I'm from Spain and i found a firmware from samfirmware "XWKTN" ,on the countries i saw spain,so i flashed XWKTN from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551586 cause it 100%safe
After that Everything went well but everytime i turn off my phone, when i turn it on
it takes alot of time to reboot
and my phone is lock from a network Movistar
help please....
hEY
Hey dude.. i dunno much but if you go to sammobile you'll see the network lock option there you can unlock the network thing from there
if it doesn't work then flash a new firmware and for the slow loading problem install startup manager and unchecked the items you don't want to load from startup..
hope it helps..
Hi, did you wipe before flashing ?
I'm using the same firmware, thought I'm in Italy, but I have'nt slowness problem in boot......what was the previous firmware ?

hmmm jvkt1 was my previous firmware
Samfirmware lists 2 rom with JTK1 code, for Morocco and for Turkey......
anyway .....
I use the same firmware and I have no particular problems to boot, but I flashed the full version.
The only thing that comes to mind is related to the fact that you used the firmware without the bootloader ..... maybe something did not work well ....
Did you wipe before flashing ?
I guess there are a lot of cache files to be loaded everytime..
And that usually happens with Stock ROMS..
just flash a custom ROM dude..
increase the phone's performance..
android phones are made for this..
Maybe your firmware you used have something promblem with your previsious boot loader file.
try to reflash your phone with full version firmware or you can use one package of firmware XWKTN.
Sorry for my bad english

If there were any problems with boot-loaders, the phone wouldn't have turned on at all right??
it would've created bot-loops
Try do reflashing with other firmware. If the device works well with other firmware, then reflashing again with XWKTN. It should be works fine too.
The device bootloop? Just do wipe data / cache in recovery mode.

Downloaded and installed the official OTA update 81.5.39001.XT890.Retail.en.GB atop my RAZR i's 81.5.31002.XT890.Retail.en.GB. Ever since flashing the update, everything works fine except the telephony/mobile data features. It's not recognizing any SIMs. I saw a line during the flashing process that mentioned something about the radio data being rewritten (as part of the installation process) along with ifiw (???) and a bunch of other stuff, maybe that has something to do with this? If yes, how do I make it revert to the original radio data?
How do I make my phone a PHONE again and not a tiny Wi-Fi-only tablet?
HELP!

Tried the wiping cache/data and formatting system bits, didn't help.
A good tutorial for using RSDLite on the RAZR i would be nice.
Download the last rsdlite (6.0.4 i think) and the GB firmware http://sbf.droid-developers.org/smi...17.0R_USASMIICSRTGB_P042_A005_S1FF_fb.xml.zip
Install the motorola driver on your computer, boot your phone in fastboot mode and connect it to your computer.
To finish open rsdlite, you'll see your phone connect, and open the "xml" file you had download before.
Click start and wait, your phone will reboot 2times and after you'll see "finished" on rsdlite.
That's all

Rather unlikely, it was working perfectly fine until I flashed the OTA. And no, I tried another microSIM from another operator, that doesn't work either.
Tried flashing http://modmymobile.com/staff/pzyduck/Leaks/XT890/CFC_signed_customer_8.7.1I-110_IFW-31_RTGB.xml.zip. Still dead. :|

Sigh...no. I had to sell it off as an iPod Touch-replacement.
Strange I had the same issue but it solved by itself, did anyone try returning it to the carrier?
Hi,
I have the logo for the emergency calls but the mobile is connected to a network! How is it possible?? i tried to make calls but the message about emergency calls only appears.
I did the next test:
Remove the sim from the phone
Introduce the sim in a nexus and i did a call
Remove the sim from the second phone and introduce it again in my razr i
after introduce my pin, i could see for a second my carrier name and signal but suddenly appears the red triangle
Any idea?
Regards and Thanks
i think that thats a problem with the operator cause i had that problem here in mexico for a whole day and at night suddenly came back all my signal i tried installing like 3 different fastboots and no luck at the end i left the 40002.rt.eu. and it came the signal at night. who knows what causes this

You do realise that if for example your phone had TMobile ROM on it it will download the TMobile ROM in that tutorial. I have done it myself. I am with Telstra (in Australia) and I followed that tutorial and as soon as I flashed the ROM I downloaded I saw the Telstra splashscreen.

