yeah good luck on that is your phone rooted yet? if its rotted then flashing a recovery can be done! Then your a hop, skip, and a jump away from dropping 2.2 on it!
No i hve not rooted.pls tell how to root it.

I have no idea lol I'm on an evo I don't even know what kind of file system it has or the lock setup and thats something you'll have to speak to a coder about someone who can beat the lock system. If the phone is old it's probably already been done on another droid forum website you just have to find that! Have you looked at all for a root tutorial on your phone?
Thnks for info

Is viber off? I just search in market n there cant find it. I searched for it last week and it is still there

Viber on the Android Market
If you can't access or find it, maybe your carrier blocked it?
Try installing Market Enabler; should give you access to all apps on the Market. However, if your carrier is blocking free VoIP software (because it either hurts their business or puts too much burden on their mobile network) it's up to you to find out if the program will actually work after installation.
Tried market enabler, still cant find. I even download the apk from a site, n when i want to install it it says app not install. Maybe it is coz of the rom. Gonna try using diff. rom

GingerDX v021 (+Android Market 3.3.12) finds Viber just fine - and installation also works fine.
So ... yes, maybe it's related to the ROM you're using.
Yes,i also think it's because of your rom.
Sent from my W8 using XDA App
Solved it. I reflash the rom and then flash the google apps in minicm thread...

Depending on the firmware version, ExynosAbuse should do the trick (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2050297).
I got DVALI6 so would be safe? I dont want to end up with a dead phone.

Do a little more search then just asking laying on your back.
Anyway look for threads in the development section.. there is a few topics that would help you. The titles are self explainatory.
A little digging is good.. then you will learn in deapth and perhaps solv a few things your selfe.
Good luck

I did search but can't find one explaining how to do it via phone. Funny how people praise the search button and it barely helps.

Sorry.. dont want to be rude.
But if you read a little more in the forum you will ensure you dont destroy your phone soon.
The easy way then:
1: Buy mobile odin from play or find the creators xda thread and download for free
2: Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914394
Download I9305_CWM_Recovery.tar.md5 to your phone.
3: run mobile odin from your phone.
In mobile odin, scroll down a bit and chose "Open file..." choose the sdcard you downloaded the file to. Now brows to the prev. downloaded file I9305_CWM_Recovery.tar.md5 and run. Dont check any boxes.
Done
But if you want to understand the deapth of the dangers you could encounter and prevent , check this thread from xda:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1967124
All links are from xda.

You can get mobile odin and flash either cwm, philz or twrp recovery with it. Just make sure you download the .tar file. Once that's done you will have a recovery you can flash zips in

If you want it so bad then why don't you try to make it happen?
Since there is root, it shouldn't be impossible to start by dumping partitions and share them to make it available for whoever want's to take a look at it.

I have a G730A and I want CyanogenMod 10.2. I am willing to help develop and test. I have very basic programming skills, and some Linux skills (currently do not have Linux installed though). If I am told what to do I can research how to do it and get it done. I just need instructions.
And if having linux is going to make it way easier, I can install it. I prefer Ubuntu but I can work with Fedora.
i had my device rooted until i updated and that ruined it i couldnt root it again tried alot of things to flash old kernel all required root so if anybody could help i am also trieng to get fastboot and bootloader to work tho i need su=root
Edit well sombody just tell me how to unlock bootloader without root or a way to root with the new kernel? Without bootloader?
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.
Stand by
Good luck

One other thing not mentioned by @bravho or anyone else is there is NO possibility of saving your data when flashing a KDZ as it contains the entire device file system. As in radio, modem, bootloader, etc...
I thought that might be the case but about the img should i continue normally
