Hello, does anyone know a working method for rooting the Xolo A500S? Here's a link to the device if you want to see which device I am talking about :

I found threads which were about rooting the Xolo A500 but none for A500S. In fact, I couldn't find anything related to this device on xda-forums which is sad. I hope this will, at least catch some attention of developers and experimenters.

Apart from the generic warning about how one is always susceptible to bricking of one's device for trying to root his device, how safe is this?
I root spice mi 525, micromax canvas 4 and other 4 to 5 smartphone by this app successful.

It worked!! It didn't work at first with the SuperUser Installation post rooting but it worked with SuperSU post rooting! Thanks!
Now, how can we gain access to a flashable stock kernel and ROM images for the same model? Or does anyone have them?
Has anyone tried unlocking the bootloader for this (or similar) devices?
Try with supersu and restart device.

Thanks. Like i said, it worked already with the supersu app. Ahh now of only we could get the stock rom and kernel for this device.

Hai,
If it is CM10 based, you can use XposedFramework with the GravityBox module.
If you don't know how to do that there are some tutorials out there, feel free to ask if you cannot get it work

Its a Beta version so it have minor bugs like this. Maybe solves in next version. (BETA4) Till then no solution.

Try changing Recovery and use 5.1 gapps only.

Its a bug and temporary solution is to edit build.prop Change Multisim dsds to none

I did same as your suggestion. I disabled sim 2. Even though if someone calls me on that number he can hear the ring and here i don't get any notification as i have already disabled it. So it creates more confusion.

First flash beta 2 then reboot setup everything like Google account etc. Then flash BETA3 over it and don't wipe or factory reset just flash it as an update. Maybe it works. As worked for me
