[Q] Adding Languages to Display Language List - Windows Phone 8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any way to change the display language to something other than those enabled by OEM?
I'm asking it for a Lumia phone which has a APAC rom and my language isn't available in the list.
Are all languages available for writing language?

This is technically possible for you to flash another rom for your device retail mode code (RM)
Some of Nokia Roms include most or all of the languages for example my RM-821 with Malaysia rom includes all languages include Persian , Arabic and other right to left langs to Chinese and etc.

Lumia 638 ( I don't own this device) only has one product code: RM-1010 059W0P1 VAR APAC CN CMCC
As far as I know it has been announced in India and China, what is the product code of Indian one?

[Q] Portuguese system language?

Hello everyone!!
I want to buy a Htc One but I have a doubt! I searched on youtube some videos about system language and I found some videos that doesn't show Portuguese language option on settings! Does anyone can help me answering if there is portuguese on the American version or just on European version? If I buy any version that there isn't portuguese I can change the rom like I had done on my samsung galaxys?
Edit:
Here's the videos:
with portuguese language: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdZZhkPvHJ4
without portuguese language: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k82ygfN9P0
can anyone pick up your phone and see if there is on settings? u.u"
The unlocked US developer edition has Portuguese language, so any rom based on that base should have it, like 1.29.1540.16

more Languages for my note 3?

hello everyone
I just got my note3 from att, but there is no Chinese in the system and I could not add more languages with morelocal 2 and language enabler. I know att has locked the bootloader, so is that possible to add Chinese to the rom?
thank you very much

No. For ATT version, Under Settings>Controls>Language and Input>Language lists the following:
Deutsch
English
Espanol
Francais
Italiano
Korean
You'd have to have a chinese rom to have chinese menus. Right now, ATT still has a locked bootloader, so loading another rom is impossible.
However, if you want to type Chinese (e.g. email or text), download Touchpal X keyboard and add chinese handwriting. Then it will let you text in chinese.
Good luck

Which firmware has Greek Display Language in Note 5 N910I?

Hello
Which firmware has Greek Display Language in Note 5 N910I?
Not sure if N910I will have Greek language. Best bet would be that the Turkish version of the phone might have it, though that is a N910C-model.
If you have root you can enable it yourself on any model: go to system/csc/language.xml. Open the xml in a text editor and add Greek (not sure about the language code but it might be 'el_GR') to 'Display' and/or 'Input' (Input is for writing Greek). Save and reboot and Greek should be enabled.
Australian Firmware has Greek Language and many more, thanks a lot
