how do I application-unlock my HTC S730??

I can't use any additional application,this is driving me crazy

Mind explaining a little more? Did you buy an unlocked version or one from a branded carrier? I wouldnt have thought any of these phones would have application lock outs? Could be the applications your trying to instal are not for smartphones? More info please!

I guess it's application-locked problem, when i try to install apps, it's been showed "Installation was unsuccessful.The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions." on phone Screen.

Can someone point me to the right tools for this phone? Bought it from Softbank in Japan. Can't seem to find the right tools to unlock application or SIM.

I bought my X03/730 directly from the softbank store in Tokyo. I do send and received emails in Japanese as well as english.

Anyone tried the deive security manager(not sure the name)?

I downloaded VS2008, and the Mobile 6 SDK, got everything installed, then ran the Device Security Manager and got this error

Yeah, VS2008 does not work.
And we need a cert. from softbank to unlock

Do not need to be fully unlocked, works well on L800 developer unlocked.

Hi, I'm new to the windows mobile scene and just picked up a carrier unlocked Lumia 800. Would I have to do anything to get this to work on my phone? Also are we able to get bootloader unlock yet and what about root?

to start off i'll say it's not Windows Mobile anymore, it's called Windows Phone ® now
this app only needs a dev unlock so, bootloader unlock won't be required..... you can dev unlock your phone with the instructions given in this thread:

am currently on the edge of madness with regards to the IsolatedStorage Explorer Tools. I've been using http://isostorespy.codeplex.com/ for month now without any problems but today it just suddently stopped working. After a bit of research i found that the command line version "ISETool.exe" also crashes without any explanation (see Screenshot)

I am using Windows 8.1 Pro x64. Does anyone know what the **** is going on with this and how i can fix it?

Did you upgrade your phone to WP8.1 or is it still on an 8.0 version? Have you tried reinstalling (or installing a newer copy of) the WP SDK?
Also, I can't translate the exception message, so I really don't know what the problem is aside from the self-explanatory nature of a "DeviceNotFoundException". Can you see the device with other tools (XapDeploy, WPPT, etc.) and for that matter does it show up in Explorer?

thank you for your reply. I am running WP8.0 and haven't upgraded yet. Repairing my Visual Studio 12 SDK didn't help, i am currently trying to install the 2013 version.

Yes it shows in the explorer and i can use it to run/debug my applications, Only getting access to iso storage doesn't help

I'm getting similar errors too. After a while I just started using Windows Phone Power Tools, it can do the same and it works for me..

Very odd. WPPT uses the same APIs as ISETool and (presumably, though I haven't checked) isostorespy. Hope it works for you, in the mean time I am not sure what the solution is.

hi guys . I tried and searched many times to find a way install Ativ camera and make it run on my ativ s but I didn't find any way to do that .
Now I have an unencrypted appx file of ATIV Camera and hope to find a way of installing this using this unencrypted file (downloaded from the store )
any of you guys have any idea about how to modify this to make it run ? or what registry tweeks we need to do that ?

When I installed it this app didn't work. It showed picture from camera but couldn't take a pic (button did nothing). App was looking like a prototype. It was several months ago.

If it works on Ativ SE i interested in running in to drivers on this phone

Weird, the ATIV Camera app is still available for download from the Microsoft Store, but other Samsung apps like RSS Times, Photogram and Artistic Effect are not.

I want to download the ROM 059X184 but NaviFirm+ is not working with the free account right now and the Nokia Care Suite is not working either with a unlocked conf file because of the "Access denied. Verify Credentials" message.
Do you know how can I get it for free?

You are using same device as mentioned product code on above post ?
Use "Windows Device Recovery Tool". It will detect your device very well and will download latest ROM.

You have don't follow correctly my tutorial.
The "NaviFirm Plus" window appears and also an superimposed window "Account Setup". As for this tutorial a free account is more than enough, simply click on the "Cancel button" (2) if you don't have a paid account.​http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/538644NaviFirm2Watermark.png
