I also had that problem before.it is the only bug in stock rom
solution: factory reset your phone and at start when the setup guide appears configure your Gmail account at that point. if you do it later it won't work .so do it at the first boot.
don't forget to click thanks:good:
Flash/Re-Flash Google Apps or Re-Install Market APK.
Also you can log in your Google account by clicking on the calendar app.

I tried installing Google launcher its not showing up when i try to change, it only shows up default launcher is that any bug i saw there was no proper solution to this issue/ I tried removing and reinstalling rebooted the phone thrice still no good default launcher is there not the Google now.
Hi, I have been through this long time. I'll explain what I did do try it.
Install the latest version of all the gapps related to now launcher (voice search ,search ,now launcher)
Now goto security app in and find the gapps listed there. You will find that a few of the gapps have not been permitted with a few permissions. Grant them the permissions.
Do this for ALL the gapps listed over there including the services and framework.
Now reboot and find the now launcher inside ur launchers list.

Try installing a older version of gel. Once u set it as ur default launcher u can later update it to the latest version through playstore. That worked for me!
After installing Google Now Launcher, go to Settings app. Then Display -> Default launcher. Then select Google Now Launcher from there. It seems there is a bug when selecting 3rd party launchers as default outside of the settings app

Download this new modded apn - config.xml file, go to system, etc. Folder find and delete file and replace it with this file set permissions, reboot and it will recognize data automatically.

1)CWM RECOVERY preferred
2) Flash via recovery
3) Aroma installer; In Device select I9505 & for kernel use imperium &the rest I'd your preference.
4) 1st boot drag sprint voicemail app to app info and clear data &disable.Then go to phone app settings and set your ph# for voicemail & save. Once save Enable Sprint voicemail app and set it up it will download all avatars.
5) Go to APN app and activate the last APN back out and reboot. Data sometimes take awhile to appear.
FIXES: added Sprint apn's.Config.xml, speaker Volume increased, Sprint lib files to fix sms mms, build.prop edits, replaced several frameworks to fix signal bar and in call dialer (thanks to JDS3118)

Hi just wondering if it was possible to get a build.prop for the 720t? I believe that's why my 4G isn't working on this rom because of the spark Internet. I chose the correct apn but can't get data for some reason

Just flashed it with kt twrp working perfectly waiting on app download will restart to test Apn. Voice mail provisioned on start up but took your steps anyway.
Edit: everything is working not in area for lte but 3g connected

Did you follow the instructions for data. If so, try go in apn app enter bearer and toggle between lte save go back in and select unspecified and save. Go to mobile network select lte/cdma then toggle mobile data on and off.

S Health
So out of everything I have tested, everything is working great. But I did notice that when you start S Health it shows the welcome screen but you never can click the Next button to get past it. If I update it to the latest version from the Samsung store same story. And if I restore my Titanium Backup of S Health it just gets stuck on the green start up screen when trying to run S Health.

In the apn app delete the Sprint - LTE and create a new one. That worked for me

Same here but it was working fine last night prior to the update I did this morning. I think the update messed it, up could be wrong though

You're right. It was working fine until the update from the samsung store. I tried to copy the libs and apks from a different ROM to get S Health to work but I think I made it worse I will go back to the original apk for S Health and just not update

Known problems/not working:
- Camera app build in is not working, but other camera apps from play store are working. I tried 'open camera'. Front- and backcamera is functional. When you followed flash instructions, stock camera is replaced by open camera. Lockscreen icon starts open camera then. Even Whatsapp and other apps can use it directly. In Whatsapp you have to click the 'add media' icon, instead of the camera icon next to text field.
FAQ:
- Android 6.0 offers users a more granular rights management. When your browser can't write files to sdcard (for example), check rights of browser in 'app info'. If it's not activated, give browser rights to access storage.
- Setup wizard: when sim card detection gets lost in setup wizard, just finish setup wizard normally and restart phone and it should work again.
Download TWRP 2.8.7.0 Recovery Only TAR. In case you want to downgrade to cm12.1 or you get errors like bootloops you can flash this file with odin in download mode.

dont permissions download apk or anythink from browser. ı cant any transfer by pc. ı install apps from google play working this.
But access to external sd is working? To be specific: I only have this one phone and I need it for specific tasks so for me the minimal requirement for testing would be
1. Install apps (I rely on my business calendar, logcat...)
2. Bluetooth working
3. Access to sd card
4. Possibility to go restore my latest nandroid of 5.1 if anything goes south...
I could gladly test the rest...

