I'm on stock, and rooted and after installing xposed and wanam the indicator for wifi calling doesn't show up in the status bar anymore. Has anyone else seen this?
There is a wifi calling icon removal option in wanam. Maybe it is checked.
I don't see that option in wanam. Can you point me in the right direction?

Sorry buddy, it was in gravity box. Statusbar then ongoing notification blocker. So many tweaks I got it mixed up.

Anyone know of an app that will give me swipe functionality for the toggles on the notification bar? For example, swipe the wifi button to open the wifi settings?
Thanks!

ive never thought about that before... that sounds awesome, i want one too!
I want to remove the crossed out GPS icon when my GPS isn't running, I've searched for exposed modules to no avail, I also would like to remove other icons of its easy/possible like the "lte" icon when the spark Sun is up...

Are you unlocked, rooted and S-off? Can't do much if you're completely stock. If you're rooted, you can use Xposed Framework, install GravityBox (KK), and hide the icon that way. Or you can use Venom Tweaks (not sure if that only works on the Viper ROM or not).
The LTE Spark icon is a single unit, so you can't remove just the letters. You can see the International Icons pack thread in the Themes forum for Sprint M8 to get the simplified icons for that (no Sun).

Are you trying to disable only the "GPS off" icon, while keeping the "GPS on" icon? I'm not sure if that's possible, but hiding GPS Icon should remove both. I never turn off GPS myself, so I didn't even notice there was an icon for it being off.

Yeah, sorry, it seems GravityBox no longer has the icon hiding function it had. What you found works, but so does Sense 6.0 Toolbox that you can't get through Xposed downloads directly. Search in XDA and you can find that. Has a lot of functionality.
Just got a moto 360. I want to use it as a trusted device, but don't want that icon in my notifications bar at all times. Is there a way to get rid of the notification but keep it as a trusted device?
Touch and Hold on the notification. App Info -> Hide Notifications

Tried that and the check box is grayed out and doesn't allow me to change it.

It's part of Android System, which is probably why you can't disable it. If you're rooted, Gravity Box (Xposed module) has an Ongoing Notification Blocker that will allow you to hide specific icons. I've disabled this one and the keyboard switcher, both are part of Android System.
The one in the status bar to the left. What does it mean, and is it possible to remove it?

From left to right
NFC, silent phone, alarm clock, cell signal, battery, battery, time.

You can certainly disable NFC, it should be visible in the notification pull-down. If not, click on the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the pull down, next to the "gear" icon.

That's NFC icon.
To disable it goto;
settings -- wireless and networks/ connectivity -- NFC (uncheck the box)
Your done!
If you aren't sure what NFC is, it allows for contactless payment using Google Wallet, as well as the ability to tap phones together to share content.

Thank you for the quick responses. I do know what nfc is, I just never find an occasion to use it, so I've never seen the icon before. It seemed to just pop up out of nowhere, and I wasn't aware that I had turned it on inadvertently.

Can I set it transparent without root? I had it on 5.1.1 but is gone after latest update to MM. Quite often I use power saving mode and grey status bar drives me crazy. It probably doesnt save power anyway.

Yes, that grey bar on top is super annoying. Here's to hoping someone knows how to do it
The grey bar drives me a little crazy too. I was so used to the transparent one. My phone pretty much stays in Power Saving mode so if there's no workaround for it then I'll just have to deal.
Yeah gray bar is stupid.

What apps does this even show up? The only one I have seen it happen is the stock internet app which caused me to start using Chrome.
Use Nova Prime.

Turn off your " Power Saver " is the only way without root.
