Hi,
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 3 AT&T version. It is unlocked (but not rooted) and can be used with other networks. It was out of USA for about a year. Recently I brought it back. I am not using it on AT&T network (infect there is no SIM Card in it). It's current android version is 4.3. I tried to update to the latest version but it don't. I have tried using Wi-Fi and Samsung kies. Can someone please help me to update it to latest android version
Thanks

Hello all! So I current have a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3, but I will be switching over to AT&T soon. I know that T-Mobile will unlock the phone for me, and I am assuming it will work on the AT&T network. My question is when I switch over to AT&T, I will be able to receive the OTA updates for my Note 3 from the AT&T network without a problem, correct? Also, are there specific AT&T apps that I will be able/need to download?
Thank you!!

You have to use Odin to flash the t-mobile firmware after you download it, or grab a Sim from t-mobile. Our you can always grab the update.zip if someone is nice enough to package it and flash in the stock recovery.

*bump* anyone?
Impossible. The Verizon variant can only have the latest Verizon firmware installed

Does this mean the SM-925V is useless in Mexico?
I cannot seem to pickup LTE and I keep getting "SIM Card is not from Verizon"
I'm trying to use a Telcel SIM card.
Seems I was thinking the same as the above, using something like PingPong to switch.
You need to add the apn manually. Then deactivate notification of verizon service

Hello everyone new here.
I currently have a AT&T Unlocked Galaxy S5 running android version 4.4.4 Build: KTU84P. G900ACUCU2A0A1. And I've been wanting to update it to the most recent android version 5.1.1 and then to 6.0.1 when that is released. I've read that with a lot of people they have problems with the wifi hotspot not working on a unlocked S5 G900A while using a different carrier, but for me it works perfectly fine with my T-Mobile sim since I've owned the phone, and I've used it everyday, phone is not rooted as far as I know. The question is if I were to manually install the stock updates to 5.1.1 will that mess up that feature and make it so I can't use it anymore?
I'm assuming the phone is from a different carrier if so then go to your apn and u have to change ur numbers around to what ur carriers Mac address it's actually really easy

I have a Galaxy Note 9 that was originally an AT&T Phone in USA. I purchased it unlocked in Canada and I use it on Fido Network. The Baseband version is N960USQU1CSAA. It is running One UI 1.0 and Android 9. Is there any way to root this phone? Do I have to use same baseband version?
