Volume hack possible? - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

I've asked in the aicp thread but no answer so far, so maybe here i'll ask again:
Is it possible to increase the in call and speakerphone volumes for lollipop roms?
Have googled it but seems like all the solutions are for kk roms.
Hope its possible, The aicp rom is working great but the volume is a bit of a deal breaker for my dad.. Poor hearing i'm afraid.

Low volume bug in CM 7?

This is driving me crazy, I'm not sure if its as a result of the dt beta script or cm itself, all my notifications, ringers and sound coming out of the loud speaker are low, a few restarts fix it but its driving me crazy.. can anyone help...
Noticed it on the official cm and unofficial versions as well
Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
Yes it is the DT script. I hear the older official one works fine, but the newer beta's have the low volume bug.
The consensus that every other restart will have low volume, so if I have to reboot, I just do it again.
Also worth trying an audio boost (AB) kernel. I've moved on from dt a2sd to s2e from the market.
havent messed with this personally
but if its really bugging you this might be able to ease the pain a bit

Can anyone suggest any 'good' solution? kernel or otherwise to fix this $#@$# 'bug' of low in-call volume in Nexus One??
Would really appreciate all the help!

[Q] Noise cancellation on phone?

I'm running v20l stock (rooted) and am experiencing a ton of noise (almost like the phone is on speaker when I make a call. The other person can hear almost everything in the room (every little noise) almost like the speaker on the LG is too sensitive. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or missed a step or what I can do to resolve.
I bought this phone and it had Cyanogen nightly on it and I had some issues and wanted to go back to retail stock but this can't be the norm?
I'd value any advice as to what I can install / do to fix it or alternatively, if there are good rom/kernel bundles that seem to do a better job, I'd appreciate the advice.
Thanks!
Isn't there a simply toggle to lower the volume of your mic ?

Not that I've been able to find. I'm running Cyanogenmod now as well but there dont' seem to be options anywhere for that.
Maybe this can help you:

[Q] Vid recording mic sensitivity

Hi all, thanks for any help you guys can provide, I have a 4.3.1 on slimbean w/TWRP recovery, Ive read around on threads some issue w/the noise cancelling secondary mic causing issues on the HO. Ever since I rommed to slimbean, (i dont think i was having issues before on stock) my playback sounds have been very low/poor, things like fb have to be max cranked up to hear, through the phone speakers same + i hear crackling. I think its low on the sound memo recordings too but i have no phrame of ref. Wondering if any one has suggestions of what can be done before i decide to revert to stock UI or try a different rom, kinda sorta like this slim rom or maybe im just used to it, im humbled by your alls knowledge and hope i can contribute back in the future...

[Q] Sound issues CM12

Hello everybody!
I'm new on this forum.
I've been searching for a solution on the internet but I didn't find interesting/working things.
So I ask my question here.
Is it possible to increase a little the sound on CM12? Because since I'm using this rom, I don't ear my phone ringing when I receive messages. I looked at a lot of solution for CM10 and CM11 but the files they're talking about doesn't exists on CM12.
Moreover my led notifications seems to be less shining than on Sony rom.
I'm under CM12, CM12 kernel and PhilZ recovery.
Sorry for my bad english...
Waiting for an answer.
Best regards
Blamao.

speaker volume on cm 12 is very very loud. maybe you have to make a clean install or just check volume of ringtone AND notifications in settings.
or you have set notifications to "priority" or to "none"
and led brightness is a known bug
maybe try here next time http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/general/rom-official-cyanogenmod-12-nightlies-t3007118
best regards, Mo
I already did 2 clean install but I have the same problem.
Moreover, I checked if I had set notifications to "priority" or to "none" but I didn't.
Maybe it comes from my ears.
Thx for led brightness, I will wait for a fix.
Thx for the link.
Best regards.

Speakerphone custom rom

Dear friends, after three years of excellent custom rom for our S10, the problem is always there: the volume of speakerphone (and only this, not the speaker volume of music or ringtone) is low. Very low.
About 20% of the volume of stock rom.
The problem is universally known but there isn't still a solution.
At least a solution that you can find here or in other forum.
Really we must believe that none has found a workaround to have a decent volume speakerphone on lineageos based rom?