In any case it's not normal behavior and it needs to be fixed.
App install is possible, when app only needs data directory. some expect sdcard memory.
system, data & external sdcards are mounted normally. but samsung decided to split internal memory in data and internal sdcard (only they understand what this is good for). internal sdcard (sdcard0) gets not mounted now. google changed mounting of sdcards with android 6.0. I need to find the right configuration for this special setup in i9100g device.
Google Dialer (Phone)
With Google's Phone application you can block spam and other unwanted calls. It also features enhanced caller ID. These are just a few of the features missing from the OP3's default dialer. Unfortunately Google does not allow installation of the app on non-Nexus devices like the OP3. To get around this, I've created a flashable zip that will install the Google Dialer (Phone) application and the requisite dialer framework. Installation instructions are as follows:
flash dialer_with_framework-2016-10-18-11-15-31.zip in recovery (if you are on a OOS 3.5+ ROM or encounter issues, try mounting /system first)
grant desired permissions to the app, e.g. Contacts (to see your contacts and use speed dial), Phone (to see call log), Storage (in order to change ringtone), Location (to enable nearby places search)
go to Settings/Apps/Default Apps and select the new Phone app
disable the old Phone app
disable the InCallUI system app (OOS 3.5+ ROMs only!)
Alternatively, you can flash only the dialer framework and sideload the Google Dialer application as a user app. You can find APKs at https://github.com/opengapps/all/tree/master/priv-app/com.google.android.dialer/23/nodpi or http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-phone/.
Note, you can also install the Google Dialer (Phone) and Dialer Framework via the Open GApps aroma installer, but I'd strongly advise against this on stock ROMs as it will significantly modify your existing GApps installation in the process.

I've also attached a flashable zip to install Google's Contacts application as a system app. This release features contact groups, a more compact layout, and support for merging duplicate contacts. If you prefer, you can sideload it as a user install instead. APKs are available at https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-contacts/.

What's the birthday function? I don't think so.
Google Dialer is very similar to the stock OP3 dialer except it has the following additional settings menus:
Call blocking (calls from these numbers will be blocked and voicemails will be automatically deleted)
Caller ID & spam (show useful information when you make or receive a call, such as name for a number not in your contacts or a warning when an incoming call is suspected to be spam)
Nearby places (when you search from the phone app, this feature will use your location to find nearby places that match your query)

You don't need root, but you do need a custom recovery. For more information, see steps 1 and 2 of http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/oneplus-3-how-to-unlock-bootloader-t3398733. From there you just boot into recovery and "Install" the downloaded zip.
@fadedout with regard to birthday function, most dialers&contacts apps offer the possibility of putting the birthday date of your contacts in edition mode. In this way, the calendar and agenda will notify you about it. However, it is not possible in the native dialer&contatcs. That's why I asked you

You can add the birthday dates of your Google account contacts in the OP3's stock contacts app. It will then show up in Google Calendar. I don't think it has anything to do with the dialer.
@fadedout Firstly , I really apreciate your reply. You are right, that is what I expected. However I cant add birthdays dates because that field doesn't exist in my native contacts app. Theoretically, if I import my contacts from a file, birthday dates should be showed but there is not a field to put that information in my contacts stock app. If i click on "more fields", the birthdays are not showed. I can't understand why i can't see that field.

Is that contact stored on "PHONE" or a specific Google account? If it's stored on "PHONE", it will be missing fields like the birthday/anniversary date field and also the relationship field. So you may need to transfer them to a Google account. To see what I mean, create a new contact and compare the different fields that are available with "SIM Card contact", "PHONE contact", and "Google account" contact.

Oh, ok! I understand it now. Yeah, that's the reason. I have my contact list stored in the Internal memory of the phone, not in Google. So, due to it's an integrated app in Google system, it gets the information from Google account. Ok, thanks so much, mate. I'm busy now, but I'll install the app as soon as possible. I love it! ?

In my current setup I can choose which Sim to use for each call..

Works great so far, thanks for providing this.
Only problem I face after disabling the standard phone application is that the in-call UI is also gone, but I can live with that.
Edit: Nevermind, after setting the Google Dialer as default as you wrote the in-call UI is now working as it should.
flashed it via recovery, and there is no new phone app installed - ?? what just happend?
