after enable some modules that i'm sure are compatible with lollipop and reboot to activate them, my phone just stuck at the end of boot animation, can' t do anything at all, but luckily, i still can get the logcat; and if i reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik cache then reboot, my phone can now boot normally with all modules working fine, then the next time i reboot, it just got stuck at boot animation again
i have attached a logcat below
It might help to say what your phone is.

My out of the box Nexus 6 is now stuck looping on and off at the Google boot screen after it tried to install the system update.
I've used the toolkit 1.9.8 to go back to stock. It goes thru the steps appearing to show OKAY and finished at each step. It never reboots the phone at the end. I try to force reboot after waiting for several minutes and it still boot loops. I try again the process again and sometimes it loops and a few times it actually starts up to the welcome screen. However, if I try to root or update recovery (using the toolkit), I get the boot looping again.
Did google bork my phone during a failed update? Is there anything else I can do to completely restore the phone? I've also downloaded the images on google and flashed---same boot loop.
Ultimately, my phone is now booting up to the welcome screen as expected and shows LRX21O. BUT, if I try to do anything (root or recovery), boot loop results again.
(I was able to unlock the phone and know about the usb debug and OEM unlock settings in dev menu, fyi).
Hey guys,
I was using my phone today and decided to turn it off. I am currently on 5.1 and I am rooted on stock. When I turned it back on, I was kind of stuck on a boot loop but I can usually bypass this by holding down the power button until I feel a quick vibrate and then my phone starts doing the "Optimizing Apps...". However, it didn't do that this time so I decided to reboot my phone into recovery, wipe the cache and dalvik and restart. Again, stuck on the boot animation screen. So I just let it run its course and then all of a sudden I see my phone go to the home screen but my launcher is reset and I am running out of cache space. I decide to connect my phone to my computer and backup some files. As I backup the last of my DCIM folder, my phone reboots and all of a sudden I have the new Motorola boot animation with the stitching I guess. But then I'm stuck at the bootloop again.
Anyone else experience this or know how I can fix this? I reaaallly don't want to factory reset.
I recently did a reset via settings on a gen 1. No change in boot animation. I then did a reset via stock recovery and got the new animation. I then did another reset via settings and during the first boot it had the old animation but subsequent boots have the new animation.
I flashed a boot animation zip got from xda using cwm recovary, now when switching on the phone nothing showing on display and it vibrating in some intervals, i tried entering fastboot by pressing keys it succeed after several try, and entered recovary but i cant even clear cash because recovary closing and phone restarting immediately after i select any operation. after sometime i found a solution; entering fastboot and selecting factory is leading to bootup and there boot animation is showing and after it showing optimising apps and all my apps are done and phone is booted but next time when i restarting my phone the old thing is happening. how can i solve this, please help
Today I had to reboot my device and now my touchpad is stuck on the boot screen (the spinning logo). I used Clockworkmod to clear the cache and dalvik cache, but it doesn't seem to have done anything?
Sometimes I'll see the Android is Updating/Optimizing apps screen, but it'll stop and go back to the spinning logo boot screen.
If I leave it running for a long time, will it boot into the system? Is there anything I can do to recover the system? I'd like to avoid deleting everything if I can.
Edit: after 10 minutes or so it booted into the system but then it immediately restarted and went back to the spinning logo again...
Thanks.
A bit of an update. I restored an old backup I happened to have and it worked... up until the tablet started to update itself. At some point, it rebooted and was stuck on the boot screen again, so I am assuming that some update is causing the problem.
Is this fixable or should I just move to a different ROM at this point?
I tried installing a custom ROM and rooting my Tab A 10.1 2019 and now it is stuck in a bootloop and will not turn off. What happens:
1. I get the Galaxy Tab A screen
2. Get a message about boot loader unlocked
3. Tablet starts showing the Samsung logo loading screen
4. Tablet restarts
I can't get it to break this loop, it won't even turn off., just keeps looping. Any advice?
When you see the boot-up logo quickly use adb to reboot into recovery and re-flash
Hi. How did manage the problem.? I have mine at the same behavior. Cable was dettached while flashing with Odin.
Can you still boot-up at all? i.e. does any boot screen show up? If the screen turns on make sure its plugged in and then use ADB reboot recovery to get back into recovery if it hasn't been overwritten. From there you can mount storage if its TWRP and push files to your device for the ROM, and then flash from recovery. Also you could try to find an app that can fully restore your device to factory, I know there are apps that can do that. Good luck bro. Try drfone?
