Yes i am sure. It's a developer working on xiaomi who made it. Here is the android 5.1 from him http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-3/general/android-5-1-ivan-t3056153 and here is 4.4.4 http://en.miui.com/thread-44424-1-1.html

Ivan has a privat source. Not official.

These are the ones with official sources.
Try Bitti09's CM12:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-3/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t3036066
(Link in thread posts)
Or audahadi's Temasek builds:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-3/development/temasek-unofficial-cm12-t3012588
I should warn you, the official kernels are VERY unstable as of now, and the Devs are working on them as we speak...Expect a LOT of bugs.
(Wifi not working, bootloops, reboots, battery drain, pretty much everything is a WIP at this stage...)

Do you think it could be some old kernel sources? May be MIUI uses some other kernel sources?
Or it is possible that MIUI devs did the same work as our dev do right now - fixing bugs in kernel sources?
I'm just trying to understang how it works
If MIUI have no bugs so either it basd on different kernel sources or MIUI devs already fixed all kernel sources bugs but not within branch released and within MIUI code instead.
PS: Sorry, I'm C# dev, not firmware dev, so have no clue how those things works :silly:

[Q] What is the difference between FXP and official CM10 ROM [solved]

What is the difference between FreeXperia Project distribution and regular CM10 downloaded from CM?
I have been trying to find out the best ROM for my Xperia T and I am ready to install FXP 149 but I am not sure is this a good choice.

Is FXP149 fully functional or should I wait for a major release? Is FXP system rooted by the default? Can I update it in the future only by flashing a new ROM or by an update service, too?

well there are some minior issues, look at FXP website.. but it is mostly functional. it is rooted. you flash newer version of CM10 on top of it (nightlies or FXP releases).
going back to Sony ROM, you need flashtool and .ftf.
FXP releases each week and there will be minor bug fixes in each releases.. but still fxp releases will have bugs,,,

[Q]CM 10.x / 11 builds. any stable?

i understand there is no official cm support for XSP yet. i also know that freexperia project has cm versions for XSP.
i'd like to ask which of the cm versions in the FXP site is considered a stable build. are there any bugs? or which funtionalities are missing?
because there aren't any details of the ROM versions in the FXP site.
Thank you very much

Well, they all are initial released and they will all come with BUGS which you can live with. However, if you still want to flash it, just flash the latest version as in every NEW version bugs are fixed and performance is improved!
I will suggest wait a bit and you will soon have a stable CM for your phone!
Good Luck

Will CM11 final build come to XSP?

We know XSP was moved to CM12.1 a short time ago, but what I want to know is if XSP will receive the final CM11 when rolls out.

since the official cm12.1 is here (actually marcl doing all the job and i feel cm team are not making that effort to our device )cm11 will no longer be updated for our device from cm site ...but any developer could always build a cm11 with the latest sources from cm11

I guess this only shows on the Chinese website? [I looked on en.miui.com] Is it still KK based?
Are we not better off following STRYDER~007's guide and building on a LP AOSP base if so?

Its 4.4.4 and it would be better to build from source , as I have damaged my m7spr and switched back to the nexus 7 grouper ,I can not build or make this ROM without testing , I have only had problems with boot.IMG but it is pretty easy ,as of now there should be a 6.0 source I have seen it was ported to a new device
I'd be all for giving it a go. I think that sticking to 5.1.1 for now would make the most sense, 6.0 isn't anywhere near ready to daily at this point. - I could give the @STRYDER~007 method a go, but I'm not aware of any non CM bases. I don't have the room to compile from https://android.googlesource.com/ and I don't know of a "clean" AOSP ROM. Any suggestions there?
...I may give CM12 a try, it just seems that leaving as little room for error as possible would be ideal.
