I recently soft brick my S5830 running in Froyo...
i flash the Philz Touch Recovery but it corrput my recovery...
my phone is nt opening ..
but ican go to downlaod mode but the problem is that my pc does not recognised.. i dont know why??
i have others samsung phones in my pc .
Help me... to get my pc recognised it

Usually if you don't install USB Driver,pc won't recognized your phone
Just install it and you good to go

Can you still access download mode?
Kernel have nothing to do with the download mode.
So if you cannot connect with odin is something related to your pc.

Start by getting a JIG and see if that works. They are really cheap.

Never use rom manager...it does not support our device..
And search the forum before posting...use unbrick or if still it doesnt solve the prblm go to samsung centre so that they can replace ur device or motherboard..
EDIT --- Can u go into download mode? Can odin detect the device? Hav u installed kies before so that ur drivers are installed? Is ur usb cable workin?
If ur answer is yes to all the questions...u can try flashin stock firmware using odin..

I have galaxy ace plus GT S7500 going dead brick n not detec to PC after instal ATOMIC rom and OC (over Clock)
I've been trying to fix it with box flasher RIFF JTAG to unbrick.....
Now my device already detec on PC n want tobe ON....but the problem is a blank screen and vibrating always when i was try to download mode and cannot to flash with ODIN
Please mastah...help me.....:crying::crying:

I'm not sure if you already tried this:
Remove batery
connect phone to pc
put phone in Download mode (while the battery is still removed.))
Flash with ODIN.
Are you able to get into recovery mode ?

Sorry bro, your Ace+ is now RIP. I used Smniller (or someone spelled equivalent to this ) no my Mini and Ace before. Theyre still dead

The Ace+ is a lot more sensitive to ROM flashes, and it bricks easily.
Yes, your phone is now dead. You can send it off to Samsung for repair - just say it died whilst it was charging. DO NOT TELL THEM YOU WERE FLASHING WITH ODIN.

i tried removing battery n connecting to pc while holding buttons for download/ recovery mode but both modes appear for few seconds..
say only for 10 seconds n then odin dsnt detect my phone..

yah ryt its already bricked..if only u could go to download mode thats the only option u can recover ur pone..how about try the jtag for force ur phone to downlaod mode and be ready the files neede like : stock firmware, odin..etc..
I once used the GAce and got the exactly same prob as op. Basically, yes it is bricked, unfortunately, and u should send it to repair.

Are you sure you cannot go into the download mode aka ODIN mode?
Volume down+Home button+Power button simultaneously
And if you are not be able to go into it, omg the only solution is to send it to a repair shop where JTAG exist A technician used a JTAG on my Xperia X10 Mini Pro when it got Hardbricked but thankfully, it brought back to life. Goodluck to you
Hello, today when i tried to install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48806481#post48806481 (CWM Recovery), i bricked my phone .
I have bootloop with samsung logo . I cant boot phone to normal mode or recovery . The "ARM9" and download modes are working.
I tried to install stock rom with odin, but its stucked on "setupConnection" step.
Is there any way how to fix & bring my phone to life again?

Do you have an older version of cwm on ur phone?
Switch off ur phone and try to boot into recovery..

Can you boot into download mode if it is yes you can use Odin to recover your phone.

As you can see in first post, when i try to install stock ROM via Odin, it stops on step "setupConnection" .

I tried it on Windows 8 , but it was not recognized (unknown device) and it wasnt in Odin, on windows 7 it was recognized bud stucked ... i dont have more computers. I tried 2 different cables , but none was original (i dont have original, so i tried cables from sony and prestigio.
Today i spent 8 hours trying to repair my phone ... still not working . Are here any experienced users that can help me?

If you can't fix your device via odin you need JTAG

Have you got the Samsung's drivers installed on your computer? I assume you are using the corret Odin version, so let's go you can try it
Prepare you computer to use Odin and flash a new rom, remove battery and connect your galaxy ace to your computer. Then insert the battery holding VOLUME DOWN + POWER + HOME BUTTONS. Odin should detect your device, (Yellow rectangle) so you are ready ro START the process
