Sounds good at first, but there's a catch?
Yes, there is the unfortunately. The first dates refer only to the Chinese market. When the update for the Huawei devices in Germany appears is currently unknown. The evidence indicates that it usually takes a few months to getting the updates are longer their way to the West. Recently, we asked ourselves.
Where is EMUI 3.0 for Huawei Ascend P6 ?!
Unfortunately the tables is nothing to it, or even to find a fix for the 2013er devices. However, we are confident that Huawei takes the criticism of his Updatepolitk to heart and our international customers supplied with a short-term fix.

Android M for Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5, Rumor Roundup
Android M is the upcoming major update for the device running on Android operating system. Currently Galaxy S5 and Note 4 are receiving Android 5.1.1 in some regions. Google is going to release Android M under version 5.2 in September. Previously Samsung had taken much time than expected to rollout the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Galaxy S5 and Note 4 devices. But this time the South Korean giant may rollout the Android M update for Galaxy S5 and Note 4 devices in time as it is not a big update like Android Lollipop. So Samsung may begin the rollout of Android 5.2 to Galaxy S5 by the end of this year. Note 4 users may also receive the Android M update by the end of this month.
Galaxy S5 Retail and unlocked editions will receive the Android M update earlier than carrier locked editions and the same applies to Galaxy Note 4 also. Full details about the rollout dates will be revealed in coming months.
Android M brings special app permissions that give more control over device and apps. New Doze mode saves more battery and increases the standby time of device. It already has proved in Google Nexus devices and it is working much better than Lollipop battery saver. Google released the previews of Android M for developers and bug reporting. Till two minor bugs have been reported and there are no major bugs. So it seems that Android M will be the bugfree version of Android Lollipop. User interface also simplified in Android 5.2. Samsung may also minimize Touchwiz to improve performance and user experience. More details and full changelog will be revealed at the time of rollout of Android M to Galaxy S5 and Note 4.

The original Honor Magic first showed up in December of 2016 and was one of Honor's less-popular phones. This could be due to the limited availability, or maybe it was a misunderstood phone. The Honor Magic was a more significant phone than you might remember and that's why I'm really excited for the Honor Magic 2. The Honor Magic was actually the first AI phone to ever hit the market. These days you'll see most flagship phones taking advantage of some sort of version of AI technology, but the Magic did it before all of them. This set the groundwork for the Honor 10, Honor View 10, Honor Play, and Honor 8X, which all use the same AI technology.

Now with the Honor Magic 2 on the way, we could see another evolution of their AI system. They teased a new AI assistant called "Yoyo" at the 8X launch event. Since then we haven't received any further information on it, but I expect it will have a lot to add to the current state of digital assistants.
They've also shown us a bit of the new pop-up camera which gets rid of any need for a notched display. We have seen this design implemented into other devices since then, but we still don't know the full details of how this function will work.
The launch date for the Honor Magic 2 is set for October 31st in Beijing. This new phone will undoubtedly set the groundwork for new technologies for future Honor phones. We will learn more about the specs and price at the launch, which so far have been kept a secret.
A few details about the new phone have leaked. We know that it will feature six cameras with three on the back and three on the front. There will also be a curved 2K AMOLED display which is a rare thing to see in an Honor device. The exterior of the Honor Magic 2 will have similar curves as the Mate 20. We also have a look at the color options for the phone.
We will be covering the event live on our Facebook page. Make sure you check it out at 7AM ET.

I just received this promotional graphic from Honor. The poster shows a "save-the-date" teaser for January 22 2019 in Paris. What kind of surprise could Honor have in store for us this time? I have no other additional information on this subject, but I suspect this could be Honor bringing the Magic 2 or View 20 to China and other countries.
We know that Honor has always released a new phone at the end of the year. The Honor View 10 was announced in December of 2017 and launched in January 2018. This could be a similar situation. There's also the possibility that this event has something to do with the Honor 11. George Zhao (Honor Executive) did confirm that Honor will be releasing the Honor View 20 and Honor 11 sometime in 2019. The exact release dates are unknown.
If they do announce the Honor View 20 at this event, we have an idea of what we can expect due to a few leaks.
This leak has surfaced showing the display of the Honor View 20 featuring a water drop notch. The new phone will ship with the Kirin 980 chipset and 6GB of RAM. We will probably also see 40W charging come to the View 20, and you can expect it to ship with Android Pie and EMUI 9.0. The Price will most likely stay under $600 like its predecessor.
What do you think this could mean? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

If my guess is correct its Honor View 20
What about the nova 4 with infinity-O screen? They have to beat Samsung to the punch.
Its the Honor View 20.
I am so glad, I was very close to buying the magic 2 and about to settle on the fact I would be paying massive import charges from China, but now this phone has been announced and will have a global release (and in my opinion better in every aspect over the magic 2).
Late last year, Huawei announced EMUI 10, its latest software based on Android 10. They kicked things off with a beta that was made available for many Huawei and Honor devices. Today, the company is announcing (via press release) the rollout schedule for stable EMUI 10, starting with the Huawei P30 series.
Huawei continues to march on despite its well-documented situation within the Android ecosystem. EMUI 10 brings many of the features we’ve come to know from Android 10, including Dark mode, as well as Huawei’s own interface updates and performance and security improvements. You can check out our hands-on with EMUI 10 on the Huawei P30 Pro to see it in action.
The good news for those wondering about Google services is the devices listed in the roadmap were released before the ban. That means they will be allowed to continue to use Google services. Huawei has listed six devices that will be getting EMUI 10 this month and a bunch of other devices scheduled for “later months.”
January:
Huawei P30 Pro
Huawei P30
