.
Mark... the Cyngn Inc boot is very cool with the decepticon boot up sound.