Just to clarify further. It would be three firmware. Three would be pised off if sony unbranded everyone lol. They have carrier agreements. So your ftf would be three branded

I am afraid I am a noob here on that. I had just followed the tutorial to the T and created a FTF that can be flashed with flashtool. Been using this for the past two weeks when ROMs can't be rooted/CWM can't be installed.

All I'm saying is that I followed the tutorial word for word and VipeR lx is right when he clarified things up that if your XZ is branded you would still get the downloaded ROM branded, just like what happened to me. Luckily there's a unbranded ROM for Australia which made it possible for me to de-brand my XZ. I do have the Telstra ROM saved so if ever I had to send it away for warranty repairs I can always flash the Telstra ROM back.
Me too. I used the update services software to download. After downloading the file and flashing with flash tool, there is no indication that this firmware is linked to any Telco.
Maybe if someone can flash and report?

Once the screen dims and try to go off, the demo video starts up. I don't know how to get rid of this even after I flash my original FTF's system :'(

Strange, bro.
Did you even manage to get into the setup? 5 steps to setting up your phone? I had that demo video. but after setting up the phone, all is well.
I had tried this firmware a few times after installing ROMs that are based on the 434, as somehow, I lose 3G with these ROMs. I couldn't even root the phone with the method described.
So I flashed back to the stock 350 firmware and root the phone and install the CWM recovery in the phone again.

I wanted to debrand as mine is attached to SingTel. I flashed this over my existing setup and didn't do a wipe. Now it has screwed up that I can't turn the screen off at all (finally I killed that some demo application and off now). Luckily didn't loose data except the home screen setup.
I will have to reinstall the whole thing tonight.
Is that the retail demo you are talking about?

U did flash with flash tool and not recovery right? If you do flash with flash tool, all data is lost.
I think this is unbranded as the apps from M1 which I got this phone from is not present in the FTF after flashing with flash tool.

Who knows maybe the M1 apps in your phone was not integrated to the ROM and it was only installed on top. I can't really tell. I just know that when I did the tutorial I still got the Telstra ROM.
Also using the Flashtool you have a choice of wiping data if you don't untick the boxes before you flash.
EDIT:
There is the
(FTF) C6603 10.1.A.434 Cust ID 1270-1412_R6A Singapore available in that thread. The handset apparently is from M1 so I'm not sure if it's branded or not.

No don't remove the thread. If you didn't get M1 apps after following that tutorial then the M! apps must have been installed on top of the ROM that's probably why you never got any M! apps when you reflash.
Keep this thread it's always a contribution that you made and plenty of people will have use for it.

I flashed with flashtool and there is option not to wipe.
This firmware is confirmed not the generic as I have seen this SI/CDA number in the demo set. Retail sets (so far I've seen) begins with 1270, but if you notice this begins with 1272. Moreover, none of the retail sets will run the "demo" video when you start your phone and worst is that it won't let your phone to switch off the screen.
I don't know how you ended up with this firmware on your handset!

Alright I am new to the XZ, i use to have the X Play a long time ago, but havent messed with BL unlock, flashing, rooting or anything in awhile. I had a question, if i unbrand my TMobile XZ to an unbranded version, will i then be able to unlock my BL? Or does that remain unlockable regardless?

Good evening. First and foremost , i have jumped in and out of multiple threads looking for a solution. I have yet to figure out my issue. So the problem is that i have extracted my bootloader and modem from samsungs stock firmware and flashed it while running a custom rom. However, i still do not have any signal or internet. Ive tried using modems and bootloaders from different updates but that has not worked either. Could it be that i didnt covert the files properly? they both are tar files and are recognized by odin. I also get a pass when i flash them but still no internet or signal. I even tried going to network operators and choosing my respective carrier but that fails as well. I have yet to figure this out so i havent been able to use any custom roms thus far.. (NOTE 5 920K) Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Do you have a visible IMEI and baseband? Is your IMEI all zeros and your baseband null? Does changing your APN do anything? What happens when you flash back to a completely stock firmware? Have you tried a different sim or pulling your current sim card out and re-inserting?
