This should be what you need to get the current Lollipop OC1 rom installed on the AT&T N900a Galaxy Note 3:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3069609
You will have to use Odin to install.
If you look in the "general" section of this forum, there are also Odin files for Kitkat nc2.
Good luck.

Worked like a charm! Thanks for the info

Should i buy the ATT Note 3?

Hi All,
In terms of which version of the NOTE 3 to buy, should i get the ATT one? in terms of development to the device.
I see that the android development forum is currently empty, are roms of other version (not ATT specific) are compatible with it?
thanks.

The AT&T note 3 currently has a locked bootloader. No flashing roms until someone finds a way to unlock the phone. People who seem to need to flash roms are buying the t-mobile one (which has an unlocked bootloader) and bringing it over to AT&T.
I have a rooted and flashed Att Note 3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2474422

What he meant to say was flashed with stock root injected rom, NOT custom rom
Sorry did make it sound like custom Rom. Stock Rom with root access.

Honestly if you're looking for s-pen functionality plus some customization.. rooting plus wanum modules pretty much does the trick. It would be nice if we could flash roms but I don't miss it with all the features this phone has

I would buy the T-Mobile note 3 if you want to flash stuff and rom development. I've been running ATT on the T-Mobile phone for a while now and all is well.

This.
Root on the stock ROM is great, it allows you install must have apps like Greenify, DroidWall, AdAway, Root Explorer, and Wannum Xposed Framework. Plus is stable, being based off the official stock OS.
That's all you really need, and allows tons of control over the phone, without an actual ROM or need for unlocked bootloader.

Just to be clear, this is the forum for the S4 Active which is a different phone than the regular S4. That said, it really depends on which version of the S4 Active you have:
If you have the AT&T version (i537), then you can root, but you cannot install custom recovery due to a locked bootloader (stupid AT&T). You can still install custom ROMs using SafeStrap, but you are limited to TouchWiz based ROMs.
If you have the International version (i9295), then you can root and install custom recovery (the bootloader is unlocked), so you can pretty much install whatever you want.
I hope this helps, check out the Development section of this forum for more information.

It would not turn it into an international version for sure. I'm about 90% sure it would brick. If you decide to do it anyway, I'm not knowledgeable on brick recovery, search the forums for that.

They technically aren't the same device. The 9005 has different processor.
which n3s are the same as at&t ?

It's hard to find a page that compares all the note 3 variants. At least for me it is! This is a good comparison page.

The N900A has a locked bootloader and cannot be flashed period. There is currently no way to flash it. There is safestrap that lets you use an alternate ROM but the kernel will still be the same. There is no way to flash the N900A right now. If you do try to flash it, you will brick it for good.
I was going to flash via the tar file via odin not safe strap but we'll see how it goes tomorrow

Unroot files/stock firmware 4.4.2 AT&T GN3

So the AT&T Note 3s just got a 4.4.2 KitKat update, but I am currently rooted and want to unroot, so I need the stock 4.4.2 firmware files. Does anyone know if these are available yet and if not, how long it usually takes for it to be released? I'm a noob here and rooting and unrooting my Nexus 5 was far easier, so please excuse me if I'm asking some dumb questions.
Thanks

How likely for a note 4 port rom?

im sure me and half of the forums are curious how likely and unlikely (being realistic) is it that we will see a note 4 port ?
We can't answer that question because we don't have the software yet. But... Very unlikely because bootloaders.
Hopefully it comes!
What's going on with the bootloader? Is it still being worked on or is it a lost cause.
I flashing rom 4.4.4 of note4 on note3 ..this suitable with my region. ...everything ok ...but not booting and transfer to download mode

How is everything ok if it doesn't boot or go into download mode? Sounds like a brick.
