[Q] Porting help m8-m7?

My names junior i have a question is there a way to port a rom from the htc one m8- to the htc one m7? i have both roms i also attempted to just try to flash the m8 rom on the m7 but no luck....
if someone can help me do it myself i would really appreciate that or can someone make the rom for me?

Rooting help and Vanilla UI roms for HTC One m7

Hi, I unlocked the bootloader easily but cant for the life of me root my HTC One m7 even with all the step by steps and youtbe vidoes. So im asking for help with that and also recommendations on the best UI, preferably a vanilla one for my phone aswell. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
